Welcome to our latest update video! Over the past 7 months, our team has been hard at work bringing the world of EoE to life. In this video, we'll take you through all the incredible progress we've made, including:
🔹 Eocarcharia Model Completion: Our team has finished the Eocarcharia model, complete with a full range of animations. Watch as this fearsome creature roars, bites, and moves with stunning realism.
🔹 Sound Implementation: From terrifying vocalizations to ambient effects, we've implemented 46 unique sounds for the Eocarcharia. Hear the immersive audio that will make your heart race!
🔹 Map Development: Our level designers have been meticulously crafting and optimizing the map. Explore the beautifully detailed environments that you'll soon be able to roam and conquer.
🔹 Combat Mechanics: Get a sneak peek into our dynamic combat system. Learn about the new features and mechanics that will make each encounter thrilling and strategic.

I'm going to tell you right now that if your dinosaur combat system is just two guys circling each other, biting each other to death until one guy dies, then it's not special. Also, unless you make this game optimized for PVP as your main draw, you had better start thinking of PVE systems.
and by pve, I don't mean boring-ass diet fetch quests, like fightingAIi bosses or something, because all these
damnable games are the same
Also, on humans, all I can say is good luck balancing that shit
either humans build structures that lock off areas of the map, use range to shoot everything to death, and snowball into being op or. Dinosaurs kill them before they can set up any infrastructure or craft anything.
just telling you how it is because we already have 3 walking simulators competing for the top spot
nobody is gonna want to play a fourth one
@stickthesecond5085 I fully understand your frustration, but there's no need to rant to a Dev Team about the things you are unhappy with, that relate to 3 complete different titles? Furthermore, EoE is already thinking of implementing human playables, which is something the other mentioned titled aren't close to achieving? The whole concept of the humans is different, too. You aren't just running around with a .357 Magnum and one banging small dinos? Please don't be so pessimistic. They are super engaging as a Dev team overall too, I haven't seen Dondi ever reply respectfully to a Discord message before.

Definitely post frequent updates! There is so much market value for a game like this that is well produced..we are all watching in eager anticipation and hope you will keep us informed on new updates and a possible alpha release!
I'm really glad that there will be options on unofficial servers to play with tribals either on first person or third person gameplay for the taste of everyone though

Yesss, finally a game like the JWE where dinos feel heavy I mean you can just see it in the dinosaurs movement. I also like the foilage design, it really give the prehistoric vibe. Good job Islander i see you have a nice vision for this game and i like that vision. Also i hope u dont quit this project.

This looks fantastic so far. The dinosaurs feet not sliding on the ground is particularly impressive. So many games fail in that regard. Watch the feet of the Giga in ARK and you'll see what i'm talking about. Movement for me is the most important thing when it comes to playing as/riding a dinosaur in a video game.

As a sound Designer and enthusiast myself I am Impressed by the Low vibrating bellow sound the dino makes. It both sounds and looks alive and it is incredibly scary! Can't wait to SEE and HEAR more ❤ I dream of working on the sound for prehistoric dino games, maybe one day :D

What will make it or kill it are three things:
- The amount of players available on any given server. No one wants to join a server with 5 people.
- Risk vs reward: too much time afk growing gets old and we already have The Isle for that. And collecting clams is absurd and immersion breaking like PoT.
- Immersion/atmospheric setting like sound and visuals

We were EXTREMELY impressed with the dino sounds. My partner said, "I don't even care if the game is shit, I'd buy it for the sounds!" Haha. Clearly this game is not going to be shit. We look forward to seeing the progression!

Will tribals be able to attempt to "tame" player dinosaurs maybe through food offerings or a taming process that both sides need to participate in? All I've wanted from a dino - human survival game is to be some big human-allied hadrosaur carrying 1-2 humans through the foliage as we go on some grand trip x)

Hi Islander, I´ve heard you talking about that you and your team develop an dinosaur survival game in your videos and now that i´ve seen some more im very exited for it. I really like The Isle but i dont like how the devs work there (Most of the time for me it seems like they don´t care about their community). If i see what you guys did in only 7 months in comparsion to the years the devs of The Isle put in their game i can allready see that you guys will do a much better job as the time goes and if you work with the same passion you did till now. So what else can i say ? I know, take my money if its ready for release and kick The Isle devs butts and show them how its done right. Much love for you and your team.

I shall watch the progress of this game with great interest. Several of the other dinosaur simulation/survival games just have not met expectations and on the other progress is slow and sometimes my motivation to play it is lacking.

looks like the isle except more refined and hopefully doesnt have any of the issues that the isle has! looks dope ill keep an eye on this. high hopes for it! i believe these devs can do better!
Imagine what would happen if 2 game developers worked together like (The Isle) & (Echoes Of Extinction) the game would be surely great
We don't share a similar vision to the other games in this genre, which is a good thing! The more games the merrier, especially if they're all different. It gives the players more variety.
Plus the isle devs are toxic af

Looks promising! While there's already dino games like the isle and path of titans, the door is still wide open imo for someone to take the top spot since neither of those two game's developers seem to recognize the obvious flaws. They also don't seem to be in too big of a hurry to address them either.
More competition in this genre is most welcome.
Though those games will be similar in a few ways, we aim to fill a different niche in the end. There is lots of space in this genre however!
This is looking great need more games to compete with the main two, as players we know they both have flaws in opposite areas. When im back to revive my dead channel Ill be keeping an eye on this one for sure. Love to see more of the Tribal side too humans seem pointless in The Isle.

This looks great! i really hope you guys do well, but a bit of my opinion, im not trying to be mean or anything but something you guys could work on a bit more is some of the animations, because they do look high quality it just looks funky, in a way, but something you guys did REALLY well is the sound, i love the eocarcharia's sounds. it sounds great! nonetheless i really do hope this game succeeds and doesnt end up like the rest of the dinosaur games, isles of yore, etc etc.

While i've always disliked humans in dinosaur games, this is definitely an exception. I hope there'll be more to do besides combat!
This already looks amazing and with unreal engine 5.4 i think this will give other dino games like the isle adn PoT a run for its money
