We know we are in a tough neighbourhood, with two proven nuclear armed enemies on our borders. Japan has an equally or perhaps even tougher neighbourhood!

Further, South Korea also faces the same threat from both North Korea and China. And China uses both North Korea and Pakistan todo it's dirty job. In every way, China seems to be the winner.
