The finale was so beautiful, visually speaking and seeing the Enterprise in battle alongside Discovery was incredible.
This star trek tribute came around after wanting to do a tribute of sorts to the finale, I wanted to play with the amazing visuals and try and get the story of the battle in. It's mostly focussing on the Enterprise during the fight for the future. As usual, Captain Pike was my favourite character.

We all do and because of that they've decided to make a new Star Trek Enterprise series starring this Pike, Spock and No. 1! Yay
Kalyptic whoooop whooop
This scene alone is making me wish l had ignored this shows detractors and had taken the time to watch it.
I watched from day 1, enjoyed every inch of the hate that was thrown at me, every rumor of cancellation, every boneheaded "shitty plot leak" video here on youtube, all while enjoying star trek week to week for the first time since enterprise went off the air. All Access offers a FREE ONE WEEK TRIAL. Sign up, binge the show (its less than 30 episodes total) and cancel. My dad did that and enjoyed both seasons and never paid a dime.
I enjoyed it, but I watched it on Netflix instead (not from the US so CBS is not a thing) so I can watch it at any time, I’ve probably watched it 3 times over and it was the thing that actually got me into Star Trek, and here I am binging the next generation and loving every second.
I like the show a lot - I love that it’s different - something we haven’t seen before - for me it’s been the best Trek show overall since DS9
I’m looking forward to Season 3 - the great unknown - that at its core is what Star Trek should always strive to explore
As for the naysayers - haters gonna hate!

The haters (not simply people who don't like the show but don't shove it in others' faces) generally have an unjustifiable reason for their attitude. An element of sexism, prejudice against gay or trans people, an outdated desire to return to 1990's television conventions. They try to couch it in objective terms such as bad acting, or plot holes, Orwell being better (which should not bear on the evaluation of the show on its own terms) but it usually falls apart under intelligent inquiry.

For me Such Sweet Sorrow was the only part when i can say this was Star Trek once we get to see the Enterprise with NO1 and Pike on board and then right and the end when Spock went onboard this was done to perfection for a modern star trek show we have ever had since the original classic tv shows and i cant wait to see Strange New Worlds the very first true Star Trek show and it took them this LONG to make it lol and Anson Mount play piked so well along with Rebecca Romjin as NO1 at his side this is going to be just a fantastic show providing were going to get a better written story's to go with it and maybe a start to a movie just like how TNG did when they finished doing there tv shows season's and to rap it all up the last movie would be handing the Enterprise to Kirk himself but if they went and done this in there last season episode it means they wont be doing any new movie's for this show.
STD gets a some hate but I found it interesting and it gave us trek fans the gift of Captain Pike and crew! 🖖🏿
