When you visit these ghost towns ,, you make them come alive with the emotional energy of the people at that time period 😊. Talk about finding a gem,, Ruby😊.
You guys should be noticed and picked up by a mainstream travel / history channel. This was fascinating. The intro was so sharp. I'm gonna be viewing this one again. Love the glimpse of that old truck!
I am very happy you have chosen to create these videos. Twenty-five years ago, I could have explored right beside you. I think now my current location will likely be my last. The upside is I can do research on the most interesting topics such as world events. And watch explorations of the American Southwest like yours.
Another interesting video and explore! Looks like the place closed permanently to the public as of June 3, 2024. The kerosene heater looked like the type we used to sell at the farm store back in the 1970s.
I hope to visit Ruby ghost town in the near future. I just uploaded my latest visit to Jeromes Gold King Mine & ghost town🏜️ Love it there, my 5th visit now ☺️ Great tour💯 I did not realize there was so much to see there! Including the spider book😝 I loved your timelapse close to the end and that cemetery was amazing! I've been off youtube taking care of my health for the last 7 months but I'm on the comeback now🤙 Good seeing you two🤗🌵
Hi Steve and Andrea - really interesting ghost town. Great to see the adobe brick building style. Love the cactus takeover of the doctor,s office - I have some like that growing in my garden in the UK. Formidable wildlife in that beautiful annd rugged location.
Another fascinating adventure... That schoolroom, in particular, hit home. It must have been quite the place to be in its heyday. It's great that visitors can meander around, choosing their own interests. Thank you once again, for escorting us around that unique settlement, Andrea and Steven.🏡🙏🏻🏚🌞🤗
Just so amazing the history you told. So sad about the owners of the general store. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. Be safe on your adventures because the list of wild animals that you said are very dangerous. Hope you are packing just in case you come across and are attacked. 🥰👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Nay old timer, that old jail would have a chamber pot in it. Would be stinky. Hopefully you didn't eat any hot peppers. 😜 Always loved it down there. Beautiful country. 😊
Visited Ruby couple of years ago. Absolutely fantastic ghost town. I'd go as far as stating the best ghost town out there. They really tried to preserve it as much as possible. Met Leslie the caretaker. Very nice lady - hope she's doing fine!
Hello Steve and Andrea well very interesting at the ICE factory there would be water that went into what they call the can's and the piping would have compressed ammonia that was circulate throughout the pipes these type of cans would have blocks of ice that would be 325 lb in weight. And as to the jail mystery the chamber pot was used 🤔p.s. That alone would make the people in jail think twice 😂Love Ghost towns and reliving what it was like in the spot ⛏️💰
Would have love to see a bit more of that route you took to this marvelous site. So much to see, and so much still untouched, except by time! Was this filmed with a wider lens than usual? Anamorphic perhaps?
Maybe they had a pot to pee in. Otherwise, they relieved themselves in the corner. Wow, can you imagine the oder? Nope, that would singe my nose hairs.

Now that’s a lot of ice!
Would have love to see a bit more of that route you took to this marvelous site. So much to see, and so much still untouched, except by time!
Was this filmed with a wider lens than usual? Anamorphic perhaps?
We did a different anamorphic ratio to fill the entire screen
Neet place, I have not been there in about 12 years. I heard or read that it's going to be closed to the public.
Apparently so Eric. Fortunately we got there in time
Gly has his new "Schnozzol-Vision" Torpedo Canera
Has he used it yet? Now he’s putting out 2 a week we have to play catch up
The Second Video he's done with it, as I'm aware....

imagie just having the old carbide lights to work by.My fatherinlaw worhwd in the coal mines using the old dangerous open carbide headlamp.❤️❤️❤️
I know, that seems so weird to think about. We need flashlights that make it seem like daylight before even considering going into a mine!
last i herd there was a surviving rose bush there it would be nice to propagate or at least take a wee on.
If I was in good health and going to all of these places, I would have taken a Metal detector in search of silver and gold coins myself!
Never seen a ice machine in the desert that old?
Why do you show he nose of a old Ford truck in the thumbnail and not in your video?
Sorry Jan. We took the pic for the thumb the town is further in
That refrigerator was made by Servel, that means it was gas powered, propane or natural gas.
I'm sure they had a bucket in the jail to piss in.
Probably!
Ruby is private property and is now closed to unscheduled visitors.
@@AmericanMadeMud we had to make an appointment when we went a few years ago.
19:59 That's more "Canadian Frank" territory rhan it is "Gly" territory.
🤣

🤣 rather stinky Diane.
Is this BLM? OR just preserved by good people
It’s private. Have to contact them to get in
