They originally wanted Sawyer to be a slick, suit-wearing, smooth talking conman, but when Josh Holloway forgot a line during his audition he kicked a chair and swore loudly (I'm guessing 'Son of a BITCH') and they decided that they liked that Sawyer better : )

no but boone, charlie and shannon do. locke finds a hatch and opens it and finds desmond who has to push a button every 108 minutes to save it from blowing up. locke pushes it but jack doesn't. there are other survivors from the plane too but most of them die. there are "others" on the island who fuck with everyone. bad people come to kill everyone and take the "others" leader but fail. jack kate sun sayid hurley and claires baby get off the island. the island gets moved and locke is jesus.
