Happy Sunday! I saved $15 today. My favorite SC are HH because I can play along with everyone. Other challenges that are my favorites are those that I assign a goal to that help motivate me to finish them based on their priorities.
It’s definitely a great replacement- when I first started cash stuffing - I was like- “ what is this!?” But once you understand it’s a visual replacement- it makes sense! 💛
Hi Jen, happy New Year. I got $21.00 on hello honey. Thanks for another great video. I would have been debt-free this month but life happened and my 2024 started on a sad 😢 note (funeral) and had to pay a portion of the funeral cost of a loved one but I will soon be debt-free by mid-February which is 5 months before the expected deadline. Yeah!
I’m sorry to hear of your loved one’s passing. 💛 It was probably a relief that you were able to assist with expenses. Your goals will be met- you’re doing great!

I also get paid bi-weekly. I do 3 things to keep me motivated. First, I split the money I set aside for savings challenges (SC) from each paycheck in half so that I'm able to play weekly. 2nd, I do lower dollar SCs so that I have more "wins" more quickly which also allows me to play more SC simultaneously. 3rd, I play with my husband so we make it a game night for the both of us.
This is awesome! I love that you and your husband do it together! 💛 And yes, splitting up your money so you can play weekly is a great idea to stay motivated. 🙌
I saved $26 with hello honey. Love the idea of using prop money in the 100 envelope challenge. Have you thought about creating 2x3 (or whatever size the pockets are) prop money? plus I hate folding money bills

I have my husband put $100 every paycheck in the safe. I also stuff all my 5’s and 1’s in a jar. Once he started seeing the pile of cash appearing in the safe he got on board instead of laughing at me saying that’s pizza money. He kept asking to spend the cash and I said no, it’s for emergencies. On 12/31 he pulled it all out of the safe and I pulled all my 1’s and 5’s out of the jars. We, I say losely saved $5300 in cash. What he doesn’t know was that I was also dropping cash in my HYSA.
Hi, my question was where do you get your money.. I did not mean what do you do to your money.. do you get a paycheck every week? Do you leave part of your paycheck in the bank and write checks for your monthly bills? Do you envelope stuff monthly bills also? Then the cash for envelope stuffing is what is left each week? I been watching your channel I want to move a way from credit cards. I make 500 a year just paying for things on my credit card. I pay in full so no interest. I just got to learn how to budget better. Thanks for helping with ideas
I love this comment ! We went to CA for a substantial pay raise. After year one, nothing had changed. We were just spending it all. That’s when I started researching how to do better. I made that same decision as you- just no more credit. We don’t need it. Whether we pay the cards off and pay no interest or not - what’s the point, right? Just pay cash. It’s really the best red wine I’ve had- and I’ve tried a lot of different kinds. I live in wine country over here- vineyards everywhere. This $10 bottle beats them all!

They are cheap and he LOVES them! He plays little trickery games with me to get them! 🤣 Sometimes those are hard to find. Sold out at Walmart. I stock up when they are there!
Good Morning Jenn. I save $35 with HH. I do the low budget Wordle daily saved $40 in December and $13 so far this month. My favorite savings challenge are the busy bee cards, Hello Honey and Wordle. I like scratch offs also.
This year (2024), I decided to put together a book of savings challenges. I have the envelopes all together. I work on the challenges and put them aside when they are finished. I want to see how much I can save by the end of the year! They are there if i need them for an emergency, but i really want to see what i can do!
Oh yes! That’s awesome! So glad you are saving! It’s so satisfying! You are going to be so shocked at your progress. That drive to keep going gets stronger and stronger as you go! 💛

And also, there have been times when I needed to completely clear out SC due to emergencies or something like that. So- it’s easy to lose track of what you’ve saved over the year. I would like to look back on those cash planning sheets and add up what I stuffed each week - no matter where it went - and see how I did. 💛
