I met another INFP who was always lingering around me and so I started to ask her questions about her life and she opened up her heart to me which in turn caused me to open up to her and now we are closer to one another unlike any other personality type. The level of understanding and tolerance for one another has no greater equal. We enjoy our company very much and we get along very well. I can't imagine being with a different personality type. It is so good.
I'm an infp and have been dating an infj for almost six years. We actually didn't know our types till 5 years later. But I think what's important for an infp in a relationship is we want to be understood and so does the infj and we give this to each other. I’m an INFP and I actually did date an ISTP for a few years, but it was a weird situation. He was going through a divorce and I was kinda running away from home. Also, he was much older than me (I was 20). We found what we each needed for a time. But needless to say, it wasn’t a normal relationship. At least he taught me some basic life skills, which was much needed. It all happened a long time ago. Like I said, a totally weird situation. If I'm actually an ENFJ, well, I generally have NO PROBLEM figuring out what I'm going to order. The only thing is... I say to my husband at dinner "what are you ordering?" Only because I know he doesn't like it when we order the same thing! So I try to watch out for that. I say "I was thinking of getting X". If he says "I was thinking of that too", then we will negotiate what we decide to get. This so we can "share" a little bit off our plates to enjoy different things on the menu! This doesn't always happen. Just sometimes. So... That IS or ISN'T an ENFJ thing??

I'm an INFP. I have lived with a ESTJ roommate/friend for several years and I've had a ESTJ supervisor for 8 years and let me tell you in both situations it was hell. In both cases I end up running away at the end and I honestly hope I will never ever have to be in a close relationship with another ESTJ. Surprisingly my partner is a ISTP. We have been in a relationship for 11 years. He does criticise me almost every day but he also complements me everyday and he gives me more rational way of thinking when I get too emotional and he gives me the freedom I need. I don't really know any ENTJ or INFJ/ENFJ/ENFPs that I'm aware of to comment on it.

As an ENFJ I can say at least for myself, I am perfectly capable of ordering food for myself 😂 I have a harder time making decisions with bigger life decisions due to trauma, however I’m working through those traumas and will be able to make decisions myself :) if I were with someone however, I would want us to make big decisions together, and since he’s the man I would look to him to lead and make the deciding decision. However simple things such as ordering food at a restaurant? I’m not going to have a meltdown over it nor order the same thing as him 😂 I like my food too much 🤣 He can order what he wants and I’ll order what I want 🤷🏻♀️ if he wants to share, awesome sauce 👍🏻 if not I’m perfectly fine with my own food 😁

Infp here. I dont know why but i am naturally attracted to entjs. Maybe because their Inferior Fi is a good place for our auxiliary Ne to go and see what is happening. I know no type likes people to look at their inferior function But from my personal experience, entjs do opens up if you just tolerate their aggressive behavior, show your emotional side to the world and still be confident about it. Their big Te is also very attractive for us since we value it but dont really know how to use it. Actually it is true. Because Infp is so complicated. Have tried dating many type including enfj, infj, istp, enfp so many. Istp one is totally authentic like us but in a better way. Aloof, cold dont really care about others but also kind hearted. They teach us so many things but they are also stubborn. They are action oriented people and also a sweetheart. True to themselves and teach us to be more realistic like them. It is like yin and yang combination. Enfj type ive dated before want to change us but we cannot be changed actually. We are who we are but istp is actually teaching us to be ourselves. But they are good listeners, always helping us, and also want to change us 🤣 Infj is also great when I dated this type. We have the same sense of humor, give each other comfort but at the end of the day, they are so indecisive and want us to make all of the decisions. They don't know what they want and want us to initiate all of the effort in relationship . For Enfp, they actually quite the same as our type. Maybe becoming friend might me okay. When we get into relationship, we are both not attracting each other due sharing the same values. Infp will become boring and end the relationship.
Falling into passionate love is fantastic, fabulous, and energetic for this INFP............but sooner or later they are not the most magnificent being they seemed to be..... I don't understand the purpose of this video. It's misleading. On the one hand you title the video INFPs perfect match and then expound on the best three compatible types for INFPs and on the other hand after the roundup, you state there is no perfect match, no formula etc. Why not put this disclaimer upfront and present your views acknowledging this is just your hypothesis. Instead, there is an air of snarky confidence; "I am holier than thou and I know better." Even your reasons for eliminating a type seem immature. Don't go for ENFJs because they don't know what to order in restaurants! Any discussion about compatability should add nuance and seriousness.

I agree. Life experiences mold an individuals personality as well and that is why every person is unique no matter what their personality type is.
But MBTI is a great start to understand human temperment.

Infj is also great when I dated this type. We have the same sense of humor, give each other comfort but at the end of the day, they are so indecisive and want us to make all of the decisions. They don't know what they want and want us to initiate all of the effort in relationship .
For Enfp, they actually quite the same as our type. Maybe becoming friend might me okay. When we get into relationship, we are both not attracting each other due sharing the same values. Infp will become boring and end the relationship.

Falling into passionate love is fantastic, fabulous, and energetic for this INFP............but sooner or later they are not the most magnificent being they seemed to be..... No, then it would be an overload with another INFP, need balance. INFPS are very emotional, best match would be someone more emotional grounded and less emotional. To act like an anchor. So i dont agree with this as being the best match.

Actually I was about to say that at the moment I'm not looking for a relationship, because it doesn't make sense to me having a partner and be aware that being in it engage me to act in some particular way and after all always appears some problems or differences, especially know that what we call ''love'' is just attraction and a try to accomplish with biological aim and we're not usually conscious about it.

I don't understand the purpose of this video. It's misleading. On the one hand you title the video INFPs perfect match and then expound on the best three compatible types for INFPs and on the other hand after the roundup, you state there is no perfect match, no formula etc. Why not put this disclaimer upfront and present your views acknowledging this is just your hypothesis. Instead, there is an air of snarky confidence; "I am holier than thou and I know better." Even your reasons for eliminating a type seem immature. Don't go for ENFJs because they don't know what to order in restaurants! Any discussion about compatability should add nuance and seriousness.
the 'snarky confidence' is actually sarcasm. he is saying how all the types he mentioned probably wouldn't be best matches for an infp
