Just found your video looking for info to propagate booby cacti, and you are right, there is very little info to do this. I see this was 1.5 years ago so wonder how did it go? I had a much smaller Myrtillocactus geometrizans Fukurokuryuzinboku that was not growing for a year, so I decided to graft mine, cut it about four inches from base, and grafted the tip and mid cuts. After 2-3 weeks, I see 4 new pups sprouting from the areoles of the original stock. I made many grafts where I grafted the booby scion onto regular myrtillocactus geometrizans , Blue Boys, and also decided to make a graft with only one boob!!! So far, they are all alive and active, though I don't see any new growth on the other grafts so far. I will go see your Part 2 and 3 next. Happy Growing.

I propagated a cactus from the tip a year ago and although it hasn’t grown much in this time. It seems to be ok. I think all your cactus parts will be ok. 💚

Hi! Love your video. Quick question. I just bought one of these. It was firm with roots. However, after I pot the plant and watered, it's become squishy after a couple of weeks. Do you know what the problem might be? Also, there a tiny rust spots on them. Normal?

It may have scale or some other pest, I would wipe with qtip and alcohol, un pot to see if the roots are still healthy, if not make a cut where it is firmest and re root
