Notice how Jordan said he was doing it for the fans and the city. The amount of players today who are just selfish and don't really care about the team, the fans or the city who gave them their opportunity. They only care about themselves
Exactly. Also notice how Jordan also didn’t say he was the greatest player ever when he was asked if he was. He said it’s hard to say that anyone is the greatest player
4:50 Probably MJ’s most underrated clutch shot. That’s a tough make, Vlade almost timed it perfectly with a near block. If the Bulls lose and go down 1-2, who knows what the outcome might have been. GOAT
Jordan felt that the Bulls 'gifted' LA Game 1. He said, he knew they were going to win the title because they did not play well and should have beaten LA in that first game. It's striking how confident he was, because he had never won a title, was now down 0-1 against a Magic Johnson led Laker team and he STILL was serious that the Bulls were going to win. He clearly saw what others didn't, because the Bulls then won the next 4 in a row and the title streak began.
Wow. That was a really cool video. Seeing “The Move” from a different angle was cool. But watching footage of the locker room after the game was amazing
If Paxson is given free reign to spot up from three the way players are today we are looking at an easy 12-17 point per game increase. Crazy how accurate he shot the ball
These guys spoke so openly, honestly and intelligently back then. Listen to current NBA guys speak and you’d think they are still in 4th grade learning basic sentence structure.
Pippen was rarely, if ever, clutch. For as great a player as he was, and having the reigns to a championship Bulls' team when Jordan first retired, he has not one game-winner that I can recall.
I'm as sick and tired of desperate and petty LBJ fans as anyone, but to say he's not Top 10 or even 15 is nothing but petty hate itself. You need to detach your dislike for the guy (and there's a LOT to dislike) and just objectively acknowledge what he's done. It's just not knowledgeable of the game to say he isn't Top 10 probably much higher. All that being said - the comparisons to Jordan or him being the GOAT were never more than sports media talk shows trying to push debate and stir ratings and it worked. While it was kind of unfair to LBJ, he just pulled too many stunts on and off the court to detract from how good a player he was. But he's earned the dislike so many fans have.
@@inallairness. Lol. Right. That was kind of weird. MJ’s draft might be the most famous of all time just because 2 teams passed up on him and he ended up becoming the greatest

Exactly why the ratings are dropping.
A lot of that is because those same fans and city will turn on you the minute you lose lol
And those greedy brats get all the money and they are still unhappy.
I remember every moment of this. What a great time to be alive!!
True story!!!
"it's hard to say the greatest player, I'm just proud smto day we're the greatest TEAM!!!"
The humility, unlike another 😅

Yeah Vlade also focked up MJ’s toe.

Amazing footage. I miss the Bulls Era Of Dominance. Everybody around the World was watching this Series

Momma knows... Momma always knows
The faith she had in her words gave me chills. It’s by no coincidence that he accomplished all that he did
His moms knew her boy would win more !!
Awesome video….more!
What an amazing upload. Thank you for taking the time to do it. A great series. They worked very hard to get to the top.
Great upload!
One of the greatest Game 1’s ever in the history of The NBA Finals
thank you for the upload, never seen before.
12:52 "Well it's hard to say anybody's the greatest player." -- Michael Jordan. Well, it was easy for Lebron to say he is the greatest.
15:45 A mother always knows their son ❤
Great footage thanks.
Imagine if he won his titles with social media and smartphones that was taken in the crowd.

nice footage
I wish the Lakers could have pulled out game #3 or #5 just so there could have been more games. Plus Worthy and Scott could have been healthy.
Shout out to jonh paxon he balled out in the 91-93
💯 % FACTS
9:14 I've heard a couple of Keith Washington songs. But since MJ said that's who he's listening to I'm gonna go through Keith's catalog.
Jordan look like singer - (Tyrese) in the thumbnail, lol

lebron fans you heard that michael jordan played in the finals game 4 with a hurt toe , and cut the shoe to relieve pressure ,
Paxton was draining the ish!!
Paxson was more clutch in that first three peat than pippen played with Jordan longer as well

lol anyone who thinks lebron is the goat. lebron is maybe not even top 10
He’s definitely not top 10. Dr J has him at #15 right behind Scottie Pippen
I agree 👍
Yes, with all things said and done LJ is a top 15 player at best. And if he was celebrated as such, he would be much more likeable and memorable.

Perhaps Sam Perkins’ only proof that he was rightfully picked over Michael Jordan in the 1984 draft.
But, he wasn't.

@@inallairness Sorry, I confused Sam Perkins (#4 pick) with Sam Bowie (#2 pick).
Sam Bowie was the #2 pick in the '84 draft. What you talkin' about Willis??
@@amerhamid7115 Sam Perkins was picked behind Jordan.
