Ah, yes, it was in Hawaii, 1983 or 84, last stop of the tour, Journey played five sold-out nights at Blaisdell Center (which only holds about 6,000 people), and guess who opened for them every night? Of course, The Eric Martin Band! It was the first time I saw this "Sucker for a Pretty Face" dynamo, but I will never forget those nights. I went to every concert but one, and by the third night we were all talking about getting there early to see the whole set by Eric and the band...what a voice, what a memory!
