  • Shop everything mentioned in this video here: shoplist.us/co... and on GirlGetGlamorous.com 😊 This eyebrow tutorial has all of my best tips and tricks! This is everything that I wished I had known about filling in brows forever, complied in one video.
    Last year, I started growing my brows back in (you can see that video here: • How I Grew In My Eyebr... ) and they are really coming along!
    I do have a lot of sparse, patchy spots still though and this video shows how I do my best to make them even in size and coordinate with my much warmer hair color.
    I'm using a technique called "feather stroke" where I recreate individual brow hairs, drawing them in the same direction the naturally grow.
    This technique has worked really well for me, as my brows are naturally more cool and a shade deeper than my hair. The feather stroke has a more sheer finish than a traditional brow fill technique, where the whole eyebrow is drawn in.
    There are A TON of tips - 16 total - but it does move quickly and I go over everything again on the second side in real time(ish.)
    I hope you enjoy, please let me know if these tips work as well for you as they did for me. I'd love to hear what worked for you!
    Also, please feel free to ask any questions below. I know that it can actually be a bit difficult to see the brow strokes as they are pretty natural looking, so if something doesn't make sense (placement, direction of stroke, etc), ask away and I'll be happy to clarify!

      I was going to say that. It’s funny watching the younger ones talking about their facial issues. I never thought about wearing foundation in my 20’s. I’m not being mean because it’s all relative and I’m subscribed to quite a few.
      To summarize:
      Beautiful 20ish influencer: It covers my fine lines!
      Me in my 50’s: Hold my beer...

    This is the best tutorial for brows I've ever seen. I've never been able to get pomade to work for me, but the technique you used and the super detailed way you explained it makes me excited to try it again. Thank you!

    • @girlgetglamorous
      @girlgetglamorous  3 роки тому +3

      Thank you, Tracie! I felt the same way about pomades for so long. I realized 1: I was buying shades that were way too warm 2: was gripping the brush too close to the bristles and the pressure was making each stroke too dark and 3: I was using more product than I needed. It's crazy how just filling in the gaps makes such a big difference vs filling in the whole brow! I hope this works for you too, let me know!!

    I use the Mac Shape and Shade for the hair strokes - so much easier than pomades. Fail safe. Has a powder end (which I don’t use as I don’t like too filled in looking brows but at least it gives you an option). If you haven’t tried the Mac one please give it a go. I am on my third one. It just is fail safe, Quick. The brush never fails me. It’s Uber thin. I use stud (darkest? But I have very dark hair. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Great tips, especially about the trimming and the shaving around it with the face razor. I like the Surratt brow pomade but will look into the one you used. I spray the setting spray on my spoolie and brush it through at the end (if I have already done my eyes so my mascara doesn’t run and that works so well). Brilliant tutorial, thank you xc

      I LOVE MAC products and was looking into this pen. I've bought so many pens now and just can't find any with the same cool tone as the ABH Ash Brown. But I will check that out, thank you for the suggestion! How long do they last you before drying out? And will try the setting spray/spoolie as well. The Surratt is also a great brow pomade! I love this Laura Mercier one because hardly any product comes out on the brush. Which I know sounds weird, but I love that it doesn't overload brows with product, but deposits just enough to give brows texture and grip.

    I have to fill in about the same area as you, my right front is sparser than he left. It’s so easy for brows to become boxy or too dark, it happens fast too. I’ve learnt the hard way less is more.

    This is great!! I've been using a brow flick pen and I'm not sure I love it so I may give ABH a try ... I saw Ulta has a set right now that comes with the pomade, brush, and gel for $30!
    I got my eyebrows microbladed this year. I went 3 times, followed all aftercare and it didnt take.I'll try any brow hack I'm determined to have great brows!

    • @girlgetglamorous
      @girlgetglamorous  3 роки тому +1

      I have been testing a ton of brow pens as well, but sadly haven't been able to find one the same tone as the ABH Ash Brown shade, which is the best cool tone shade I've found. That is a bummer that the micro blading didn't take. I had that same problem with laser hair removal (so much $ wasted!). And yes, those sets are an amazing deal if they are in your shade!

      I found the key for me is really holding the brush on my brows for a few seconds after each stroke. I hope that makes sense. I’ll brush my brows up then hold the brush at the top, which gives the gel a little more time to set in place. Maybe this will work for you too! 🧡

    Tips on getting micro shading done? I love this tutorial, but I’m a mom of four toddlers and don’t have tons of time. Brows are my most frustrating part of the make up routine! What do we tell the brow specialist when forming our shape? Any tips whatsoever?

    • @girlgetglamorous
      @girlgetglamorous  3 роки тому +2

      Hi Lauren! I would dig through Instagram and find someone close to you whose work you love every single time. Then make a note of what you like about the brows: are they light/natural, or bold, defined, or natural color, etc? Do you like to see the skin through the brows, or a thicker color? The more details you can give a brow microblader about what you like and/or want to avoid, the easier it will be for them to create brows you are really happy with! And try to bring as many screenshots and even video if you can, this will really help them and you'll get what you want!

      Yes! I've actually been using the ZIIP for close to 2 years now and still love it. It totally changed my under eye area! Here is the updated video and comparison with NuFace | girlgetglamorous.com/ziip-beauty-vs-nuface-2020-comparison-honest-review-which-is-better/

    Great video. What about blonde (barely visible) eyebrows? I’m a strawberry blonde and have struggled over the years. Thanks.

      Hi Sharron! I would do all of the same tips/technique, just shifting the pomade color and tinted gel (if needed). If you brows are more cool, I'd stick with a taupe blonde pomade for recreating the brow hairs, if you have warmer tones brows, ABH caramel pomade is a great warm strawberry blonde shade.

    Molly, I am a natural strawberry blonde, but my brows are so blonde that you cannot see them. I never know how dark to take them to look more natural. What do you recommend? I am also very fair skinned. I feel like when I do a darker brow I look like I have caterpillars on my face. Haha!

    • @girlgetglamorous
      @girlgetglamorous  3 роки тому +1

      I totally get that! I feel like right after I color my hair, my brows always look a teeny bit too dark next to the vibrant red until I wash it once. ABH has a brow pencil in the shade "strawburn" that apparently is incredible for natural redheads. I trust their brow products a lot, so I think that could be a good one for you! I also feel like starting to fill the brows in at the arch has really helped me. I use so much less product this way and get more natural results vs when I used to start at the front of my brows then work back. Here is straw burn link | rstyle.me/+GrRO8kfAE0iX7zAndFOgXg

    I want to buy the thin brush. I clicked the link for the ABH brow brush but it’s not the same color brush you are using. I know the thicker brushes are the ABH wiz but what is the thin brush? Thanks

    • @girlgetglamorous
      @girlgetglamorous  3 роки тому

      Hi Whitney! The beautyblender is the thinnest, but the ABH 7B in really thin also. The one I was using was from dose of colors, which I didn't realize isn't made anymore. But the four listed are great brushes and the thinnest I've found on the market (I've tried SO many!). I hope this helps!

      Hi, Whitney! All the links are to the ultra thin brushes. The beautyblender is the most thin (in my opinion). I hope this helps! - Molly

      This one is definitely a bit more time intensive - 4 steps - for people with really sparse patches who want natural looking brows. I do have another tutorial coming soon for people with naturally fuller brows who might not need to create as many brow hair-like strokes. But I do hope this video helps people like me who have some patchiness or areas missing. 🧡
