Have you been to Dauphin Island? What did you think?
I live in Daphne and took a day trip to Bayou La Batre on the way to Dauphin Island. It was very relaxing because it is not Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. I hope it stays that way. The cool thing about it was I did the aquarium, ate at Pirate's, drove to the west end and hiked the trails of the Audobon Bird Sanctuary, did a few errands on the way back home and arrived by 4pm. Plan on camping in Dauphin Island Thanksgiving weekend
Yea. I like this place. 💯 Full relaxing.
It sure is!!
Great video I live in Mobile and think Dauphin Island is paradise 🌴
Thank you so much!
Yes we went there multiple times when i was working in Mobile area, really beautiful place i love it.
For those of you that don’t know and wonder about the history of Fort Gains. That is one of the sites where the battle
of Mobile was fought. Please read of its history. It is such an interesting part of history. As is other places in and around Mobile. It has original cannons, a blacksmith shop, gift shops, tunnels, a kitchen. It is where Admiral Farragut shouted his famous order, “Damn the torpedoes! Full speed ahead!”
Also I noticed you didn’t mention any chain restaurants or chain clothing stores. That is a great thing. Chain businesses in my opinion destroy the uniqueness of areas.
Great video.
This is a great comment. I really appreciate you sharing all of this and appreciate you watching the video.
Thanks for the great tour. It was very informative and the one of one tour format was very effective at keeping my attention throughout every moment. I recently found out that I'm going to be moving to Dauphin Island very soon and found your video researching the area. Thanks again, wonderful video.
@@eisme4770 thank you so much for the response! Please let me know if you have any other questions, I’ll be happy to help you anyway I can.

I live in Fairhope but have a place on the water in DI and absolutely love the serenity of it. Favorite thing to do is read a book on my porch with a cup of coffee overlooking the bay side.
Great update! Thank you!
Thank you!
@@livinginmobile Can you fill us in on weather in late November there? What is it like? Thank you
Headed to Dauphin Island in two weeks for a great vacay!
I really liked this one!! -a fellow KW agent 😊😊😊
Thank you so much!
i’m thinking of buying something in the area of Shell Beach (Orange Beach) in about 4 months. Perhaps, in the $500,000 range. Maybe a slight fixer upper in a good area. what is your contact info?

Dauphin Island is very laid back and is great if you want a relaxing day at the beach, fishing, a trip to the sea lab, park or walking around. If you are looking for entertainment for kids, conveniences lots of, venues, its not for you. You need to get all of your groceries on the way because a full grocery trip is 25+ miles or more each way. Try Gulf Shores or FL if you want every convenience. Beach living is expensive in AL, a beach home or condo easily 500k and up, insurance gets higher every year because storms and hurricanes are a fact of life on AL coast, plus, Dauphin Island is very remote, closest hospitals are Mobile and Fairhope, an hour + away. We live almost 2 hours away for these reasons, we can do a day trip or couple days at the beach without sky high insurance, evacuations, or having to deal with the results of a hurricane. This IS a real estate ad.
Is that a bicycle / golf cart path along the highway?
