Nice vid mate hope you are well . I use the curve h in xl it get me up early about 13knotts with a 6m @95kg I have a 7m but never use it I feel I can get up as easy with the 7 and curve h those big wings are frustrating at time if the wind isn't strong enough and doesn't hold them up . Have a awesome week 😊
Hey Chris. Thanks a lot! Hope you're doing well too! The Curve H is a bit more lifty I think, so maybe better suited to light wind. You are right, big wings can be frustrating if there is not enough wind!
Hi Ken. I got the Zuma mainly as a board to learn SUP foiling. I got it really cheap on discount. Also it will be the board I can use to teach my wife how to wingfoil. Using it for light wind wingfoiling myself was more of an afterthought. If there is not enough wind it is just more comfortable to be on than my 95L lemon. (Easy to do non-foiling jibes for example)
i have superpower 7.5 v3 - love it but wouldnt want to go bigger for light wind (just physically its a big enough wing to manage). after searching and watching dozens of vids on downwind boards and low wind I've biten the bullet and just ordered hipe cruzader 7ft11 inflatable - i want to do more low wind wing foiling at my local lake.I have some different front wings to try but im also going to go back to my x over xxl - that should give plenty of lift but not sure about glide - we shall see. Im 110kg wet and 6ft 2. I know what will happen - i will probably end up buying the hm mast, titanium fuselage and maybe sirus xxl wing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i need money to grow on trees 🙄
Yeah the X-Over has tons of lift but probably not much glide because of it's thickness. So I assume in the lulls it might require a good amount of pumping. Have you tried it? I was just as tempted as you are and got the Sirus XXL and the Cruzader recently. Video coming soon. :-)
It may be that the low end of my foil is not the best, so with a different foil you may be able to extend the wind range a little more

Thanks for your review. Why do you use the Zuma and not lance for example?

Did you try downwind board?
No, not yet. At some I will get one for sure though.

First you must learn wingfoil and then to give advice
