Thank you Marta. I have been at mixed media for a while now, but we all need to go back to the beginning and realize that cutting corners does not often work. Following these steps is so great that we can follow as beginners or oldies. It reminded me to stop trying to rush things and take my time. it is not a race but a process. Lovely finished piece. I think colouring is always hardest part for me. I have been known to completely gesso over and redo a few times until I'm happy. I watch on my TV because you deserve the best and you are much more interesting than tv programmes! 🥰 🖥❤
Oh, the beauty of gesso! Lol! You'll get it! Never give up! Maybe look at the color wheel to decide if you want same color family or complementary colors before you apply the colors? Either way, gesso is amazing! Fresh start! Lol! I love it!

Thank you for breaking down your process for mixed media. Even though I’ve done a number of pieces I often lose my way so this is helpful for many of us - not just beginners. Why have I never thought of using my ink pads to colour a mixed media piece? Brilliant idea! And, of course, the finished piece is gorgeous! It is so you, Marta, with the delicate colouring and just the right number of elements. Sending lots of 💕 💕 and 🤗

I think these beginner style videos are fantastic Marta. The process as you go through becomes very clear. I have t done this type of mixed media before but I think I will have a go thanks to you 😊. For further videos I would love to see a video or two where you explain why you say no to adding something or you change the position of something. In this video you discarded the orange butterfly for a lighter coloured one. What made you do that? Thanks so much for all your great help and great to watch videos!

I'm an absolute beginner and what I enjoy most ist casually learning about how to handle products and when and why you're using which product while making a project. I highly enjoy that aspect and love it when you explain techniques in your videos without making the video about that exclusively.
