@Paul Whiting. Fair enough, but if Darrel had started in the 1950s, do you think he would have stayed the same? When you're involved in a business which is your living, you have to keep up with the latest trends, especially in the genre of rock n pop. There aren't many of the original '50s rockers who just carried on exclusively singing and recording 1950s rock n roll. Nowadays the music has come of age, so there's a scene that supports it.
@@joeblack8915 I see what your saying Joe but the singers that were Rockabilly in the 50's pretty much all of them went on to singing Country which is very close to being Rockabilly any way When I went to watch Darrels ex Imelda she didnt sing one Rockabilly song and sang a load of modern rubbish and then near the end of the "show" had the nerve to say she will never forget her Rockabilly roots Thats when me and my wife walked out feeling totally cheated. Rockabilly fans got Imelda to where she was but she soon dropped them didnt she and where is she now? Havent heard a thing about her since.
