SCR is underrated
As it is being overshadowed by GER
@@ironicjason257 lmfao
True
@@ironicjason257 true but scr is powerful too bro
Its not scr, its chariot requiem, it doesn't get its full name because the arrow wasnt fully absorbed, it was merely punctured, not deemed worthy by the requiem arrow so it had to protect the arrow
But yes, chariot requiem is incredibly powerful, if they didn't notice the shadows they would have been fucked, they would have all died and there would be a roaming death zone around wherever charriot requiem meanders to
Chariot requiem is technically an incomplete requiem, which is even referenced by the name being incomplete(no silver chariot requiem, just chariot requiem). Chariot requiem goes rogue because polnareff dies during the transformation and is barely saved by CR's ability. It is implied that it would be controllable by polnareff if it had ample time to properly evolve
Ye I wonder what would of happened if polnareff was not tragically injured and was able to stab silver chariot fully
It didn't go rogue. Its fulfilling Polnareff's final request. To keep the arrow safe and bring it to someone he trusts, in this case Jotaro.
@@EmenussGOamazing the thing is CR *kill* Polnareff

Kore Ga Requiem, great vid and I agree that Chariot Requiem especially is very underrated in the community
Requiems are something we don’t completely understand, and I think that is a reason they don’t get talked about often. Their is another UA-camr, Kaleb AI, who did theory videos of what stands abilities would be if they became Requiems. Like Hierophant Green from part 3.
To my understanding, after part 5, the Arrows were never talked about again. Instead going to different universes/alternate realities. So this certainly doesn’t help on us understanding how these items work, and introduce new Requiems. But honestly, with D4C, The World, and Made In Heaven being the standard Stands, we don’t need anything more powerful.
lmao i know kaleb
METAs Cool! I’ve gotten into JoJo about last month, and I’ve been binging videos a few years old.
And Holy Shit, what the hell have I been missing out on?
a lot check out the homeboy meti
actually, the reason why the mutations happen is because it *controls the souls of all living beings* and turning these souls into unidentifiable, otherworldly creatures and nothing else, not because it's a defensive ability. with enough time, it's theorized that all life on earth would've been completely different if they didn't pursue chariot requiem
also, the reason why chariot requiem was an automated stand was because polnareff died before it completely transformed, so it had gone rogue without a stand user
*also* the shadow you see on chariot requiem is always opposite to your position no matter where you are and that's why everyone sees it differently
*also also* king crimson doesn't skip time, it obliterates time for about 10 seconds so diavolo can escape his own fate within the erased time. everyone else will move as fate declares them to move but diavolo moves freely and cannot interact with anything during this time. fortunately, fate eventually corrects itself, so diavolo eventually got the punishment he deserved for trying to escape fate all those years ago.
*also also also* GER kills you over and over infinitely without you reaching your death because of its "return to zero" ability, not because it's just something random
Yeah Diavolo's ability is a Fate ability like Made in Heaven, not a temporal one
And yeah GERs infinite death loop is a combination of its revert to 0 and life giver ability. The entirety of those infinite deaths likely happens within an instant
@@Aj-py8en Ok
i think fate really did favour diavolo, in his battle against risotto we see him in his epitaph getting his feet cut off and having a hole through his head. And we still see that happen to him, just not what we expected (like instead of his foot, it's risotto's). Either way it still happened just as he saw it. And in his battle against GER we saw in his epitaph that king crimson busted a hole through Giorno's chest, epitaph is always right. In conclusion, i think GER isn't favoured by fate, it's more like GER is immune to fate. We also heard GER saying "what you are seeing is indeed the truth but i'll never let you reach that truth" he didn't say his epitaph is wrong, he said his epitaph is right but he won't let that happen.
I always wondered if GER put Diavolo in a somewhat pocket dimension where all he does is die. As we saw in the show, as soon as Diavolo was about to die he was instantly put into another situation in a whole different place and he couldn’t control any of it. Maybe it is just my brain going oof.
No I completely agree!
i think diavolo"s death loop ended the moment it started cuz his mind and his body would be reset to the point right before he dies and the he gets killed again
So Diavolo never actually died, after the fight, Giorno says that he will never reach the truth, even his death so its not infinite death loop

no matter if joseph has hermit purple requiem the world act 4 love train over heaven he still gonna crash a plane
@@sultanaparvin3068 it’s clear by both examples of actual requiems, requiem does not simply give the stand a new ability, but completely evolves the stand to a new form. Killer Queen did not do this, he’d just gained a new ability he needed, sort of making it on its path to a requiem, but not completely
"Worthy" in JoJo is actually very easy to understand, alot of people didn't gain a stand due to they being weak (not Holy btw because she is worthy is just that her stand itself being forced out making it slowly killing her, the same case as Josuke) example of this is Koichi Hirose, he didn't gain Echoes on his 1st trial due to being not compatible with the stand virus nor a strong will to do whatever situation he was in (not really sure about strong will anyway because Angelo and his Geb but eh).
I was about to beat you because I thought you said Holly was weak

Diavolo is still stuck in the infinite death loop and is unaffected by the universe reset because GER is constantly resetting time to zero, which means that Diavolo lies outside the linear timeline. He is constantly dying again and again in a single moment that is unaffected by anything outside his timeloop
"GERs stand ability is Perfect Zero/Set everything back to zero"
This is kind of a half-serious half-joke question, but what if you had the power to "divide by zero" or had the power to go below zero (-1).
Good question but I’m not a theoretical physicist😅
That sounds interesting, i'll try to theorize how that could translate into a stand ability. I‘ll use Golden Experience Requiem vs Diavolo as an example.
1. Mathematically, dividing by zero would mean that you approach (but also never reach) infinity and negative infinity at the same time. Maybe reality for Diavolo would be split in two, one where the fated outcome happens and one where the exact opposite outcome happens. Diavolo has only one soul and would experience both of them simultaneously. To Giorno and everyone else, Diavolo would be in a permanent state of "equilibrium" where he continues to be technically alive but can't do anything anymore because both of his realities cancel each other out to zero.
2. Resetting to -1 would be "negative fate", at least if what was fated to happen was 1. Golden Experience Requiem resets to 0 and doesn‘t allow Diavolo to get to 1. If Gold Experience Requiem did reset to -1, Diavolo wouldn't end up killing Giorno because epitaph did predict him killing Giorno before the ability was activated. This one would be underwhelming, all Diavolo would now have to do is to wait for a prediction where he fails to kill Giorno. From that point onwards, it would be a cat-and-mouse game between Giorno and Diavolo.
black hole ?
Or a paracausal ability where zero is the result. Resetting it back to zero doesn't avoid the result because it is the result.
I think Polnareff is worthy of the arrow, but not strong enough to control it when he discovered it, and can't control it at all in the Requiem arc because, well, he died.
I don't really think the reason why Polnareff "isn't worthy" is simply because he's a cripple, mainly because of how, at least in the anime, Diavolo notes how Silver Chariot "hasn't lost any of its power". Even beyond that you could argue the Silver Chariot that fought Diavolo is slightly stronger than the one that fought DIO, considering more years of experience, though that's pure speculation. Either way, I think mobility was the main drawback to Polnareff being crippled, rather than any loss in power. I'd argue the arrow chooses beings more on their resolve, considering that's what Giorno's character basically embodies. It could also be that Polnareff's body dying broke away the distinction from full-fledged stand to automatic (in the manga, since the anime clearly shows Polnareff briefly saw Requiem beforehand), but that goes more into the speculation territory.
For Chariot Requiem's ability, at the very least from the Colored Manga Scans, which I find to be pretty accurate (though correct me if I'm wrong), when Polnareff starts to swap he says "The ability to switch souls between bodies is, in other words...the ability to switch creatures from our world with something else!". I think the keywords here are "our world", which implies souls from other dimensions are being brought in, rather than creating life. Honestly, I find that to be a more OP ability than creating life lol.
I also looked over how Chariot Requiem was defeated in the manga and while Diavolo did figure out destroying the light behind his soul would kill Chariot Requiem, he specifically didn't do that so he would stay in his own body. This is shown when Bruno completely destroyed the light. Again, I quote from the Colored Manga Scans:
"You found it yourself...the way to destroy Requiem...behind your head...no, there is something behind each one of our spirits...looks like I just need to break it...you didn't finish Requiem off because you wanted the arrow. But if I completely destroy this...that will extinguish the ability of the Berserk Stand Requiem...and all our swapped souls will [return to normal]".
It isn't a major distinction, but I find it very noteworthy when discussing the power of Chariot Requiem.
Sorry for the super SUPER long comment, I know these things are an absolute chore to read. I just really love part 5 and want to make sure I fully understand the intent of the story. Again, correct me if you think I'm wrong on any of these points, I'm free to change my mind on things lol.
I think Heavy Weather and it's weird uhhh..."snail power"...would be a fun video.
Well now I have three videos planned POG
Tear Drop
It has been shown that your soul is your identity, which is why F.F. has a human soul and why Doppio and Diavolo have separate souls despite being the same person with a split personality. Heavy Weather makes you believe with a constant subliminal image that you are a snail so much your soul actually makes you a snail
@@theancientone7798 interesting analysis! Also quick note, we’ve never seen diavolo’s soul, only doppio’s ;) all representations of Diavolo’s soul have been through KC, make of that what you will haha
@@rishic1030 probably to emphasize that Doppio is the original and diavolo is the alternate identitiy
You forgot about Killer Queen: Bites the Dust, personally I think he counts because it was a result of a stand user being pierced by the arrow a second time
Part 6 Never??? Yeah I know, and it's gained when Kira is pierced by the arrow a second time. The arrow also automatically came to him deeming him worthy exactly the way it did Giorno. So I feel like Killer Queen technically became a requiem stand.
I think it's a sun requiem, fate in jojo is said to follow justice, kira have the will but he doesn't follow justice,so the arrow only give a tatse of the requiem arrow
I’m pretty sure it is it’s just an early concept of a requiem stand
Requiem was only introduced until part 5, and it has a whole category of it with some other stabbed stand users as it examples (eg. Pucci and DIO) and since requiem are only obtainable by the perfect arrow (aka requiem arrow) it make sense that Yoshikage Kira's Killer Queen: Bite The Dust would rather be known as a sub stand or another stand if you might say
Sorry Johnny But I'm Quarintined the requiem arrow isn’t required it just give more powerful requiems since it has more mass
Na the Diavolo/giorno fight is unafected in the ireneverse (only the pt 6 cast got changes) so yea he is still dying
Yes, only the people that died while made in heaven is active will get changed
Diavolo lies outside the linear timeline since GER resets time to zero . So it doesn't matter since nothing in the original universe can affect Diavolo since he is constantly stuck in a timeloop
@@moderncrusader1150 i suppose you got a point
Damn poor guy can't even catch a break
I've seen someone make a parallel between ger and king crimson,
That kc erases the consequences of something and ger erases the cause , which of course leads to erasing the consequence. But what if there was a stand that could move objects through time and effectively changing the order of cause effect. Maybe this could be a stand that can beat ger but would still lose to kc and would create a JoJo stands rock paper scissors. Interesting right

Infinite Death is kind of a developed version of the life shot; it just gives you life again and again
Wonder of u requiem would be the most broken thing ever
simply knowing its existance without even thinking about pursuing it immediately puts you in the calamity
Weaker or equal to GER, no higher (unless your stand is sort of an evolution already like Kars's Ultimate stands but we won't talk about that)
So basically god in arrow form
The only way I think giorno could die would if he died by accident like in a natural disaster as there would be no intent/willpower or action to reduce to zero but that's only a guess
Yeah
Anything that isn't considered an attack could possibly have a chance at bypassing GER's defence.
The age manipulating stands might work. If Giorno is unlucky enough to make the first move, WOU's calamity might do the trick. And I'm pretty sure Superfly could metalize Giorno, considering that it's a constant passive effect with no "intent"
No, he could be killed by anything else, that anything else just needs to blitz him, or catch him off guard. If he dies, or Requiem dies, so does the other.
@@MManiaZone GER literally has a mind of its own and works instantaneously and is trigger by the mere intent of a opponent not even waiting for their actions
It waited until Diavolo was like, an inch from Giorno's face, so I don't know what you're talking about. And yes, it does have a mind of its own, but if someone's capable of, for example, blitzing Giorno, the exact same would apply to GER.
Oh, a video about golden chariot requiem and silver experience requiem!
I think Polnareff not being able to control chariot requiem is because he died when it turned and the arrow made it automatic, a stand’s strength is tied to your mental strength not physical. Since a stand is usually supposed to die when the user does, chariot somehow didn’t register that Polnareff was dead when it was pricked. And how to defeat it would explain the light, because if the light is your soul (or what ties your soul to the world), destroying it would make chariot think it was Polnareff was dead and die too. That’s just what I think.
He couldn't control it before, and it was when it wasn't even fully evolve like the 2nd times
He forgot to mention that if you attack the life that gold experience creates the damage gets instantly redirected to you. Tbh i think Araki forgot this as well since giorno only used this ability like twice lmao.
Golden Experience Requiem and his abilities never gets old
There was also that whole 'stands get stronger after they've been body swapped' for chariot requiem that got super briefly touched on.
The rebirth ability idea could possibly apply golden wind ability to already existing life like golden wind gives life/birth to objects like turning a brick into a snake GER could do the same but to already existing life instead like turning a person into something like a crab or monkey (which might rival or even be stronger than the power of ultimate Kars)
it's nice that you add Franklin Richards in this 10:04 moment
I would love to see more canon requiem forms, Hopefully in part 9
I always saw the reset to zero ability as an extension of giving life and infinite death concept, in that if a stand has essentially complete control over the spectrum of life and death or even cause and effect, surely it would stand to reason that it would be able to find the perfect zero point of that scale
"you'll never reach the truth" even at death, every action Will never reach its truth, thats the real ability of GER
Scr: has a pretty op ability
Also scr: gets killed by hitting your back
It'd be cool if we got a what if of jjba, and we get to see kcr, spr, twr, cdr some requiem stands.
man if polineriff controlled his requiem he definitely wouldn’t need to avoid stairs anymore 💀
I like to think of requiem as plot armor because the stand ability you get from the requiem arrow depends on what your desire is at the time polnareff wished to get the arrow away from diavolo so that’s the ability he obtained and GIORNO wanted to defeat diavolo and get past his time erasure and hence gained the ability to return to zero.
GE:R is so absurdly overpowered that his abilities theoretically soft-lock any battles he has with the vast, vast majority of overpowered characters in fiction.
Gers third ability is to fly
GER reset gravity to zero
The way i've learned to interpret GER's infinite death is just an expansion of the previous hightened mental functions of hitting a living being. Its like turning that up to infinity, such that the experience of death is repeated forever in the infintesimally small period of time before complete death.
If GER was to punch a person experiencing any sensation, it could lock in that sensation for an infinite amount of time from the perspective of the punchee. due to the nature of this ability, i suspect it would have to kill whoever it touches as there can be no "After" infinity.
Kore Ga Requiem!
yes
Next: Road Roller VS Ambulance.
To be worthy you have to have will power and something in your mind you want more than anything, and if the arrow thinks you worthy and get stabed by sed arrow, the requiem stand will repersent what you want the most.
Just realized what would happen if a non attack stand like coco jumbo or cheap trick or hey ya stand user would do if they tryed to get the arrow like maybe becuase there stands won’t hurt them maybe they could get the arrow much easier
Thinking about the idea of a stand without a user is spine tingling
Would any other Shonen be affected by CR's counter attack with a hamon like spirit energy like chi or nen if they went for the arrow?
I call g.e.r.'s ability time reversal and time looping, basically g.e.r. manipulates the flow of time negatively turning it back and based on what ability is being used you can say I invades the realm of exelorated time slowing and reversing it, making it as though you cant see the true outcome anymore because g.e.r. changed it with his ability to rewind time.
Chariot Requiem is honestly pretty terrifying
At 6:09 I'm pretty sure that the way you are to be worthy, you have to have a strong desire, and it has to feel that you have the strongest desire of anyone. That's probably why chariot requiem protects the arrow, is because that polnareffs desire to protect the arrow carried to requiem and will do anything to protect it.
Chariot was awakened before the diavolo fight polnareff just took the arrow from it
I think the requiem arrows do 2 things, the first is it evolves your stand and give it a new ability that’s consistent every time you use the arrow, the second is that it gives your stand an ability that helps you with what you want at the moment, like with silver chariot, the first time it got pierced by the arrow everyone was knocked out like the second time in rome, so that’s his constant ability, and the ability to control stands to protect itself and the arrow is the second ability because polnareff wanted to keep the arrow away from diavolo, with GER, perfect zero is the first ability and the infinite deaths is second one
It gives soul domination abilities
What i expected: more info on best boi Pol
What i get: unworthy cripple
If I remember right, Pornalef said that he doesn´t have the strength to control his requiem stand, probably not only physically but also mentally, taking into account that he had to live for years in a villa in his condition, having to isolate himself, since Diavolo could discover him at any time.
I think that Killer Queen: Bites the Dust is a requiem too because Kira gained the ability after he got stabbed with the stand arrow even though he had already a stand.
Tusk requiem, anything jonny or tusk requiem touch, they can choose to spin, and yes, that means ALL matter they touch
i think what it means by infinite deaths is your first death gets reset and you die again and this always repets
I wonder if the infinite death ability always activate when killing someone or if you can make it so they just dies once
I think that for the infinite dying ability for ger, its becuase ger also prevents the enemy from reaching yhe truth, and for most people (like diavolo) dying once is enough and they want to reach the truth of non-existence, which they will never get.
Requiems are crazy just crazy & has an no limit on what it can do. Now I wonder what would Made in heaven Requiem be, or if 'Heaven Stands' can achieve Requiem, or even if other Stands can have 'heaven' Counterparts. I just love talking about this stuff.
1 thing I did notice was they way you worded how Chariot Requiem's secondary ability works.
The whole Stand control thing.
Chariot Requiem does control Stands, but only when you get close to *The Arrow*, not Chariot Requiem itself.
If you don't have a Stand and you try to pick up the arrow, Chariot Requiem will actually charge at you, and while yeah you could fight Requiem since it's physically there, simply throwing a rock at the arrow will make the rock come straight back and attempt to kill you.
this is my theory is. since requiem stands are sentient, you need to tame it first.
like ger rtz diavolo's action, that's not giorno protect himself or ger protect giorno to keep him alive. ger protect giorno cause he want it, he got ger's respect, he's worthy to be protected by him.
Why nobody says about the "ilussion power" Of the ger? Is this real or a translation error?
The way I like to imagine it:
Gold Experience Requiem
Ability: *No.*

GER can decide when things begin and end for every living beings, so it can literally decide a person's status of life and death
SCR was only an automatic stand bc its user was non existant (Reminds me of someones father)
Actually, he does have a third power, it’s also displayed in part 5. His healing is buffed up and he can basically make the balls of power you see in dragon ball
Hehe balls
Silver chariot req but it keeps its speed and swords plus takes offf armor
In theory you could trap giorno in a place he can't escape and starve him out. The question is what would that place be?
it look like ger has all it's old abilitys plus requiem so i think scr would have it old abilitys as well maybe i dunno
10:00 when talking about ger losing to reality manipulation, actually i would argue that ger would beat dio oh if it wasnt nerfed af in that game
Polnareff confirmed that the requiem has the ability to manipulate soul on reality level already, we has other examples such as The World able to freeze soul, White Snake steal soul, Made in Heaven rewrite soul, and GER able to decide when thing end and start for pretty every living being
And Atum and Osiris being able to steal souls and put them in objects. Requiem being related to soul manipulation is just.... what? That's like saying Atum and Osiris are already requiem when they're not. That's like saying Black Sabbath can stab and grab soul because of what we've seen happen to the old man.
And don't forget that GER is semi automatic as well cz while beating diavolo ger stated that even giorno doesn't know its true ability
I've always wanted to see star platnium requiem or death 13 requiem
It’s not pol’s crippledness that makes him unworthy it is his resolve he has seen the power of the arrow and doesn’t want it to fall into the wrong hands and thinks he would get too drunk on power from it. Because of this fear he is unworthy.
I recently came from a video explaining Bites the dust, doesn't the fact that Kira used the arrow on himself (twice if I remember the vid correctly). doesn't that make Killer Queen a Requiem too?
No, only the scarab arrow is the one that can make a requiem stand, it's stated by polnareff, and Trish(kinda) in part 5.
GER: no
The universe: okay
The requiem arrow grants the user a stand designed whit the wishes of the user. Giorno wanted to stop/fight king cremson and he gaind GER which is a perfect counter for king cremson, in contrast Ponaref wanted to protect the stand arrow so he gaind a stand witch protects the arrow without the need of a stand user. If you look at it this way Killer Queen Bite the dust is a requiem stand becouse when Kira got poked white the arrow he was trying not get his
identity reweld so he got the ability to explode time to a previose spot when exposed.
The worthy situation mainly depends if you survive the arrow just look at koichi but also if you are not worth and just survive the arrow like koichi did it would come out in some incomplete form
Yes that's right, however it's also extremely dangerous due to the wound that it give out as well so for a person like Polnareff who should be easily quality for something like a normal arrow, the requiem arrow evolved his stand into a requiem stand and he couldn't control it
@@hainguyn948 requiem has different properties than a normal arrow even if it’s the same exact arrow
@@yousefkhouryduckman it's different than other arrow, or it is what we would called the complete arrow, the one that will be able to fulfill what the creator of the arrow want to achieve, to create a god (Gold Experience Requiem)
Hey here a fun fact the requiem arrow give you a power Perfect for the Situation you're in so I don't know what happened if you get the arrow out and put in back in later do you get the power you had before or a new
I think tusk act 4 can do something against GER because the power of 0 is more a concept of nothless and the infinite of tusk is a concept of fullness so maybe the universe goes blue screen.
Come to Brasil
It depends on how you look at infinity.
As a concept, or as a number.
As infinity times 0 is still 0
I would argue the point that it's based on pure circumstances. If Johnny hits Giorno gets hit by Act 4 due to not pulling off Requiem in time. Let's be fair Johnny can just nail bullet shoot the arrow out of Giorno's hand and since his hand got hit by the infinite energy he's gonna become pasta til death.
If Giorno pulls of GER and Johnny gets hit by giorno. It's basically a no rematch.
if giorno pulls off requiem against tusk act 4 i believe its a free win for giorno but if he doesnt pull it off in time well we know what would happend
Infinity will have no end, but have a start, simply put GER returns it to where Johnny never shot at him ever.
There are 2 stands that are probably capable of defeat Ger that come to my mind:
Bohemian Rhapsody: just create a character which story consist in canceling Ger abilitys or trap Giorno soul in a story, Ger probably cant reset to 0 bohemian rhapsody stories meanwhile Giornos body cannot use his stand if his soul is traped.
Underword: Similar case to bohemian rapsody, the events created by underword cannot be change and will happen no matter what, countering Ger reset to 0 ability.
Something a lot of people seem to get wrong is how the infinite death loop is started. Giorno doesn't have to kill someone to send them into a death loop, he only needs to hit them. Because we see at the end, diavolo survived the barrage, this is also backed up by Trish saying she can still feel his presence.
GER doesn't even need to hit them, they only need to be affected by RTZ
He just called sc's rapier a lance...
btw Diavolo did not stop dying at the end of the universe, or the end of 35 others for that matter.
the infinite death thing is reflects how brutal Giorno is and it is a metaphor for Diavolo as a character
And nah it wouldn't have stopped the reset since Pucci had no bearing over the events of part 5, so him not existing would not affect the events of parts 1-5
?

You forgot silver Chariot requiem, main ability the complete dominion over Souls
chariots theme slaps
what about gold experience's damage reflection ability
What if Giorno was up against Goku and Giorno had ge with the arrow in hand? What power would it pick to counter Goku?
giorno has a weakness, only one, just one, and that is...
*drumroll please*

GER can perform infinite death isn't a thing out of nowhere, GER ability is to decide when one start and end for every living being, so it went from easy to understand things like action, to ambiguous things like life and death
If GER uses reality warping to reset things back to 0 would that mean in situations that reality is destroyed would he be able to use the ability?
reality warpers can just overwrite back to 0 like how Dio Over Heaven did in the game. Pretty much a stronger reality bender.
