this is a proud midi guitar gang moment (love programming math rock guitar cuz my hands can't move that fast and accurately haha)
That's such a good video for so many producers!! Thank you man!
Great video!! Always enjoy your videos...the way you explain things and show exactly what you're doing on screen is always on point!!
Love the nuanced nature of what you shared. Thanks so much!
Great Video Austin
This is something that many on youtube never give examples.
Actually incredible Austin! Thank you for such awesome free content.
You absolutely nailed it! Will try to use these techniques asap.
this is so perfectly timed youre the goat istg
Excellent lesson! Kontact sounds are incredible! Beautiful session!
YESSSS, THANK YOU for doing this🙌🏽
Excellent! Lot of useful info.
Thanks
Awesome video! I'm in the same boat where I play guitar and have like 7 different options sitting here in my room that I can use to live track whatever I need, but knowing how to program MIDI guitars like this is still an awesome tool to have. Like sometimes it sounds really cool to layer a MIDI track under your live tracked version for sound design/enhancement, and so you have to know how to program that properly.
I’m just lazy sometimes, I don’t want to get out of my chair and grab my guitar from the wall so clicking in midi notes It is. 😂
Mnay thanks Austin! Another super-useful tutorial full of detail.
This is a 💎 I learn so much from you.
Super informative. Thank you.
Can’t wait to check this one out!
Austin thanks for this as i have those plugins also so this will be helpful !
Great video!
Amazing differens thanks for this video❤❤❤
Excellent video ! For me a superb plugin is UJAM plugins like Silk2 etc. They have a tone of ready phrases based on what you play (notes and chords). Like someone plays real. i play the midi chords, change some phrases on the plugin, and i render it like an audio. after that i cut / edit the audio phrase. You can achieve very high quality results
hell yeah! Basically the same thing I'm doing here! Taking time to dial in phrase switching, adding in fret noise, and bouncing as audio can make it SO much more realistic.
very valuable information
EXACTLY the video I've been looking for. I think I typed the exact title of this video into the search lol
Omg it’s like you read my mind I was just looking for this information
I hope you get many blessings for making this video
amazing
I enjoy the Roland gr 55 guitar synthesizer pedal will it may not be exactly midi it does have some midi connectivity from what I understand. *this was a good idea for a video❤
Спасибо!
Legend!
Very nice! Tnk you! What you think about the Ample Sound Guitars?
they're the best honestly. Meant to shout them out and completely forgot! lol
I was just about to ask the same question. I’m glad Justin, @MakePopMusic, answered what I also feel about Ample Sound Guitars.
@@MakePopMusic tnk you!
Can you do also a Video about doing those guitar riffs like in "Mr Probs - Waves"? :)
Could you share the link to your guitar plugins?
If possible, can you show how to mix a guitar track recorded using Electric Guitar VST (Virtual Instrument) with amps sim. I tried many times but always sound weird. Please.
Hi austin
Can you make a dayglow and Djo kind song for the next video please?
Love you man❤️
Thing that makes me happy is one someone ask me if the guitar is a sample i used nope they are vst's allot of notes placed by clicking.
I like it
The eyes give it away.
can anyone tell how to swap voices based on instrument in logic pro!
I was going to ask this, too! If anyone knows, it'd be greatly appreciated.
👍👍👍
guitar is the hardest instruments for VST to reproduce realistically, at least today, but I appreciated your effort, in my modest opinion it'e easier to get a real guitar and play it, and if u can't, then learn and play it. u have no choice
This video is sooooo useful…. (I’m a pianist)
I want your neutral DSP cory's preset. This is not include in mine.
They’re ones we made for our Producer Principles 101 course. I think that’s the only place we posted them
Starts at (2:12)
💖💖💖 💯💯
You tried Ample Sound guitars yet?
love them! I have a couple but forgot to mention them in this video. Hahaha
@@MakePopMusic OK. Those guys do marvelous work... I can't count the times I've guitarists struggle to tell the difference between them and a real guitar... It helps that I play guitar too 😇
Triad... :)
how to produce make you mine madison beer
Acoustic like that is tough.
how do you make an ai voice2guitar sound realistic, coming soon from you 6months from now, hehe
@9:05. That’s what alternate tunings are for…
Fair. But in this very beginner friendly video, I didn’t wanna break down what open D is 😂
@@MakePopMusic yeah, that makes sense. I have the same philosophy when programming drums. I think you mentioned that in the beginning. But as a guitar player I immediately thought “I could probably play that with an alternate tuning!” 🎸😂
@@MakePopMusic I really love the idea of re-amping the sample. That’s something I’ve never thought of!
No plug-in or library comes close to good ol “Steinberg-Wizoo Virtual Guitarist 2”
Your using software to generate a sound. Not every one has access to plugins that sound like that.
how else do you propose I demonstrate using a plugin to create MIDI guitar if I can’t use a plugin? 😂
Just buy a guitar for less than 100 bucks. Oh wait.. it's a real activity. Scary stuff 😊
i mean I agree but most people can't just pick up a guitar and play it lol
Bro, that dandruff on your shoulder. ooof!
It’s powder 😂 I powder sometimes when I film because the lights make skin look super shiny. It just fell off onto my shoulder 💀
Also though, veryyyy rude because if that was dandruff I would be offended so oooof right back at ya 😂
