- In today's video, we make an Running LED circuit. Next week will be high voltage, probably anyways ( I have to read a 1400 page math book within a month to test out of some courses in college ) :P

Great work as always Nate. Really liked the visual / digital circuit demonstration. Keep it up bro.
Videos just get better and better
This is going to help me work on something that I've been waiting to do for a long time. I just didnt know how to run the lights in a pattern. THANK YOU!
Over here from Kevin's channel and he wasn't kidding... Your channel is awesome! New subscriber man. Looking forward to binge watching your videos.
Always waiting for your +Keystone Science and +greatscottlab videos . learn every time new..
This is one of the more Easy to Understand Projects. Thank you, a very good lesson for UA-cam-Scientists
oh my lord, the voicecrack when you said part caught me offguard and had me laughing too much. Aamzing video as always!
I really like the electronics schematic on the computer with the dots representing the flow of electricity. It really helps understand what's happening and would be great if you use it in your future videos.
I always have good luck with your circuits THANK YOU
This dude deserves 1 Million subs for real it sucks that the UA-camrs that are smart and Put alot of work into there video's doesnt get alot of support or Help. i wanna thank thebackyardscientist for being an amazing guy. and shouting this amazing UA-camr out :)
Cool! While I definitely enjoy your bigger projects, I really enjoyed having a simpler circuit to try out. I especially enjoyed this particular circuit because I was just looking into how to create something like this, so thank you very much for that! Your content never lets me down! (By the way, have you ever been told you resemble Tom Holland, or is that just me?)
Great lecture!
Very well done! You always make it sound and look so much easier, makes understanding this world so much better! I would hope that your videos can open the doors of interest for more to take initiative to learn about the world around them and how it works! Just because we're technically holograms doesn't mean we can't enjoy this physical realm! The italicized lettering was unintentional
I love falstad, great video bud!
i would love to see you build a pc using parts like these , i know they are far more complicated but they have always fascinated me by how they are built
That visual is very helpful
Is this a similar concept to a relay accept higher frequencies?
very interesting. always wanted to do this stuff
Great video, enjoyed this one a lot. Your set was a bit dark though, need some more light, it was difficult for me to make out some shots.
I love your channel
I just subscribed! Was recommended by backyardscientist. Expect your number of subscribers to double this week.
Nice video u have a new sub
You should make a video explaining how transistors work and when and how to use them!
If you added a few more red/white leds & a 3-12V buzzer paralleled at the final left of your board that would blink & sound together, you wouldn't have to have the extra spark gap circuit.
I like you very much
+Smow Alarmmacher thanks! I like you to! :D
Keystone Science hey ur really smart
A true jack of all trades it seems
can"t imagine someone as old as me having time to be an electrical genius...
I really never tried doing anything like he does in his videos, but it's just really fun to actually learn nonetheless.
I love your videos, as a physics and electronics enthusiast. Your projects are very entertaining to watch and contain LOTS of information. I do have a problem with your videos however, which can be seen especially in this particular one. You speak very, VERY fast. Now, that usually won't be a problem, but the information you give us isn't everyday knowledge. Additionally, there is barely any pauses between audio clips (you edit your videos so that when you finish a sentence you immediately start a new one). This makes it hard for us to fully grasp your videos as we have to force our brains to process visual and audio queues much quicker. Maybe you can slow down a little and put at least 2s gaps between sentences.
P.S. Love the accent
I knew it was going to be good when he broke out the 2N3904's!
I'm going to be completely honest with you, I don't know what the fuck you were saying like 95% of the time but you still earned my subscription
More Fountain Pens!!!! YAY
Seriously though how many fountain pens do you have?
sent over by @TheBackyardScientists I subscribed!
+swingman04 thank you! :D
I'm new to your channel and just by the name of your channel I know your from Pennsylvania just like me.
Could you hook these up to relays and power a bank of LEDs or a lightbulb for disco lights or something?
Try making this circuit with a 555 ic timer and a 4017 ic decade counter. It's good fun! :)
the best!!!!
I can't find how to send you mail. I want to, but what do I send it to?
So, I hope you got an A on your project, it looks pretty sweet! What class is it for? Physical biology or something like that?
+devzer0 i present it tomorrow, and nah, it's for AP psychology
+Keystone Science also thanks :D
Once I add the 4th led, 2 leds flash on and off instead of just the one any ideas
buen vídeo amigo
Weird stupid question but can this circuit time a multi stage coil gun?
would it be possible to build this circuit not with LED's lighting up, but a spark jumping along points along the neuron?
He is becoming the new rap god. good video btw
+SkyeDesiignsTMツ haha xD thank you!
Do you use arduino? If so can you do a video on how to program an ic?
thanks for making the video, -got to learn we can do without the 555 timer 👍
Can the LED be change to a Laser Diode?
backyard scientists sent me. like ur channel. I subscribed.
My science teacher is called MR keystone
What universities are you looking at? possible majors? @Keystone Science
What software did you use?
mustang tail lights! haha nice!
analog56x where?
thats a way to build them, is what I was getting at haha
Also, I think a 4017 & 555 combo is simpler
Your saying it's simpler to build. But if you just copy something from a design, and stick in some magic ic's you don't learn. I think part of the point of this channel is to help people learn about electronics, not just copy circuits
thank you
Wouldn't it be easier to just use a VCO, 555 or DAC instead of all those transistors?
Can you make a coilgun?
subbed.
Nice
I like this
you got shoutouted by backyard scientist and there "we" are
what about walking leds
Knight Rider Chase-light with a 555 timer?
use a 555 and a 4017 ic
Steven that's what i thought 😂
does it work with 2n2222
+1
Yes IT will
Nice hammer!
Hey bro you=cool
This channel is brilliant but it sorta saddens me that I chose Biology over Physics at school!! Mind I did become a medic in the end
I think I'll stick to using 555 and 4017s, lot simpler
+WeirdScience06 yes, yes. I suppose so
Party dooper
what grade is this for.
+Matthew Ripley it was for my ap psychology class
I just chain together CD4017’s... heh
wtf he uses nail and hammer to hang the letters
Years ago I learnt how to make a similar circuit using an IC as you mentioned in the video, but can't remember how to do it. Can you please provide the IC circuit design for chase LED's, or at least the IC number?
HEH? Whats that simulation??? u dont need 100 connections, just connect them with one.
10-th like
dude try setting the voltage in that to 2k.....
Came here cause you know who :p just subbed and was like if vids interest me when they in my feed i stay subbed. Well i aint gone yet ;)
+Benjamin Fraeyman haha thanks :D
Keystone Science :)
dragon sausage pancake sauce
from backyard science? anyone
Lol Falstad...
dude, you are 2017 nikola tesla! please be survived by global elite's..
Oh my brain help me
ikr, he said, "As simple as that our circuit is complete". It didn't sound simple lol
looks like you got to many wires to me or traces
coulda done that with am Arduino in a tenth the time and with a way Less complicated circuit...toss in a relay and you could have triggered the gap jump at the end too...simply and less solder...way more friendly LOL
but not as fun to make and mess around with.
your RIGHT! Arduino is MORE fun top masks and mess around with because of the options and speed you can change things!
here from back yard science
Backyard Scientist? Anyone?
:(
+Zed Genji yes! I just saw his video xD
lol i came here from there and now my brain hurts
Zed Genji yes just came from there hahaha
thats just the dumbness going away. kkkkkk.
Came from backyard Scientist. hahaha~~~
early wow...
anyone from backyardscientist?
Came here from back yard scientist
11th like.....
first
😂😂
fuck bro, ur smart. you should try doing one in English, all I understood was that u have a board made out of bread. 😂 to much for me.✌
u gotta reed dem books!!
Read a book or two on Electronics, you'll understand it then.
Make a scientific fidget spinner
Please do it for me I'm autistic 😂
+Isaac Meacham haha nooo never! Actually, unless it can be propelled with ions... so actually maybe
tenth to comment
Who came here from backyard scientist
I have a hard time believing you aren't drowning in women constantly
Sellout mode activated.
+Jacob Cheever pshshshshshshshshshshshshshshsh Jacob :P
All i heard was bla bla bla bla *LIGHTS*
make a USB killer
I think he has
it;s very easy to do
TheRoyalGaming yes when you solder a capacitor to a USB and charge it from bug zapper.
Slow down. Way to fast to keep up
English?
can u show us how to make a Tesla
Please stop blur focusing onto objects every second shot. It gives me cancer
+Boris Deletic but *blurs into focus next word* why?
