- My first adventure into the Safari Zone for Safari Week 2024 became an exciting IRL with my other shiny hunting friends, and it was a journey to remember!!!! Lots of wins and fails, but amazing memories are what matter most! I can't wait for next year!! :D

My first-ever experience in Safari Week!! And it was an IRL with a bunch of other amazing shiny hunters?! I was insanely lucky too, it was unreal. Thanks to everyone for sticking around (for 4 months omg) and waiting for my next video to drop!!! Can't wait for the next adventure! 💖💖
Kotatsu went from being a background character in Absol's videos to her own protagonist in her own series. What character growth! And to simulate such loss and bear it all the same. Fantastic!
The craziest part of the character arc is the fact I used to just be an absolblogs viewer and then we met last year and the rest is history!! ^_^

I could never do what you guys do… mostly because I only just got my first full odds pre-Gen VI Shiny last night, but Shiny Hunting in the Safari Zone takes it to a whole other level. I would never want to see a Shiny in the Safari Zone in the first place with them being able to run. The fact that you got 10/37 Shiny encounters in the group is insane! Mad props to you. And what a legend @skyfishjack is for helping fix your old DS.
That whole drawn-out sequence with ‘Emotion’ in the background and the slow Oddish zoom-in got a proper cackle out of me. I had no idea Cal Zone endorsed eating Oddish, but if it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for me!

I used sky blue Rit Dye and the 20th Anniversary Mew plush, which is 100% Polyester *except* for the eyes!

Seeing you hunt in the zone for the first time reminds me of my first year back in 2021 I think. I failed my first shiny parasect around like 3k encounters and after that found golden eggs i caught after like 18k and even tho i didn’t want eggs I was still super excited and happy to have participated in safari week. Unfortunately this year I set up my games but genuinely didn’t want to play any games and still really haven’t since but it’s still nice to watch vids like this so maybe one day I’ll have enough inspiration to return
About halfway through that first Tauros encounter, I assumed that's what the next 50 minutes were going to be. It just KEPT watching carefully
