Spritzing will keep the outside moist and prevent drying. Injecting is mostly for internal flavor. Getting a good cut of pork with intramuscular fat that will render down is where your moisture will come from. You could also try a water pan in your smoker to keep the humidity up.
@@justwinginitbbq316 I like going no wrap ribs and recently did a brisket that way. I spritzed and that seemed to help. I'll have to try not wrapping a pork butt again. Great informative video!

I've tried a couple no wrap pork butts before and the meat was dried out. Never real thought of injecting a pork butt or would spritzing help?
