Tanner is the best. He is always having a great time and gives off good vibes. He should be in more videos.
Great to have Tanner around to provide a viewpoint from a rare enthusiast who isn't made of glass. Freischütz looks awesome!
It absolutely is
What do you mean made of glass? Some people do grey out on these rides. They can’t help it
HAHAH this made me laugh a lot because I agree. I get tired of hearing from various thoosies: "It rattled" "I got stapled" "It had a jolt" "it was too intense" 😄
@@nfcoasterfergit’s called giving their honest opinion. What’s your problem?
@@nancyfarkas3592 Good god lighten up. I was just giving my opinion too, like the original poster. Not everything has to be taken so seriously, sheesh
Wow didn't expect Sarah to have an amazing singing voice
and nice choice with the background music in just the right key as what she was singing
I really love these smaller parks in this season of coastin through Europe. They are so much more memorable to me than corporate parks so please keep going to them!!!!
Glad you liked it down here! Bayern Park is like an hour away from me and I just recently found out how much they grew over the years. Also: If you're ever coming back to bavaria, check the really, really small parks like Churpfalzpark, D'rodelbahn st. englmar, edelwies. Those cost like 20€ a full day, but you can sprint easily through 2 of them in a day and they're so much fun!
Same, been there like 3 times a year when I was a kid, really didn't expect that it grew so much, last time I was there was the year they opened the rafting.
Now they just need a small wooden coaster for a full lineup.
@@thelowpro6908 true, a wooden coaster would also fit the vibe perfectly
Yup done that need to get back they seem the have build some stuff since the last time i was there.
Tanners smile cures my depression
You missed to mention the most famous fact about Salzburg, which is that it is where Mozart was born. It is a beautiful city, I remember going there on a school trip back when I was in highschool. I was so drunk on this trip and I fell asleep on a bench in the park. It was awesome!
What a gorgeous, well-maintained, fun looking family park. Plus it's surrounded by beautiful lush green life and rolling farm fields, has nicely themed and creative queues, and a whole lot of great ride surprises up its sleeve on top of it. What's not to like, I want to go there. Thanks CS and friends!👍
It’s called an Alpine Slide. Old school style. Tons of them used to be made using fiberglass troughs! Some still exist. 🤓🤘
Yeah. This one is by Wiegand and features a stainless steel trough. Theyre ALL over europe, to some extent theyre even more common than mountain coasters over here.
The lack of ride operators might also be that common sense and respect are more ingrained in the culture? It is so interesting. Just like those BIG playground equipment areas in the parks. I would love to learn more about the culture of the countries you have visited in Europe. Pretty darn cool. What a great series you've put together! Must watch documentary!!!
Haha Taylor looked so out of it on Freischütz
I love these long format videos. yall should definitely do more of them.
When y'all get down to epic universe, its gotta be a two hour video at least.
i didnt expect sarah's singing voice to be so good
Tripsdrill had the exact same impression on me when I visited last year.
Driving through winding roads surrounded by trees and then BAM! Theme park right in front of you.
Also similarly to Bayern Park, a unique collection of rides, coasters and is very beautifully landscaped
Great video! Looked like a fun park!!!
I think the thing that makes the park quiet is that there’s no music blasting everywhere.
Nice change of pace indeed
Even as a south german i never visited Bayern Park. But now i want to go there.
Love to see you guys enjoying europe 😊
You haven't? Im dutch despite me name and its really a very charming park. Offcoarse if you more to the french side plenty of good/better alternatives.
Looks like a wonderful park! Great video, guys 😁
Amazing vlog guys !! You are by far the best theme park content creators when it comes to the footage you capture to the editing……Theme Park Worldwide 2.0 👌🏻
Freischutz coaster looked awesome! Beautiful shots of the town and Sarah singing the Soud of music 😎 Sarah I definitely think you should do musical theatre 💜
Always a smile on my face when a new cte episode comes out. Which has been your favorite park of the trip so far?
To be fair I absolutely love amusement parks that feature lots of green and woods, it creates such an unique and good atmosphere and is so beautiful. No wonder I think Animal Kingdom and Efteling are two of the most beautiful parks I've been to. Bayern Park looks like that as well! Great vlog!
Its a bit more limmited then those 2 parks but its a very nice charming underrated little park.
Some of us do like the rough and aggressive rides. Don't get me wrong I also Love the silky smooth rides as well...but a bit of a shock to the system is fantastic! Look at Tanners face after 6 runs!!! Love it! Beautiful park too!!!
Awesome job guys what a great video. Enjoyed it so much.😊🙌🏼💯 this park looks Refreshing and fun!
That frog hopper looks like you're supposed to be inside a kunstkammer. Very cool.
Wow, what a great singing voice!
Also the freischütz coaster is themed after an opera where you're the last bullet of a guy called freischütz killing the devil with it.
And after it got build it really ran 2 rounds for 1-2 years. so you did the whole track again, already greyd-out.
I really love this longer videos guys! Thanks for bringing this lesser-known parks to the channel
Wow what a beautiful park! I love your cinematography!
Adding this park to my to do list!
That Gerstlauer family coaster looks so small but fun!
The design is very clever and with all the forward and backward action it is much longer than just the track lenght.
10:29 that’s called “ocular pat-down” 😎
When I saw that you rode Freischutz in the teaser video I was looking forward to your review of Bayern Park. Love the natural feel of the park - laid back, no annoying pop music playing around the park, plenty of green space and trees - looks like a very nice place to kick back and relax.
Some of these European parks seem to put our American parks to shame in presentation and ambiance.
That family coaster looks more confusing than Gold Rush 😅
This fence is so sick! 😂
So Taylor likes sparkling water only if there’s sugar and dye added to it 😂
Plain sparkling water is tasteless.
@@nancyfarkas3592 it's water
So a nice park for small children. Quiet and so much to do for them.
I really enjoyed it as long as mine were younger.
You smiled the whole video. It made me smile as well. ❤
Bro coastin thru europe 3 did not need to got this hard
Tanner's comments about merch remind me of Ride to Happiness. Shirts were like twice as much as other European parks and none of them were great anyways. Ended up getting a fridge magnet instead.
Isn't that because Tomorrowland get a cut or something, it's still a horrific rip off mind
I actually live really near this park and it was interesting to see it explored by you :)
The palace you've seen in the beautiful boat ride which has a dark ride part in it, is actually a replica of Linderhof castle by the Bavarian king Ludwig II., who is also the guy who built Neuschwanstein castle! The "real" castles are further south next to the Austrian border. Moreover, if I'm not wrong, even all the castles that are pictured in the queue and station of the ride, are paintings of real existing castles and palaces.
I know it's cause Taylor filmed the POV but the continuity break at 27:05 of Sarah rolling into the station to be greeted by herself broke my brain for a few minutes there.
Yeah, I thought tthe same thing. We are riding with Sarah and there she is in the station. Even the audio with her giggle.
Nice to see that you have fun in germany ❤
Iam near from Skyline Park😅
Bayern Park is my 2nd Home Park and i have to say its very good, similar to fantasiana (my main home park) it easily is one of the best family owned parks. The Park is growing fast and getting more guests. Luckily they bought a maurer coaster which is so wrong, which is why it got popular. Buying 2 rides at gerstlauer was the best thing they could do :) btw 9:33 is the the spot of the old mountain coaster, which they took out for FirleFranz. Also Highlander was the inspo for their drop tower, they didnt go for the tilt feature, because they wanted to have the lap bars.
Oh god yeah youre right, so the toboggan run that they rode must be a newer one built to replace the old one. Thats actually really interesting, not even gonna lie.
@@drdewott9154 Actually they were built around the same time, it wasnt a replacement. They just had 2, so why not remove 1 and get a awesome family coaster
2:58 Fence Studios when?
As a person who has done both Freischütz and Hyperia.. Freischütz > Hyperia
Really nice park with well maintained and cute theming. It's always nice if a park can afford to have some quieter green areas to relax a little and provide shade in the summer. And FYI: Sparking water IS normal water.
That Barn Yard Shooter that is similar to Toy Story has I think a twin ride but on a track at Nagashima Spa Land. It is called Farm De Bang Bang and has the same carrot shooter.
14:24 Deadass thought Taylor was gonna pass out or puke or both lol
Totally nostalgic for me, was there a few times a year when i was a kid. My mom still has a picture of 3 year old me on the piggy ride that's seen in the beginning of the video. Didn't know they have that maurer coaster and that gerstlauer family coaster. last time I was there was in the year they opened the rafting ride.
So nice, that he rated Freischütz over Hyperia!
Wait...I live (and always have lived) only 1 hour away from that park but I've never been there even though I know the name. How was it under my radar for over 30 years? 😅
That Mauer is basically Ich305
Very entertaining vlog today. Love Salzburg, spent a nice weekend there in the 90’s, forgot to mention the home of Mozart too…
God I cant believe you havent done a Wiegand Tobbogan before! I love these things, theyre incredibly common across Europe, even more so than mountain coasters! There are several amusement parks in Europe with hilly terrain that have those. And many that have flat ground can still get the powered electric bobkarts. Like the ones at Schwaben park and Toverland. Skyline park actually used to have an electric bobkart but they removed it a few years ago.
Honestly that was the biggest surprise of the vlog. But apart from that, Bayern park looks like another really great small park, and just another good reason why parks with few roller coasters are so much more than they appear to be.
Excited for the Rulantica vlog!
Germany is definitely on my bucket list lol……looks amazing
Woooo! Operations music. What a throwback easter egg. 😅
As the coaster Freischütz opened they drove sometimes 2 rounds in a row. So instead of the breake they lounched you again through the trak. That was crazy 😂
God I love this channel 💪. You get to live all my dreams, and it makes me happy AF for you!
Bruh I don't know what I expected but not Sarah saying the last time she greyed out so hard was on I305 on a random bavarian Maurer wtf 😂
this looks awsome keep ip the great vids
Did you visit the Taunuspark near Frankfurt and Wiesbaden in Hessen. And there is a Fairytale park in Münsterland. In West Germany you should visit phantasialand if you haven't already, same goes for Movie Park
Okay so what is defined as a coaster according to a source which I very much trust, use and can agree to:
-it needs to ride on a track
-it needs to go down and be able to go up as well (gravity)
-powered coasters are the exception
-> small disco = not a coaster since it’s powered in a half-pipe
-> big disco is because it crests over a hill and could go without power down and still make it.
-> mountain coaster doesn’t go up, but that’s the nature of the ride (it couldn’t due to the fact there’s manual braking. Without it could). Still considered a coaster.
-> Intamin bobsleds use a a trough, so no tracks, but they go up to reach the breakruns. You could consider the trough for a track. Coaster
-> Wiegand bobsleds don’t go up, only down which makes it not a coaster.
-> some water rides have a (small) camel back after the big drop, which makes them a (water) coaster
-> butterflies are all about gravity, even though it’s a half pipe. You could see it as a shuttle coaster.
Hope this clears it up haha! :D
Lovely episode 😊
Tanner Tucker is my spirit animal
Ok auf nach Bayern.
29:57 my favorite part
What an adventure. The park is a 2 day excursion.
i live there... they have a freefall tower now and i surley have to go again... last time was more than 5 years ago and so much has changed
I visited that fortress in Salzbug when I went there with AMA in 2013
Sarah! Sing more!!!
Once I road a Toboggan in Switzerland and went too fast and fell out 🥲
21:25 "still" should be non sparkling though. But it's mineral water (so directly from a natural well somewhere) and they sometimes naturally come with a tiny bit of "fizz".
And btw: Still water is not a drink meant for human consumption. That's for washing and cleaning. Only time I ever drink still water, is when I to have get medicine down 😛But then, I am German, so it seems to be conditioning from an early age.
And judging by the way that park looked: Their painter team and their gardening crew deserve a raise.
You can tip over on those alpine coasters in troughs. Trust me it hurts. 🤪
Not really a destination park but very nice and charming and worth a visite if the detour isn't to long or if you wanna do it in a coaster tripp. Defently have to get back into that corner of Germany been there last time in 2021.
And yes i don't understand why those "rodel" coasters aren't in the RCDB either They do get in the powered variant????
Now i'm wondering if you gonna do plohnpark and belantis. Looks like you are going to the opposite direction.
Same waiting music as Airtime Thrills !
You guys remember the scene in the Hangover when Alan is doing the math in his head and all of the symbols are flying by? That's how I felt trying to figure out that kids coaster
The zierer tivoli family coaster you went on is a clone of green scream at adventure island in the U.K. Till now I thought it was an original layout but obviously not 😂
The whole not checking the restraint thing really bothered me when I went becuase I was like 13 and went on a spinning ride but it was a little more intense and my lap bar wasn’t locked in so the whole time I was holding on to said lap bar and my actual seat and was geniunely so scared and it has really scared me for the rest of my life I am constantly very untrusting of restraints now and will find something else to hold onto sometimes but anyways really cute park but the staff never checked restraints and it was really scary
I think the manufacturer of the rapid river is Bear Rides
Bayern Park is “only” 9 hours away from where I live and I never considered visiting it. You kinda changed my mind here! That said, I still think a 9 hour drive is too much for what the park is. And all the parks that are en route to it are either also not worth it or I’ve visited them recently already. Maybe one day I’ll fly to Munich or something, rent a car and visit the surrounding parks. You guys at least made think twice about visiting Bayern.
This park needs like three gigs coasters
Fantastic Vlog! The only thing I found disappointing was the part where the kids coaster went unchecked to make sure the lap bars were secured, before dispatching the train. That's a SERIOUS concern. France probably as a whole has strict safety standards that all parks must adhere to....right...RIGHT?!
freischütz means free shooter
Alpine slide!!!!
👏👏Oh my gosh Sarah’s voice
Taylor attempting to pronounce German words is really amusing 😂
Having your restraint unchecked feels so weird. I went to a water park in Portugal and they had a clone of Poseidon ar Europa Park. Only about half the restraints were checked
Taylor’s right sparkling water is nasty
'still' water means not carbonated at all, it must have been bottled wrong or something. you should be safe to buy still water in germany and be happy Taylor :)
cool
I don't know how long you stay in Europe, but do you also come to the Efteling for Danse Macabré??
We unfortunately are missing it
Was the a curve there? You know, a Bayern Curve?
Sarah meant to say the park was very Demure
I saw Mozarts birthplace and rode up that vernacular and visited that fortress with my family in 1992.
Ok, that is weird, still water should always be without bubbles, maybe the lable was wrong and it is medium water
Hey Taylor, what theme parks did you visit in between Coastin' Thru Europe S3 and Coastin' Thru Asia S1?
California's Great America and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. We hope to have those vlogs uploaded and posted within the next 2 weeks.
I love my Homepark „Bayern Park“ 🤩
I honestly love how they visually check the restraints, saves so much time and you won't get stapled.
Are you nuts?
@Brian-qn7fn No, I'm normal. It's perfectly safe not to check restraints by touching each one, especially considering half the people that do in America barely even check them. The computer system alone that knows your restraint is locked is good enough.
@@maxhagenauer24You do realize there are accidents happened before which could have been prevented by a push and pull test?
@revofreak1993 Very very few, so few that it's still not even worth it considering how much longer it takes, the more employees you need, and that you may get stapled a small amount of the time.
