I am looking to purchase a glider in copper, but I am going to be doing some forced patina and really looking to make the color pop. I currently have the pen in my cart(1 copper gilder and 1 red glider) but this comment is only for the copper variation. So I am wondering if it is possible to ship me a copper glider without any lock tite, I will be immediately taking the pen apart and removing any non copper materials so having to deal with the lock tite is an issue I would prefer to avoid. That’s unfortunate. I just got one in the mail yesterday and it’s entirely seamless at the bottom. I can see the seam by the clip, but I can’t see the “refill” seam at all on mine. It’s a great pen!

On the newer ones I can see the seem. This is the case on both examples I have. Not really an issue, but I take it that is standard now?

will the glider accept pilot precise refills?
