22:07 caused by good quality wobble juice 😻
For the hinge corners I have a little metal block with a spring loaded sliding corner chisel..
I also have a 1" and 1 1/2" corner chisel.. for timber framing 🐈
Nice!

Love your cooking segments... Merry Christmas
When you’re tenderizing your chicken, which is what that mallet was for, if you cover it with plastic it would be a lot cleaner and easier to clean up. Another little trick, stick your formed chicken into the freezer until it holds shape. This way you won’t need to use the toothpicks. Just put your ingredients in the middle bowl up the chicken around it put it on to a pan then when you have all your stuffed chickens, ready stick it in the freezer get your breading and egg wash ready, I like to dredge my chicken in season flour before egg wash and breading.
Woo, good stuff.
That Chicken Cordon Bleu looked tempting, and has really stimulated my appetite for the sage and onion-stuffed roast chicken I have in the oven!
It seemed quite an involved procedure making the jig for routing the hinge mortice reliefs, would you have gone to that trouble if there was only one door involved?
Merry Christmas Peter, to you and Lady Z.
Iam surprised you havent tryed this before genious WISHING YOU AND YOUR FAMILY a MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEWYEAR have a good one
Hi Peter,I hope you’re Christmas went well. The cabinet finish looks beautiful.I think that your hinge jig deserves a place of its own,it is a little work of art.Cheers and all the best for the new year to you and yours.Roly🇬🇧.

Merry X-mas to all and happy New Year with World Peace :))
Beautiful bud as usual love your work. Merry Xmas
Same to you
I should note cabinets with glass fronts commonly have glass shelving and interior lights.
Very true but on a boat I didn't think the glass shelves were ideal.
Hi Peter. Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year. I have been watching you for years and truly enjoy watching wooden boat restoration and your cruising adventures. Love it Love it Love it !!!
Merry Christmas to you and Lady Zephyrus, best to you into the New Year and may all the projects good smoothly.
Happy Christmas Peter! Many thanks for the amazing content, cant wait to see what projects you have planned for 2024!
Happy Holidays, Peter!
Question- Since you asked for questions-
Are you still working with your Custom House CAD(esign) business, or have you gone full time UA-camr? You never mention doing that other stuff anymore. Not that it’s really any of our business, but I am sure some are curious.
Thanks again, Peter, see you on New Year’s Eve!
Great looking boat, Merry Christmas!
Fantastic work Peter, Happy Christmas to you.
I challenge a PayPal challenge of whatever amounts you can to give Peter som joy this year as he shows a true spirit week after week
Thanks so much!
Damn that food looked delicious. Happy Holidays Peter.
Question for NYE, how are you coping with rain water leaks? I still on my new to me Grand Banks have a couple but not nearly as many as I had on my old Monk.
I notice you use a lot of neat stuff in your restorations. From lights to switches to what have you. Could you make up a list of the stuff you have used so your followers and fans can purchase the Peter approved accessories with which to build a better boat ?
Didn't notice a word of the week so I will assume it is Christmas. Merry Christmas Peter and may you always have smooth seas.
Planned for the new year.
Happy holidays Peter! I did want to post a question, are you still planning on doing the great loop waterway?
That's the plan!
@@TravelsWithGeordie im looking forward to it!
PS deep fried ice cream was the desert of choose fryers were roken
Love it!
Are liveaboard slips becoming as scarse on the ground (water) out there in B.C. as is happening in other places in North America?
Yes, very scarce.
If you were to take a holiday cruise, which of your boats would you use? My second question doesn't rhyme: what is the make & model of MV Poem?
I might of missed it but did you glaze between the lead and glass? It helps stabilize it and will keep it from rattling.
No, so far no rattles but if they start, I will.
Looks great nice work.@@TravelsWithGeordie
My question is this - Any interest in getting a dog in the future as a companion. Thanks and best to you.
One of your best shows, but if you ever start a cooking channel use a double blind subscribership barrier. Call yourself "Everyday Holiday Cooking" or something...everyday people don´t need to know exactly how talented you are, or that you alway cook with gas! Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Heh, you're too kind.
Holiday, Holiday, Holiday. Is the chat the way to get in touch with you? Email doesn't seem to get a response.
Catching up on correspondence today.

Merry Christmas to you too Mr. clever clogs. I was so impressed by your jig for setting hinges…. My goodness I have just banged away at the chisel to do this task. Thanks so much for sharing your exploits over the last year and I have learnt so much along the way. Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
Merry Christmas Peter and Lady Z

Happy hollydays to you and your loved ones.

Hi Peter great work discovering the micro routing capabilities of a Dremel, I use mine all the time for small cuts when repairing guitars. Have a wonderful Christmas, take care D
Have a great Christmas and all the very best for 2024! - almost forgot, I got hold of a case of the Jamaican ginger beer and it’s as good as you said
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. God Bless Y'all.
Very nice. Question: how do make sure that the doors don’t open when underway? Could be messy.
I would like to wish you and lady Z the best of the holiday season. Keep up the great work. ❤

Good job Peter, , Happy Humbug, .
Have a fun Festivus. Woooof to Finnegan.
Peter, that Chicken Cordon Bleu looks amazing! Merry Christmas, hope you have an awesome 2024!
Peter: Dremel actually sells a set of router bits. Not saying what you are using won’t work. Saying but you probably already know this. You did an awesome job with these cabinets and the cut glass windows.
And a merry Christmas to you too
Merry Christmas! Cheers!
Happy holidays Peter to you, your family and friends. Cheers!
Same to you!
Merry Christmas peter
Merry Christmas everybody! Have a great holiday time!
I hope you'll get moments of peace and a real good few holy days!
That cooking episode was really nice - even though I would not acknowledge it as a Cordon Bleu - but good food it is!
I am kind of in love with your hinge-jig!
And I really do like the looks of your cabinets!
Looking forward to NYE
Q 1: Is there still any old rotten thing on Geordie to resolve? Or is it from now on mainly stuff that you yourself left for later?
Q 2: Do you have a time-estimate update on your future plans (from now to the very end on a narrowboat ... or whatever may have changed)?
He is born! Merry Christmas! Would it have been beneficial to have taken the hinges with you to Genoa Bay, and/or cabinet frame stock? Keep sharing meal prep on board, as I am the household chef and sailor [no galley] and take note. Cheers! Happy Holiday!
I have very limited use of a car now and then so have to be as quick as possible in Genoa. 3 hours round trip.
Happy Holidays! I really enjoyed the cooking segment. Double dipping is a great idea. More how to cook onboard in 2024 is the only improvement I can see.
Merry Holidays to you and Lady Zef. so what you do with wood i am amassed you have me a lot always thinking out side the box but making cents .i am a retired Chef 30 years you did not complete the vid .how did the blue work out . one of my specialty's served with mushroom or clam sauce not clam chouger c,am sauce .would love to no made thousands of them for New Years eave Special 100.00 a plate they were made on trays and the total time for a trey was 12 HRs i called them cash flow .What you made looked good and what sauce was served with em
Peter, excellent work on the cabinets. I will be stealing that jig idea, very nice. I hope you have a joyous Holiday and we will see you in the New Year.
P.S. I also could have egg nog all year round.
Happy holidays!
Magnificent work Peter and merry Christmas yes I have one or two questions I'm really loving the work your doing on Poem and Lady V's boat but your poor poor Gordie go's unattended her roof well to be blunt looks like hell it has to leak the Gelcoat is peeling off its easy to mix and a heat gun helps set fiberglass and Gelcoat in cool Temps all you need is to remove the soft material and with a disk grinder it's much faster you need a Tyvek suit goggles and a respirator it's nice to have gloves on through is there for once you get that cleared out you can rebuild that roof once you get to the structure underneath strong then you can send that out smooth use Bondo if you need make sure it's a vinyl Ester chloride not the other type which is porous non-porous Bondo once you get that top surface all smoothed out then go ahead and lay out your gel coat thin it out and use a roller it's much easier than spraying because you need to hydraulic pump to spray gel coat
Hi Patrick! Wow, such great info here. Thanks!
