I loved those retractable sabers when I was a kid! I still have my obi wan hilt with the purple blade and my Qui Gon Jinn hilt with the red blade!

that saber and jacket combo is perfection,. its so cool that the hilt is heavy its keeping with lore since Vaders saber was supposed to be bigger and heavier than Anakins.

I love that Anakin's AOTC Lightsaber resembles Vader's Lightsaber (Canonically it's the opposite ofcourse, but you know what I mean). He did his first dark deed with that Lightsaber, so maybe Vader felt nostalgic when building his new saber. The Podracing jakcet looks great on you btw!

Sabertrio sabers have gotten even more amazing than they already were, they now have a power core chassis replacing the older legacy chassis, the new power core chassis is completely modular, it's wireless so it is removable so one power core chassis in the CFX or proffie soundboard options can power any sabertrio hilt so you can have literally one power core chassis and take it out of one hilt and put it in another hilt! The other awesome feature which is my favorite is the ability to unscrew the speaker is the speaker blows which is called the audio chip so they now sell spare audio chips and because they now have audio chips (it gets even better!) they now have 28mm smugglers outpost elite and dark side series speaker audio chips!
They have the upgrade to purchase on their website and your saber is shipped back to them and they take your soundboard out of the old legacy chassis and put it in the new power core chassis.
Sabers definitely came a long way, especially the 90's to the 2000's one where you hang them on your belt.
Gonna get the Qui-Gon one someday.

My friend has the same hilt model and XenoPixel v3 Core from Neo Sabers about a month ago and that hilt is by far one of his favorites. The only thing he did was instead of getting the normal Pixel Blade with it, He got it with a Dark Lava Blade instead and it looks wicked. I also noticed it can hold the blades way better than the older models. Sure it didn't come with the additional fonts that the workshop has in theirs but the hilt itself is a brand new model for new electronics that have been out lately. You got a really good saber Carly. My friend got his for almost the same price as you did. 👍

I used to have a double bladed darth maul lightsaber that it used to work with sounds and flashes but it split in half soo yeah, from 1999. Did you get the Star Wars cover Empire magazine? I waiting for my dark side cover to arrive on Thursday, my local bookstore couldn’t receive both covers because of their distributor.
Would love to see a head to head with a hilt from the galaxy's edge vs something from imperial works or similar.
Have to agree that the hilt is a beast. I have 4 now and they're all either staying in their boxes or on a shelf. I can't spin them at all. Even without the grips on them they'd be too awkward to use unless using 2 handed grips and I'd prefer using the Baylan Skoll hilt for power fights.

I used to have those retractible lightsabers growing up as a kid i just bought lukes green neo pixel sabers from ROTJ its so badass the setup was a little difficult it hurts your hands after awhile doing the hand spins lol but the neo pixel sabers are so dope it was worth the premium! Which saber is your favorite
Vader was the first legit lightsaber I bought. I held so many trying to decide but I had to go with Darth Vader's saber. It is a weighty saber for sure but I absolutely love it.

Very nice. Thank you for the blade length. Carly King & Collectors Outpost uses 32 inch blades. I dont swing, twirl, or fight. I use them as a walking stick. I tryed twirling from your videos, but i left a big. Gash on my forehead. @ age 56 im foolish for doing that. Keep up the great educational saber reviews cheers.
The ole retractables. A freind gave me his Luke Skywalker ROTJ one - vhunky but accurate. I have it to a freind of mine's son after itd been say in my drawer for ages.

Fun fact: Vaders saber is among the highest quality of sabers ever built. It has a control system to choose how much power you want the blade to emit, and 2 kyber crystals and like it's so advanced.
