Unfortunately I dont think you can download this album yet. They dont even have a contract for the English versions of the album. That's a shame, because I really want that damn album. It's amazing.

having listened to this track, brilliant. ive noticed that there have been quite a few very good metal bands from eastern europe over the past few years. get them on scuzz [tv channel in england which specialises in rock and metal.]

@yokohallow Judging from the melody of Aina's voice to the symphonic keyboards,
Russian Balckthorn sounds a bit DARK and I love it. More credit should be given to Aina (singer/songwrriter) and Freya (keyboardist).
If you want something DARKER and more atmospheric, type the keywords "Blackest Orchid - Empty Graves" and "Blackest Orchid - Realm Of The Damned".
Blackest Orchid is a perfect blend of Dark Wave Music and influence of Somber Black Metal but mostly without the screams.

There are some. Serbia has a few gothic bands that are quite okay, but nothing to fancy. And then there's Magica, but they're from Romania.
I doubt that you acually can find their music and the Internet. I had to record it from their homepage with a plug-in-program to Firefox Mozilla. But they are currently working at their first studio album. Well, at least I think so x]

I could not believe they were girls until about halfway thru this song. brilliant track, good players too, soaring vocals, & damn sexy!!! where are they from, does anyone know? will be listening to more of them. I'm a bloke, & I'm VERY impressed.

@MultiRatbu Totally league of their own. I think the idea and cult of witches, wiccan cult, is much, much closer to paganism and not gothic at all. It's just some of the gothic style, the dresses, the victorian horror scene with castles, cathedrals, graveyards that whole scene.. just tends to overlap with the wiccan scene. Dn't know I love both styles and all things pagan :P

I never once stated Blackthorn is Blackmetal, They are not, since (so far) I have not heard any lyrics pertaining to satan. They are wiccan, which is very different from satanism. I hope you have the clout to discuss instead of just calling me names or thumbing me down. Don't be afraid to back up your words.
Their new drummer is actually a man, but that doesn't matter. Still amazing =)
