What a sweet kitty. My cat had kittens a few months ago. Despite the mess and chaos it's lovely. I love the lace and garter shawl, it looks gorgeous, as does the dark blue cardigan. And I agree about knitting while reading, I enjoy it too.
I know this was 3 months ago, but I wanted to watch it again. I love seeing all your creations, including the beautiful items hanging on the back side of your chairs. Love you Paula.~~ Sindy.

Just found you, and love everything about you. Found you from "This little wonderful life" podcast. You are a perfect pet owner and I know since I've managed a veterinary hospital starting from the very bottom and working my way up. Which I have to say working at the bottom was my favorite. Taking care of the animals in the back. After surgery and such. Giving them all the love and such that they needed. Everything you have done so far is spot on!!! I love little Ian and all your pets.

So very sorry, again, for the loss of your beloved Queen Elizabeth II. My heart was broken when I first heard the word on BBC. I just love her and admire her for being the most honest, sincere and dedicated person, and most genuine character there was. She made me feel safe when she appeared on the television! She made me feel like everything will be okay. What a life to admire!! Sympathies from the United States 🙏💗
Sorry to hear about Kim. It takes me ages to mourn the loss of my pets. They aren’t pets they are members of my family. I miss each one so much. Ian is adorable and will grow up happy in your household.

Hello Paula. Ian is such the sweetest little bundle of fur. Thank you for all the tips on how to introduce kittens to other furry members of the family. I want to get a kitten but have a large rescue tabby called Mollie who has always been the princess of the house (my very first cat) so really don’t know how she will behave. She’s an indoor cat too. I wanted a puppy but she HATES dogs so not going down that route. Anyway lovely vlog and loved all your makes. I love sitting and knitting while listening to your chat. A lot of course has happened since your vlog and was crying buckets at the news of our Queen’s sad passing. By the way - loved your new fringe. Suits you. Lesley xx.

Paula, I just wanted to let you how badly i feel for you and for all the rest of us who loved your queen. My family immigrated to the States in the late 1800's from Scotland, England, Ireland & Wales, so I've always felt that she was sort of my Queen too. May she rest in peace. I'd also like to extend my condolences too on your loss of Kim. Boy you're really going through it. Be strong dear Paula. We're walking behind you. Come back to us when your ready; just know we miss you a lot, and completely understand you needing a break. Hopefully your new adorable kitten will help heal you. XX Madeline

The new kitten is so adorable!! Loved all of the shawls and sweaters , I have two of m to wips out and working on both, I have too many projects , weigh too many , so I gifted a lot of yarn and keeping things I will actually finish. They aren’t for anyone in particular, so no stress but I definitely overbought, so I’m watching all my favorite you tubers in the hope of getting the craa a sting mojo back!! Anyhow, all your things are lovely. ! The lace on the shawls is gorgeous, I started a lace and bobble yoke sweater that I’ve had to rip back 100 times, the hardest thing I’m doing, and I’m knitting fifty years, I’m doing one round at a time and putting it away , I’m using La bien Aimee corrie worsted, so I’m determined to get it! Sorry for the long comment, l absolutely love your channel!

It usually takes me about 2 weeks to quit sneezing after I’m around a new cat. No big problem.
I love your little kitten,. So sweet,. I been feeding this little wild kitten outside,. For about a month now,.. this past Tuesday,. It was the last time I saw him,. When it came Wednesday,. I went to feed him I notice he didn't come to eat,. And today is Thursday still no kitten,. I name him lonesome,. He was always scare to come out from under the house,. He was doing so good thou,. He look healthy,.since I been feeding him... I'm thinking a wild animal might of grab him up.. 😓😣😬🤦💔🐈 it's so hard when you get attached to something ,. And it disappear ...
Im the same Paula I’ve found the holidays difficult ive got a 13yr old a 16 yr old whos just left school and an 18yr old who’s still at college feel like they have been off for ages and its such difficult ages to entertain, you can’t just go to the park or soft play anymore 😓 I’ve been working too and my husband, its a hard balance!

You are a special human being Paula. You have cats but you are allergic to them but you do it anyway. I think the rescue places are wrong. I don't think a cat could have a better home. Ian is precious.

We were looking for “a young cat” but then I saw Stitch (not my choice but pretty good for somebody who knits and sews all the time!) who was eleven and I just kept going back and back to look at him on the website - he’s sixteen now and we love him to bits. Thanks for all your sock yarn recommendations, I’ve never been disappointed yet! Have just ordered some Opal Water World!

I can only knit scarfs.lol.but I crochet all the time. I make babies and toddlers clothes and blankets. I give them to shelters.

Love your kitten. We have 4 cats living in our house. I also have 4 children. We really love our furry friends. We did the same when introducing a new cat. Have the new cat stay in the bathroom when we are away and at night.

I love when you post a vlog I love seeing the fur babies . I have a cat(really my oldest daughters she picked it out) and we have had her for years and this past February watching your vlog made me want a doggie. So we adopted a doggie I told hubby it was for my middle daughter to help her as she was still struggling with my parents being gone. Anyway he ended up being more attached to me but loves us all.

So good to see you Paula, I’m here for the knitting and crochet but mostly your company! I sit and knit and emerge myself in you talking to me ! Ian, of my god he is absolutely gorgeous my cat was black and white, but I love all animals but have a very soft spot for 🐈⬛ cats! You made my day when you were cuddling him at the end, him purring so loudly, pure contentment it’s so comforting to listen to, I played the end more than once! It’s very difficult to knit a pattern on black or navy wool you need very good light and complete concentration so difficult to see the stitches. Your cardigans and blankets as always so beautifully knitted, already looking forward to your next visit, Suze. 🐕🐈⬛🐰🐇 😘 x

I was so excited to see you and Ian. No one can ever replace sweet Kim, but Ian will help ease the pain. I, too, am looking for a kitten.I’d like to go to a no kill shelter, but would also like one from a loving family. My daughter’s 4 year old black lab crossed the rainbow bridge with his parents and a trusted vet by his side. It was a very, very sad day. She will be on the search for a brother this summer. Oh how we love our fur children, and in my case, grandchildren. Anyway, welcome to the podcasts ! Ian. Doug and Pam will surely be showing you the ropes soon. But do stay indoors where you are safe and sound. Paula, your knits are always lovely! I wish I could read and knit. The author of Daisy Jones and the Six is very good. I’ve read several of her books and loved them all. I am an avid reader, and find my books at Thrift Stores…I think you refer to them as charity shops? Loving the navy cardi. I am making a cabled cardi/jacket for my younger daughter which has a 36 row pattern repeat. Every row is different and patterned so I know how you feel. Thank you for reminding me to go back to it.

Aw, what a sweet little kitten, my grandson so wants one but the parents say no since we have pets already. Two cats, a dog, a gecko and a hamster which the kids promised to do everything to look after them but of course it’s the adults who end up doing it. I think every child should have a kitten though, just to see how playful and snuggly they are and grow up together. You’ve made some beautiful things Paula, the purple cardigan is so pretty and soft. Looking forward to the next video, whenever a new one shows up in my feed I stop and go make a nice cup of coffee and settle down to enjoy it.🥰 I listen to audiobooks while I knit and do most everything else, I even set it to read me to sleep at night. Thank heavens my library has thousands of them for free because they are quite dear to buy. I did buy myself some Bluetooth headphones so I can listen while I do dishes, I killed an older phone by getting it wet in my apron pocket😳. Take care, enjoy having the kids back to school, the grandkids started today and the house is sooooo quiet. 🙋🏼♀️
