A well regulated Militia means get together and train often, and not regulated by the government .
"well regulated" was meant to be taken as "ready to defend liberty at all times" not anything else, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar, a wannabe tyrant, or a coward, or all of those.

I teach my battalion to be as book smart as they are field smart.
If someone is not physically able to perform at a high level they can help with logistics, communication, and intel among other important roles.

This is good, but I feel like officials like the Police would forget what the militia stands for and what it’s all about. How do you make a militia when your local law enforcement hates the existence of a militia and sees it as a threat? Then what?

ZzBiohazzardzZ law enforcement views differ greatly from one county/township to another. If they see you as a threat, treat them the same. I wouldn’t talk or discuss your disciplines with any of them, unless you know them and trust them. I know my sherif, he is a pro gun guy, but I would Not trust him as he is a politician first.

This spring I was thinking about hosting a map and compass navigation class, then see who wants to go further with recognizing patrons within ourselves and the community. Also going to do a get home bag jamboree before that, with friends.

I've tried for years to wake people up to this fact and they act like I'm nuts for just wanting to teach them how to clear a structure as a team and say that they'll never have to do that and every thing else is just as unnecessary and crazy to them. People are so blind it breaks my heart.

The state currently is attacking all of us who are outliers, Libertarians, Socialists, Communists, and even those who think differently. One thing most people are missing. The 3 percent fight. That means we need just as many supplying and supporting. I can fight. I would better serve by teaching others to build and use arms. I prefer the fight to teaching, but I am more useful as a teacher. Most are more useful providing cash, food, shelter, information, etc. Be what makes you most useful to the cause!
Moon- Well said, sometimes your roll changes. I used to be one of the top now I would serve better for the cause off the front lines. Something that all should ask themselves. Besides the long cold and uncertain sleepless night take a toll on you.
We are blessed because our County Sheriff has already offered to train church security both at their range and to have training drills in each individual church so we are in good shape to approach him about training militia. Great video!

Militias need to be unified, organized nationwide and all based on the founding principles and Constitution. Crackpot militias and racist groups calling themselves militias that ruined the reputation need be excluded. Well trained and reputable until such time as the public respect and trust is earned.

I say this to patriots within my age range 40 to 50 years old. I rather die defending the constitution than being known as a part of a generation in history that let the constitution die fading away. I dont want to go to the after life and Meeting President Washington, Thomas Jefferson, the members of the continental congress, and all Patriots that fought in the revolutionary war, that our generation in our time let their historical work they initiated from 1775 to 1787 explain to them why we let the constitution go to waste. In these time of tyrannical lockdowns and social media censhorship due to this corona virus pandemic I personally am now very convinced that all neighborhoods need an organized militia and self sufficient homes(growing our own food,backup power generaters and backup water purifiers) because I feel like something big is coming and most people will not be prepared.

Thanks for all the support; believe me, I think it's complete hog-wash that Iowa has standing legislation banning militias. We do have many patriots who're essentially giving the middle finger (nods to FreedomFighter & Blackriflesmatter). Wish we had more active LEO in our ranks. A base station operator is a valuable thing that anyone of nearly any age or physical ability can do. radio communication and coordination is invaluable in bigger operations...
I don't know how to hit reply to your comment but it has been all over AM radio since noon I live in Wisconsin so whatever timezone they're talking about that's what their 14:00 will be. I heard it on the radio a station out of Arizona I listen to on my simple radio app.

In a unconventional warfare group like a milita too many people focus on guns and shooting when they need to focus on tactics and strategy because you’re never going to outgun or even come close to being able to stand in a normal battle with your enemy

I would be very cautious about allowing law enforcement or politicians anywhere near your militia. Most militias are fairly secretive for good reason.

Exactly!!!! While a fictional book written a decade and a half ago, I highly recommend "Enemies Foreign And Domestic", by Matthew Bracken. He describes a time in and around Virginia, eerily close to what is going on today, and pressure tactics used by Federales to cause people not even involved in militias to infiltrate and become rats. Thought provoking and a good read.
There's two ways to deal with infiltrators. First, extreme vetting done properly will disclose law enforcement officers before they ever step foot in the ranks. Second, don't break the law, and there's nothing to snitch about.
