It will be interesting to see how Koloss culture develops as we move into Era 3. I would love to see a Koloss-blooded misting/ferring amongst our group of protagonists, especially if they’re challenging the preconceived notions of their people by the other cultures and of us as readers.
Me, a complete noob to the series: "I bet they're the setting's legally distinct not orcs." Me after watching the video: "Yup, they even have legally distinct not half orcs."
This is a great breakdown, and I do enjoy it. Maybe slow down a bit on the descriptions and explanations? If I didn't already know (or at least understand the basics) for this stuff, I would certainly be rewinding to hear you over and over throughout the video. It felt like you were more or less racing to get through all the information. My only other main gripe is your use of the word "Undoubtedly" right in the beginning, because you pronounced it "Undoubtably." Huge peeve of mine.
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it. I'll try slowing down in future videos. Also, I didn't even realize I pronounced undoubtedly wrong lol... I'm going to fix that 😅
So Era 2 Spoilers 'Soul Surgery' allows for low charge allomancy to stolen from a user... could you steal a regular human attribute from a living person and give it to someone else without horribly disfiguring them? Super soldiers anyone?
I hope one day we get to see the cousins of the Koloss, with the other 'Attribute' metals of Tin, Copper and Zinc. I'm especially interested in what 4 Copper Spikes would do, since they steal 'Memory, Intelligence and Mental Fortitude'. Perhaps they would be an inversion of the Koloss, becoming incredibly smart but having very weak bodies?
Koloss blooded people aren't the offspring of a human and a Koloss. They are the offspring of 2 Koloss. Koloss are just transformed humans so they give birth to Koloss blooded humans. They have to undergo the transformation to become full Koloss.

I love that idea! I've never thought about that, it would be very interesting to see.
Koloss are really grim. What freaks me out most are people with Koloss blood. Someone had a baby with one of these.
