@@CrazySubaruFanatic I just made one in twenty minutes 😂 used wood for frame, a piece of alum tube for shaft, a 5rpm dc motor from Amazon, and some foam for the wheels. Wanted foam because it was fast to make, light weight, and strong enough for my lures, I make ten batches of popper lures at a time and hang them on there at once. I used a torch to slightly heat the surface of the foam so it melts a bit and become hardened to help with strength. Overall similar design to yours.
The opposite end of the motor...where the PVC rests on the wood...have it rest on two bearings. One on each side underneath. Less friction = cooler motor.
How many wires come off that motor. I was wanting to either put a plug on the end or just connect the motor to a battery. Do you think that’s possible? Thanks
Good Morning ! I saw your video and noticed that you use Devcon 2 Ton. Used to finalize fishing lures? Over time do the fishing lures turn yellow? Thanks
I have had them finished for about 11 months and do not see any yellowing yet. So far so good but I cant speak for long term. Used mine up in Canada and after ALOT of northern and walleye they do fleet a few scratches. Only one of mine had the devcon chip off and that was from a northern the spun in my net and ripped the rear hook out.
The epoxy cures very smooth. When applying the devcon I spin the bait around enough so it doesn't sag and then hook it on the turner. Works great for me
love this going to make it
Very nice I’m going to try this design just different materials.
If I need to make anymore I will probably try something on a 3d printer. Haven't used it in a few years but will be soon before my trip to Canada.

Hi
The engine is not too fast?
Can you apply a beautiful epoxy on the lure?
does the epoxy go on evenly? seems fast how you get the epoxy on there without it dripping off

I'm thinking about making one how big are the octagon
