@r laze It is a pastry stuffed with meat, potatoes and herbs. Cornish miners who settled in the area brought various pasty recipes from the old country and it became popular locally.
It sure was clear that day, iamrichrocker. And I have been back to that location several times since. A metal detector is on my wish list. I can't imagine what I would find. Thanks for checking out my video.

I can't believe how clean your items are compared to mine. Maybe if I search the clear lakes we have here in Central Oregon, but I'm finding the good stuff is in the murky waters with less than 6 feet of visibility. Quite a find on those bikes. 😍
Those bike we're probably only in the water a couple weeks. We dive there several times per season. If you look at part three, you'll see one covered with silt that I suspect was in the water for a few months. But by all means, check out your inland lakes 👌
The first bike, the white one, was too far gone. The purple bike at the end of the video, you know, the one in the thumbnail, I still have it. Thanks for your comment.
😆Lake Superior is actually really clean. There were a lot more tires there than bikes but we've been removing them and cleaning that area u0 nicely 👍Thanks for watching.
I believe it. It was a warm summer and most of the fish went deeper in the lake to stay cool. However, check out some of my other videos. There are fish there for sure.
Yes, the fish like it cooler. People still dive here, but the shallow lake and the sediment stirs up quickly. Zebra mussels cleared the water alot, but they bring their own kind of problems. I'll check your other videos. This first one was very interesting. 👍
@@sjoeld57 glad you liked it and I agree with everything you said. Zebras & Quuagas have cleaned up the GLs some. It's especially noticeable in Lake Mi. Thanks for checking out my videos. Are you a diver?
No, I'm not a diver. I was a park ranger and my boss was a diver. I've always been interested, but I never pursued it. I'll settle for watching your videos. Those are nice bottles. Looks like they were thrown in yesterday!
Hey Rich banta, I uploaded this video a year ago and I really don't know much about the thing other than what's been posted here. I'd rather keep it intact than part it out. Thanks for watching.
at the bottom so very clean .. if only in MUSI river in Indonesia like that. maybe i can get a lot of gold and historical relics. the people there once got a golden statue in the river
Hey Kruk, thanks for checking in. At least you have a chance for finding gold. The water is so cold here people rarely swim here. Good luck hunting and thanks for watching and your comment!
Don Fassbender,Ohh ya,, but rivers in Indonesia are very rarely cold like that. once the river MUSI used the kingdom there as a transportation route and you can see it on google. so,, thanks for ur responsed
There are a lot of photos online and yes, the water looks brown. There is a lot of history there too. Check out some of my other videos. Good clear water 😃
Check the water off Wanabo road. I took my friends bike (10 speed) down that hill. Went through a party and over the cliff into Superior.. Never got the bike out.. lol
In Washburn, Dano R? I'm in Michigan but I am familiar with the hills near there. Some are pretty scary. You should take up Scuba and find all the local treasures!
Very deep and dark indeed. The deepest point is 1333'. There probably isn't anything more there than rocks but yeah, it would be very neat to visit. Not on Scuba though. You'd need a sub or a drone. Are you local?
Thanks. I plan to do videos showing how I disassemble these old regulators (antiques) and put in new(er) parts to use them safely. Does that sound like something people would be interested in? Just looking for ideas to grow my channel as winter is coming and diving seriously slows down here in the winter.
You found yourself a wishing well down there lots of coins, Great choice of music. You had enough people up top to take the bikes off your hands. HH Brad I,m view 3,741,496 :-)
That's a nice number, TA! I still can't believe this video went crazy like it did. Not complaining, mind you. Just wish some of my others would take off too. This one may be the standard by which my others are compared. It was awesome to look up and see all those folks watching me. It would have been a struggle getting it out of the lake alone. I still have that bike!
Lol you never know what you'll find at bottom of the sea (or this case, a lake). I had to wonder how those bikes got there at first but then I realized likely got thrown in by siblings. I'd love to scuba dive someday but sadly with my ear drum problems (i think itd be water itself, not neccesery pressure), it like won't happen. I heard there are helmets/masks that would cover my ears but cost a arm and a leg.
Every year more bikes and things show up at this harbor. We've found picnic tables, construction barrels and all kinds of odd things thrown in the lake. Never a dull moment. Sorry to hear about your ear problems. I don't know what I'd do if I could not dive. Perhaps a Dr. familiar with diving can offer you another opinion. Good luck!
I dove on many Great Lakes shipwrecks in Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Too many to mention in fact. I have also been on the USCGC Duane and the USS Spiegel Grove in the Keys, as well as the aircraft carrier Oriskany in Pensacola, Florida. Unfortunately I didn't own my Gopro back then. I have not dove the Essex. My shipwreck dive bucket list includes MANY wrecks. Thanks for checking out my video.
I really enjoy your videos! I was amazed when you only had 550! I totally thought you would have like 200k. You'll be the next big fixing youtuber I know it. Keep up the good work and you'll be there in no time :)
Jack budd I didn't realise it would be so popular. I went back to the same location to look for more stuff and did find 4 fold up chairs that were tossed in. I took them out but the visibility was terrible so I doubt I'll post it. Thanks for watching, there will be more.
Jack budd it's been 6 months and the subs are numbered in the thousands now. Never thought they would but we'll see what the amount to in another 6 months. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
I have a scuba tank - its one of a kind from the 60's. and the original mask, double hose regulator all in working and useable condition. the tank never used gauges, instead, it has a alarm built into the tank. when the tank psi drop to 500, when you would inhale, a hammer would hit the inside of the tank. I did the research on the tank and it is only one left, according to dacor and u.s. diver. the rest were probably scraped because of the indentation left from the hammer on the inside of the tank. I had a visual inspection done on it about 15 years ago and the tank is very clean but, they would not certify it. so, I have 600 +- psi of clean dry air in it.
That's an awesome story! The tank banger is built into the valve and Sitka Dave has a few I believe. They turn up from time to time on fleebay but because they're so old I doubt they can be rebuilt. Sounds like a great kit. I suspect that the hydro facility you brought it to is reluctant to hydro it because of the visual they performed on your tank. If the didn't x out the numbers, I would bring it to another facility to see if they would hydro it. You might even want to take the valve off first. If they too are reluctant but do not condemn the tank, you can ask for a hydro without their stamp. They can perform the test without approving it for use with their official stamp. That will give you an idea of the integrity of the tank. Good luck brother!
That late in the year they seek deeper, cooler water. By August the waters in the bay get close to 60 degrees and they don't like it that warm. Thanks for checking out my video! I'm doing a giveaway of a similar reg to the one used in this video so be sure to check out my newer videos.
Don Fassbender very cool what mill suit did you dive and what month was this curious I would love to dive duluth some time with a metal detector seems like a lot of treasures to be had?!
Ryan Scuba Rhino I'm sure there is. I was wearing a 3mm in August. The water is warm enough in a protected Harbor like this one in Mqt. Not sure about Duluth but I bet it would be similar.
A couple questions that are a probably a mystery but how long has some of those tires been under water. I seen one in the distance that was almost buried in the dirt. And how did the parking blocks get there. Those are too heavy to throw. Great video!
Thanks, Pranks313. Glad you liked the video. The tires acted as bumpers for the boats that moor there and occasionally fall off only to be rescued at a later date. The concrete bumpers? I don't exactly remember when rhey appeared. They may have been part of a prank or an extremely careless snowplow driver may have pushed it in that general direction if not all the way in. Thanks for checking out my video and taking time to comment.
No sweat, Pranks313. If you live near a large body of water you take things like that for granted. Of course, not all docks use them but if there are larger boats using the mooring they're common.
Yes, of course. Its been cruising up and down my block ever since. The neighborhood kids love it when no one claims the treasures I find. Mind you, I tried. Turns out it was up the road from this location with a "Free" sign on it and one of the local university students decided to give it a new home in the lake. I disagreed :)
You know I never thought to sell it. It had rust on the sprocket, chain and forks. I think the neighbor kid sold it so I'm not sure it's worth too much right now, but I'll keep that in mind as I'm always pulling bikes and things out of the lake.
Not this dive, Richard. Check out a couple of my other videos. I have a few in that spot where there's tons of crayfish and some others nearby where you can see bass or trout.
Ive seen tone of Gopro videos where divers find Smart Phones but not too many showing these older style phones. Wonder why? Anyway, if Bryson was in Marquette, this could be his...
Yeah, I realize that now. I was so green when I recorded this that I didn't even know there was such a thing as a UA-cam treasure dive. My more recent videos do have wrap ups 👍 Thanks for watching!
Looking to dive the Marquette area. Shore dives, wrecks, anything. Can you point me to anyone in the area that give me some ideas? I've been all over the area camping and hiking but never dove and really want to. Presque Isle seems like fun. Help....
Sure, Rob. i assume you live in Marquette (or nearby). Because the lake bottom is so shallow near Marquette, the wrecks are more like debris fields due to wave action and ice damage. But shore diving can be fun. message me again come spring and we'll talk. I know several other divers who can dive if I'm not available.
Diving season is approaching once again. I have been diving a couple times already, and cannot wait for warmer weather. Check this video out: ua-cam.com/video/5CiE8mANnD4/v-deo.html
How long does alcohol stay in your system? I'm still half drunk from last night, not sure how i made it to work. I went to bed at 8 PM got up at 5 AM. But I still feel drunk.
Now if you live near lake superior you know the storms cause the waves on the northern side of the lake to go over the giant cliffs an flood the highway and roads. To big to believe on that side of the lake bigger then Wisconsin and any other area of the country.
The waves can be incredibly large on the South side of the lake too. I recently dove in an area called Black Rocks where a several ton boulder was moved and became wedged under a section of rock that was about 20'. This boulder is huge and I would never have expected this because the area it was moved to was an undercut and it looked like a giant just smashed it in place I'm going to include this in a future video. I have several videos showing this undercut before so I'm sure folks will appreciate the power of the lake a little but more when they see this. Thanks for your comments.

New subscriber here. I am in Michigan (S.E.) do you have an underwater metal detector? That would be more awesome. I have land detectors but, watch many underwater detectorists. Thank God you didn't use heavy metal or punk music in your video. Very relaxing viewing.......Larry
Larry Ciarrocchi I do not have an underwater metal detector. The bottom in this Harbor is silt and very deep. trying to search beneath the silt would reduce visibility to near zero so I wouldn't recommend one for this sight. there are other areas around here that I would like to try detecting though. Stay tuned and thank you for checking out my video.
I'm thinking about starting a crowdfunding page (like Patreon) to help acquire one to use in future videos. Think that may be a viable option? I'm on the fence about it. What do you think?

I live in negaunee and shoot Pre Charged Pneumatic air rifles, and have often wanted to purchase a tank to fill my rifles. But I didnt think we had a place close by, I could bring them too. Thanks a bunch and great video. Cool to see you saving lost treasures. ;)
I send my tanks with Dylan from City Sales in Iron Mtn 906-774-3555. They come through Mqt once a week and will pick up and deliver tanks on Thursday. I have sold a couple tanks to a fellow who uses the Benjamin Pioneer airbow. I could get you a reasonable tank or two too if you like.

Thank you, Luciano Caloi. I'm glad you liked the video.
Love the music!😂😉😉
Glad you liked it, Parkourmaster. Thanks for checking in and please consider subscribing so you'll know when more videos are uploaded.
Michigan eh?
Ya eh, Jay Lonz. You a michigander too?
Love the music.
Thank you!
do you ever think about the deepest depths of superior? wonder what it's like down 1200 feet, other than dark and cold of course.
Very deep and dark indeed. The deepest point is 1333'. There probably isn't anything more there than rocks but yeah, it would be very neat to visit. Not on Scuba though. You'd need a sub or a drone. Are you local?
Sweet old gear 👍
Good luck!
Great video love the music
Thank you! Did you see the second bike at the end?
2:46 anyone else see that lobster skeleton?
We do have a lot of Crawfish in Lake Superior. But no lobster unfortunately.
Clover Mint I
Clover Mint was
that was a crab
Erica Zamora no, it was a crawfish
Have you seen the wreack of USS Essex or the other wreacks of the great lakes?
I hope you are still checking out my videos. ua-cam.com/video/5CiE8mANnD4/v-deo.html
Just over 10,000. I'm trying, Jack. The struggle is real 😎
Good luck brother!
epic vid bro I loved it
Good to hear! Thanks for checking out my video
Nice work
Thanks, blue the fox. Glad you liked it.
Great video, but where are all the fish?
That late in the year they seek deeper, cooler water. By August the waters in the bay get close to 60 degrees and they don't like it that warm. Thanks for checking out my video! I'm doing a giveaway of a similar reg to the one used in this video so be sure to check out my newer videos.

Thanks for the compliment and good luck on your channel. Its a fun ride!
Looks like you got your channel up and running. Congrats 👍
I already found a crashed Messerschmidt from WW2 in a german lake... Its kinda scary how many (old) things are still in some lakes
What's a Messerschmidt
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German World War II fighter plane.
Not only that Messerschmidt buildt the first jet engine plane.
Don Fassbender hey that bullet necklace thing could i have maybe i really interested in it
Cat Fish what bullet necklace thing? tell me what time in minutes and seconds that you see it in the video.
Great vid what area of duluth?
Thanks, Ryan Scuba Rhino. I'm glad you like the video but I'm actually two states over in Marquette Michigan.

Don Fassbender wow I feel dumb. I forgot they use tires for that purpose.
No sweat, Pranks313. If you live near a large body of water you take things like that for granted. Of course, not all docks use them but if there are larger boats using the mooring they're common.
yo did you get the stingray chopper out of the water
Yes, of course. Its been cruising up and down my block ever since. The neighborhood kids love it when no one claims the treasures I find. Mind you, I tried. Turns out it was up the road from this location with a "Free" sign on it and one of the local university students decided to give it a new home in the lake. I disagreed :)
Donko2 I was just going to ask how much you wanted for it
You know I never thought to sell it. It had rust on the sprocket, chain and forks. I think the neighbor kid sold it so I'm not sure it's worth too much right now, but I'll keep that in mind as I'm always pulling bikes and things out of the lake.
Donko2 ok
Donko2 ok
did you see any other living thing down there?
Not this dive, Richard. Check out a couple of my other videos. I have a few in that spot where there's tons of crayfish and some others nearby where you can see bass or trout.
This is super cool I subscribed and turned on notifications bro love the vids and keep up the good work
Thanks, FAZE VLOGS! Glad you like the videos. I can't go diving everyday but when I do my Gopro is there. More to come!
Don, i can walk to lake superior from my house, were you on the park point side/duluth side of lake superior or somewhere else?
Also i think that might be my friend brysons phone he had one just like that and he got a new phone so he threw his in the lake.
Actually I'm in Michigan. Ever been to the UP? The diving in the video is Marquette's lower harbor area. Thanks for checking out my video.
Ive seen tone of Gopro videos where divers find Smart Phones but not too many showing these older style phones. Wonder why? Anyway, if Bryson was in Marquette, this could be his...
Yeah he just moved about 3 months ago and he sent me a video of him throwing it and his parents yelling at him xD
i like the music

Well i only snorkel its pretty fun
You should come here and Dive in the Philippines..its a very beautiful place for diving

Cool video! Did u give the bikes any lube or fresh grease?
Yes sir! Just before I let the neighbors kids take them. They still enjoy the chopper. Thanks for checking out my videos.
Don Fassbender-No problem! Neat vid, but got one more question... How'd u get that heavy ass chopper outta the water?
I just swam with it. Not too bad at the surface I just inflated my Dacor CVS Nautilus which offers plenty of buoyancy.
Why didn't he get the scooter and the frizbee?
I went back for them. Thanks for watching.
I did. On the way back. I need to exit the water back where I went in and I just didn't record the return route.
Don do you still have the scooter? i had one just like it, same deck just diffrent bars
bigblob97 gg I gave it to my neighbors son. He still uses it a year later and swears it's a nice one. Thanks for checking out my video.
How long does alcohol stay in your system? I'm still half drunk from last night, not sure how i made it to work. I went to bed at 8 PM got up at 5 AM. But I still feel drunk.

was that yellow thing the drain plug?
Lol, that can off a big boat. It's used to tie lines to the shore.
That was a pretty funny answer. It probably weighs several hundred pounds.
@@DonFassbender lol
I think them bikes were there because kid and adults ramped of the dock and the puppies filled with water and was to heavy to pull up
I believe you're right. They were fairly easy to bring up because I had sturdy swim fins. without them they would be hard to retrieve.
Good job man
Thank you, Huy Bui! Glad you liked the video.
I love scuba diving
humble knife me too :) Thanks for checking out my video.
This boulder is huge and I would never have expected this because the area it was moved to was an undercut and it looked like a giant just smashed it in place
I'm going to include this in a future video.

Hey Larry Ciarrocchi, I just got that metal detector. An Excalibur II. Expect treasure diving videos soon.
I just dropped my phone in a pond. How do I get it I can't find it. If jumped in already
Hey Kjag Productions, find acSciba diver if it's too deep. If you have a mask you might be able to swim down and get it. Good luck.
Don Fassbender I been swimming in there twice. It's to dirty. The water only comes up to my chest it's not to deep. I think I'll give up

You may be just the man I need to talk too, where do you fill your air tank at? Thanks a bunch and great video. Cool to see you saving lost treasures. ;)
I send my tanks with Dylan from City Sales in Iron Mtn 906-774-3555. They come through Mqt once a week and will pick up and deliver tanks on Thursday. I have sold a couple tanks to a fellow who uses the Benjamin Pioneer airbow. I could get you a reasonable tank or two too if you like.
