3:17 Orca OMR accepts up to 35c slick tyres and has a standard round 27.2 seatpost.
Orca OMX accepts up to 32c and has integrated d-shaped aero seatpost.
I own one and I love it. Hope that helps!

Great video. Just so you know, the ‘M’ before the number means a carbon frame. The ‘D’ means an alloy frame. The numbers which follow, the lower the number, the better the components. M10 is carbon with Dura Ace. M20 is Carbon with Ultegra etc. the ‘I’ after the number indicates Di2.

Hello Bikotic - I bought an Orca Aero with Ultegra DI2 3 years ago using the MyO system with my own colours and personalisation. It arrived exactly as specified and still looks amazing - using a matt paint finisher when cleaning helps protect it. The bike is great, Orbea's customer service is brilliant and friendly and I can't imagine changing the frame any time soon. Thanks for the great video!

The good thing on Orbea is that you can get their tier 1 frame "OMX" with the same wheels and the same handlebars in Ultegra or Dura Ace Spec. The only difference is the groupset and the saddle rails (carbon vs. titanium or steel). This is really great. So you can save a lot of money if you don´t need Dura Ace for 10.000+EUR. You can stick to below 7.000EUR.
Which other brand offers thsis? At Speci you need to buy S-Works to get the top frame and wheels. At Canyon you neeed to buy CFR, right?
That´s a great differentiation for Orbea in my eyes.

Just to add a little to the model codes: The second number indicates a groupset manufacturer. So 10 means Shimano Dura-Ace, 11 is Sram Red, 20 is Shimano Ultegra, 21 is Sram Force and so on... great video btw

What a great website you have created. Although I'm not in the market for this brand, I used your website to compare Canyon bike geometries. I have the aluminum Grail 7 and thought I wanted the Ultimate until I got an accurate comparison to both my bike and the two choices. I learned that the Endurace geometry is what I was looking for. Now the wait begins... 😂
    Thank you!!

It’s easy to take shots at electronic shifting, I’ve taken my share over the years. But having lived with it for a bit I can say the shifting is always instantaneous, flawless and 100% precise and always being able to select the correct gear without any fiddling or faffing about actually does make you a faster more efficient cyclist. So given that upgrading the tires and wheelset is much easier than upgrading the drivetrain it’s easy to see why Orbea would make the choices they did on their lower tier bikes. The heavy alloy wheels and low quality tires are just meant to get you started until you save enough sheckles for a nicer wheelset.

I have a '22 Orca Aero M10i that I absolutely adore, having come from a '15 BMC TMR01 and absolutely could not justify $5k more for another BMC of the same groupset/spec. One of the best things about buying Orbea (besides having great bikes for their price point) is that they're a Co-Op, so employees have ownership of the company to some degree. Made it a little easier to justify going with Orbea over other brands.

Still happily riding my 2017 Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 8, Ultegra di2 with rim brakes. Great bike, only issue I’ve had is the Mavic free hub needs regular servicing, at least once or twice a year.

I designed my Orbea Orca OMX on the website. It turned out to look just as I wanted it to. Metallic dark grey that faded over in black. With dark red stickers.

I’ve got the Orca OMX. I ordered it as frame-only for $3,500 USD with custom colors the November before COVID. I didn’t get it until May, but that was partly because of lockdowns. Everything was as expected and the quality was excellent. I took a close look inside the frame and the layup seems to be quite clean. I built it up with ENVE 4.5 AR wheels, my trusty saddle, and Ultegra 11 Di2.
The bike is reasonably light, but not exceptionally so. The compliance is excellent, as is the handling.
That was the year that the industry trended towards disc, drop seat stays, and hidden cables, all of which I wanted. I went electronic to avoid sticky shifting with tightly routed cables. It was the best value available for those features, plus custom paint and even my name on the frame. I’m 100% satisfied with no temptation to upgrade. (Okay, I might go 12-speed at some point, mainly to move the 11 speed to my winter bike. I’m sold on electronic shifting now.)

I bought the gravel Orbea. Ordered using the myO custom colours. It took 3 months to arrive, missing the holiday I'd bought it for and when it arrived it was Matt instead of Metallic. The shop I ordered it through said I could reject it but offered me some money off if I took it. (it was their mistake) I was worried about the finish of a matt bike and I was right. It's not durable and the stickers have started to come off because they aren't underneath a laquer. Oil and grime also soaks into the paint eventually as again it's a textured finish not gloss. The configurator was fun though!

@@bikotic Yeah, the shop should have double checked the order really. To be fair to them, they supplied the demo bike FOC for the holiday. Just wish I'd rejected the bike. I am considering contacting them to see if Orbea will look at the paint quality. Shouldn't have parts of the decals peel off.

I have the Orca OMX DA Di2 and configured it via the MyO. I nearly made a horrible mistake trying to make it unique but instead just made it look crap. Thankfully managed to change it and the bike arrived exactly as specced. I wasn’t fond of the wheels though (Vision 55SC)
Hunt limitless 48 and Conti 5000 sorted that.

I´ve understood the "PWR" as Powermeter option you can add to (almost) every bike. Your dealer just has to order it. Then, the factory will exchange the normal Shimano crank to a single sided Powermeter crank by 4iiii, right?
So, every model is available as PWR and non-PWR.
