I'm going to tell you right now that if your dinosaur combat system is just two guys circling each other, biting each other to death until one guy dies, then it's not special. Also, unless you make this game optimized for PVP as your main draw, you had better start thinking of PVE systems. and by pve, I don't mean boring-ass diet fetch quests, like fightingAIi bosses or something, because all these damnable games are the same Also, on humans, all I can say is good luck balancing that shit either humans build structures that lock off areas of the map, use range to shoot everything to death, and snowball into being op or. Dinosaurs kill them before they can set up any infrastructure or craft anything. just telling you how it is because we already have 3 walking simulators competing for the top spot nobody is gonna want to play a fourth one

Furthermore, EoE is already thinking of implementing human playables, which is something the other mentioned titled aren't close to achieving? The whole concept of the humans is different, too. You aren't just running around with a .357 Magnum and one banging small dinos? Please don't be so pessimistic. They are super engaging as a Dev team overall too, I haven't seen Dondi ever reply respectfully to a Discord message before.
So I can play as a Dino and, lets say my friend plays as a human, can we like, be side by side, is it 2 servers for humans and dinos, or are the together in the same map?

Yesss, finally a game like the JWE where dinos feel heavy I mean you can just see it in the dinosaurs movement. I also like the foilage design, it really give the prehistoric vibe. As a sound Designer and enthusiast myself I am Impressed by the Low vibrating bellow sound the dino makes. It both sounds and looks alive and it is incredibly scary! Can't wait to SEE and HEAR more ❤ I dream of working on the sound for prehistoric dino games, maybe one day :D

Nobody want humans ? i know manny that are waiting far years on this to happen. Also don't forget that lots of people played as human in test and loved it. So i think your one of the few that does not want to have humans in the game. btw there are comming like it or not, human structures are being made for a reason ;)
This looks fantastic so far. The dinosaurs feet not sliding on the ground is particularly impressive. So many games fail in that regard. Watch the feet of the Giga in ARK and you'll see what i'm talking about. Movement for me is the most important thing when it comes to playing as/riding a dinosaur in a video game.

All I've wanted from a dino - human survival game is to be some big human-allied hadrosaur carrying 1-2 humans through the foliage as we go on some grand trip x)

I really like The Isle but i dont like how the devs work there (Most of the time for me it seems like they don´t care about their community). If i see what you guys did in only 7 months in comparsion to the years the devs of The Isle put in their game i can allready see that you guys will do a much better job as the time goes and if you work with the same passion you did till now. So what else can i say ? I know, take my money if its ready for release and kick The Isle devs butts and show them how its done right. Much love for you and your team.

What will make it or kill it are three things: - The amount of players available on any given server. No one wants to join a server with 5 people. - Risk vs reward: too much time afk growing gets old and we already have The Isle for that. And collecting clams is absurd and immersion breaking like PoT. - Immersion/atmospheric setting like sound and visuals
Looks promising! While there's already dino games like the isle and path of titans, the door is still wide open imo for someone to take the top spot since neither of those two game's developers seem to recognize the obvious flaws. They also don't seem to be in too big of a hurry to address them either. More competition in this genre is most welcome.
I shall watch the progress of this game with great interest. Several of the other dinosaur simulation/survival games just have not met expectations and on the other progress is slow and sometimes my motivation to play it is lacking.

This is looking great need more games to compete with the main two, as players we know they both have flaws in opposite areas. When im back to revive my dead channel Ill be keeping an eye on this one for sure. Love to see more of the Tribal side too humans seem pointless in The Isle.
We don't share a similar vision to the other games in this genre, which is a good thing! The more games the merrier, especially if they're all different. It gives the players more variety.
We were EXTREMELY impressed with the dino sounds. My partner said, "I don't even care if the game is shit, I'd buy it for the sounds!" Haha. Clearly this game is not going to be shit. We look forward to seeing the progression!

This looks great! i really hope you guys do well, but a bit of my opinion, im not trying to be mean or anything but something you guys could work on a bit more is some of the animations, because they do look high quality it just looks funky, in a way, but something you guys did REALLY well is the sound, i love the eocarcharia's sounds. it sounds great! nonetheless i really do hope this game succeeds and doesnt end up like the rest of the dinosaur games, isles of yore, etc etc.

I really like how you seem to be focused on making humans an integral part of the game, something i feel the isle has needed for a while

I'm not entirely sure if there are any ability trees or something along the like but if there are - I will absolutely hope to make a man-eater
