The Isuzu S-cab makes more sense. It comes cheaper. Looks same, even Isuzu dealers are arranging for private buyers. The only difference between S-cab and Hi-lander is that top speed is limited to 80 km and it has no air bags , for this the price difference is more than 6-8 lacs OTR.
NO..The biggest difference is the engine, in s cab its 2.5 while in hi lander it's 1.9ddi which is far superior n modern...hi lander n v cross shares the sand engine...the s cab comes with the same engine as bs4 but with bs6 it comes with VGT...so hilander body same like s cab hi ride..
can I get the s cab privately registered? The rest of their pickups seem overpriced and underwhelming.

The New BS6 Phase 2 Onroad Navi Mumbai is 25 Lakhs and still No Audio System, Bed Liner, LED, or any feature 4X2, A few Years ago they were Selling the VCross 4x4 Top of the line for 18 Lakhs which is now 35 Lakhs On road
It's well overpriced for 24 lakhs and not having any features but the ruggedness and toughness of a pick-up truck is second to none.

If govt. don't tax it at 50% the price would have been reasonable. If ground clearance is more than 170mm, it's considered SUV and viola! 50% tax!!. Basically govt. is trying to tax people for giving bad roads.
Isuzu is offering discounts but still this is overpriced. And as per car dealers it won't have good resale in future.
It's totally not understandable to think that sub 5 lakh cars come with average infotainment system.... This being a ex showroom 19 lakh ...and on road close to 23 lakhs ... Is so low on features....... I am crazy about pick ups ..... But there aren't many options...withing 15-20 lakhs..... I dont know why ... Companies aren't working on this ? ...... They think ....people don't like pick ups .... But we Indians do. I am family man . And i would buy a pick up instead of suv . But i am out of options .
