I find street running trains so fascinating. They look so out of place but so cool at the same time. I’m amazed at your knowledge of trains and tracks. Those old tracks and tie plates built in the 20s & 30s are still getting used today although in light service. Appreciate all you do JT. Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

That street runner crossing is pretty cool! I love how the track is sorta like a snake curve where it curves one direction then another curve! Thanks for the video Jawtooth
I don't comment much on your videos, Jawtooth, but they are always such a delight. It's a dream hobby, pursuing your passion, documenting important living history, presumably while having an independent source of income. .. I notice that there is a crossing gate for the road next to the trestle, but it never went down, nor is there any traffic control, the traffic lights remined green, for instance. I guess it truly is between the residents of Franklin and the driver of the train to sort things out.
Pretty cool JT, you take us to some unique places. Thank you for taking the time to do it. I love seeing the street runners, we don't have that in my state.
That shot of the locomotive coming over the bridge and out of the construction at 1.08 is really awesome. And the rest of the video. Thanks for my DDoT.
Thanks for watching! I also have another shot of that train showing it approaching. It came from a different camera that a friend of mine was using but our electric went out when I was working on the video and for some reason his video of the train disappeared. I will put that one in another video as an extra scene but it was cool also seeing it approaching the trestle going down the road
I love all your video's of this town! Its awesome everytime and always different! Daggon' man! I think that csx train was the longest train I've ever seen! Just remember, nothin' much turns into something interesting...👍👍👍👍
Thank you for documenting these trains, Jaw Tooth! The street running at Franklin, Ohio with a six-axle road engine was wonderful. The other trains were great catches too,
Hey JT, those traffic signals at the Jct.73 intersection were showing a GREEN traffic light when the train was approaching the intersection. Should have been RED instead. I guess the lights are not synchronized when a train is in the intersection. They should be to avoid a potential car accident.
Jawtooth You have filmed the street running location several times. Could film the industry it serves at the end of the line? You know me. I love switching and spotting cars! Thanks again!
Railroad running through the streets in the middle of town ~ GREAT capture on your part. Thanks for showing the date of origin as well - lines that are almost 100 years old but that remain a vital part of our economy and our lives. Speaking of 100, this video rates a 💯 for its content. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for placing on UA-cam. I am from St. Louis but spent a week each summer with my family living with my grandparents (my Dad's side) in Warren, Ohio from the 1950s until the mid 1970s when I got married. There was a street runningtrack there as well at the time. It seemed so unusual driving in our car alongside a train, and of course I was a kid who loved seeing trains.
Norfolk Southern 9691 returns @ 19'54" after the elevated John Deere tractor 🚜, we saw that loco street running earlier, love the scenery 😀 great place to visit during the southern hemisphere winter, if I was 20-30 years younger would love to alternate living for several months a year to avoid winter & have year round summer, take care J T.

Norfie definitely placing an order for food. That NS 9691 engine sure is kept busy doing short line work. It's neat seeing it come down that street running section of track. It gets pretty close to that one side of the street. I thought that the white Chevy panel van might get tapped by the loco for a second there. It looks like somebody uses the old train depot for some purpose. It looks like it's being kept up nicely. Great video ad always.
