I’ve passed my test and have been driving for a couple months. I’m still struggling with tight roads and worry that I’m too close. I’ll try to use reference points a lot more to make my driving a bit better.
@@julietumeh258 you will get it 100%. Everyone can pass it’s only a matter of time. There is so much freedom to come with it when you get there you have so much to look forward to!
How is it going for y'all? I have learned driving but still feel very anxious on roads that aren't empty. Could you please share how you navigated through this phase?
Very helpful refence points. I was struggling to position the car on the road . Sometimes too close to left and sometimes too far. Now its clear to me very well. I hope will position much better now.
Even though it seems like one of the easiest things to do when it comes to driving, a lot of people struggle with pulling over properly. Did you pass that test?
@@ZONDOdrivingI did pass 😊 it’s funny because I never used to have an issue with pulling up on the left until the lesson before my test. I’d started panicking about it for some reason. I practised it loads that lesson and the others were totally fine in the test but that last one he said I was just very slightly too far out. It was right before a really difficult hill start that I was dreading as well, and my brain was already thinking about the hill start. I knew as I pulled up that I hadn’t quite done it right!
I have my test in mid June. Thank you for the great tips. As an automatic driver, I also find it helpful when I use my left leg as a reference point to know that Im in the middle of my lane as If I was walking. Wish me luck.
update: had a lesson on junctions have another one tomorrow, key is to focus on the middle of the road and that's where the car will go :) don't look at what you don't want to hit i guess ha @@ZONDOdriving
Honestly Ive 6 months left to pass my driving license or my theory will be expired. Is there anyway I can book my practical test because there isn’t any date available on the official government website. Which is very frustrating for me. Please advise
Thank goodness I passed my test in April I had one test I failed on clearance 1 serious fault zero minors my instructor had never had that before I flicked my left mirror against a parked cars so slightly I didn't even feel it, but hey ho got the job done next time

Hey, how has iy been going for you? I have been struggling with this same issue
This is so helpful thank you 👍 I have dyspraxia so find it harder to judge where the car is in relation to other stuff.
Glad it was helpful!
All the useful reference points in a single video, thanks a lot!
Glad to hear that!
That’s a great tip for pulling up on the left, I got my one minor for being slightly too far out from the kerb.

@@ZONDOdriving I think I am struggling with the left side as I don't understand how far away I am from the parked cars.
Thank you for this helpful video

So helpful, Thank u 👌👏🏽
Thank you Marishade
What is the exact reference point for pulling up on the left? Great video by the way
It varies slightly from person to person but it's usually when then kerb lines up with the centre of your windscreen
very useful info thanks
Thanks. Glad you find it useful 🚗
Solid tips thanks 🙏
4:40 is a learner’s nightmare 😅 would definitely take a mirror off 😅

Ask your instructor if their company do cancellations
Check every day multiple times, once you see one buy it. It’s the only advice I can give. Good luck!
I've also heard of people checking at 6am and finding tests. Might be worth a try 👍🏾
Check every day 7am www.gov.uk
Why not try and book for far locations then . Most times there might be test available in other locations
Thank you👏👏👏
You're welcome
Great video 👌
Glad you enjoyed. Thank you
Thanks
Welcome

I've been driving for over 40 years with no accident and found your video excellent very informative thank you
Thank you Kevin. Glad you find them informative. Looking to do a lot more in the new year.
Sticking in my lane was hectic particularly with worn road markings
Exactly. That's why sometimes you have to look for other things to help you such as cracks in the road
Solid tips 😉
Glad you think so! 🫶🏾
