The Drowner and the Skylar sounded absolutely amazing! Another awesome episode as always and stellar performances and demos by everyone involved @thetonemason
So many great pedals this time. That L.A.G. and Skylar would be great fun together. But that drowner… WOW! what an amazing pedal. Will be checking that out further. Great playing too this episode. Fun stuff! @ultratoneband
Can't believe it's episode 9 already!! These have been a fun highlight and something to look forward to this past several month! Thanks for all the hard work! @mikeiurmakesmusic
The downer and the skyler were mesmerising, to be fair, they all sounded good. What an amazing time to be alive and a guitar player. Well, after you’ve saved some pennies. @James.Pitter
This series is one of my UA-cam highlights of the week. Look forward to it every time. I think the Meteore is my favorite of the bunch here. @loopydemos
Learning about the Echonomicon I realized something about pedals and pedalboard routings with signals in parallel. Parallel is as important as in series but for some reason we generally don't see it used as much. I remembered my inner thoughts watching presentations of lets say the EHX Tri-parallel effect looper: There is an effort to initiate the players into novel territory. Come to think of it, it IS a kind of a TERRA INCOGNITA isn't it? I myself just discovered frequency beating, an effect that needs parallel routing, even though I've been using parallel routings sometime now. It's magical ...I just detune the two signals half a semitone apart and when I arpeggio, each string has it's own tremolo speed. Series is CAUSE & EFFECT and Parallel is RELATIONSHIP.
@@SpiralCasterPlaysPedals Correction on my previous comment: I'm using two ringmodulators detuned a semitone, I think this is what makes each string tremolo at a different speed. Thanks for the response. @kapetan_migas
A great way to be introduced to a lot of inspiring pedal developers! I'm currently looking for a new and different reverb so this episode was right up my alley. Can't decide if I liked the Meteore or the Drowner the most! @rimgrot
Ep. 9 is the perfect example that this whole series could play so nicely as a blog-cast. The ambience is soothing! Narration, Demonstration, Saturation, Reverberation! ❤️🔥 poncho_beezy
This is becoming something like The living planet, when you, like David Attenborough, explore and explain unknown, unheard and mythical creatures and beasts of the pedal world. Fascinating... @martinkocnar
Great format, really thorough, nicely presented and a truely superb selection of pedals. Unfortunately I cannot afford following all these socials, that would GAS me bankrupt. But great stuff nonetheless, I'm gonna just enjoy watching these.
Eyy eyy. It’s a meteore’. Had my eyes on one for quite some time now. *crosses fingers!*. Also. Is the fjord in timeout? Or just feeling tired today. Caught laying down on the job 🤣
Another awesome demo with amazing pedal builders. If I had to pick my favorite the tremotron and the drowner were my two favs! Can't wait to see pt. 2! @fidalgok
The bass is going through a TC Electronics BG250(for this and the remaining Part One episodes), a MarkBass combo(for all previous Part One episodes), and a David Eden WT800 and XLT 4x10 cab for the Part Two episodes.
Wow Cohen, what a set this episode! I have an ADD LAG on my reverb watch list right now... sure would be nice to have a reason to take it off hehe... @clayblacker
Never heard about Computer 2 or Wettmar but they seem to be making some insane stuff. Thanks for the introduction and thanks for a great episode as always! 🎉 @driveblind
Been loving the ritual of watching these episodes with my cup of coffee. Thanks for putting in so much effort into these. That Junk Lantern pedal is so exciting and I've never heard anything quite like it! @polandrockes
Came here to see the Drowner in action and was not disappointed. What a beautiful mix of features! Also, really impressed with the UI on the Tremotron! Thanks for all of this amazing content 😍😍 @klozano93
Amazing bunch of pedals this week. Everything one of the spoke volumes to me. Drowner came out to play this week. One of my favorite pedals by far. @stoneguru_ cannot wait to hear the sounds you come up with for part 2.
It's cool to see people really showing how much effects can do. Omar Rodriguez I think put it best in saying that they're little instruments in themselves. @dangray5295
I knew it was going to be a good episode when I saw the Meterore. I used to own one and it was a great sounding reverb, not really sure why I sold it! @sp00000nman
Got to say that this episode strikes as really inspiring. I should show this episode to couple of my guitarist who I feel are little sceptic about effects. I think you and the guys really nail home how you can use variety of pedals in drasticly different ways. Amazing! Also Episode seems to be low key lo-fi pedal episode😁 @svanttemur
The craziest thing is I just found out about the Dunn Effects PVRIFIER like 2 weeks ago and was interested in hearing how it sounds and then it showed up here! So crazy, thank you for sharing with us these sounds. @johnpasiuk
Another great bunch of pedals - I’ve been caught between the tremotron and the Malekko goatkeeper as a new tremolo for my board, and I think this episode might have swayed me to the tremotron…great pedal! Some interesting dirt pedals as well, both the Saturn and the purifier seem really versatile and like they have some pretty unique applications… @gfredwood
Holy shit- that Drowner is an amazing pedal! And I’ve wanted a Saturn VI for awhile. Very nice to see it again. Either of them would fit nicely on my board. Certainly both would.😅 @cassini_
Great vid as always, the Skylar sounds luuuuuush. What's the thought process behind running the Empress Comp with everything? Just makes everything sound better or makes the levels easier to deal with in recording? @r.j.diehl
Thank you all so much for the Drowner love in the comments! Another perfect video by Cohen and the team, I love this whole project so much ❤
it's amazing
That Drowner bit is fantastic!

Love the Tremotron's artwork (actually, love the artwork of all Stone Deaf FX)
No doubt!
Al lot of good pedals here! At least 4 here are my all time favs, although never tried any of them myself, but absolutely great pedals!
Is Meteore one of those?
@@SpiralCasterPlaysPedals oh yeah!!! Definitely, although my personal fav is Tremotron. The other two are LAG and Drowner. All awesome indeed.
