    Regarding work hours, I'd say most employers are willing to work in some sort of flexibility if you need it. Some full time contracts are only 37.5 hours, others will let you work from home at times if you can, some part time jobs will allow for late starts and early finishes for parents or days off during the week. It just depends on the type of job and how you approach explaining why you want to be flexible. Some companies give more sick days and more annual leave too 😊

    Thank you for another awesome video on moving to NZ! My husband has over 10 years experience in the CNC industry, and there seems to be a huge shortage for his skill. I'm a photographer, and I have been wondering what the job market is like for photographers. I love doing family shoots, new borns, etc. How is the market in NZ for freelance photographers? Sorry for the super long question lol!

    Hi Jen! Have you got all three citizenships now?South African, British and NZ?

    • @AThousandWords
      @AThousandWords  5 років тому

      Nope, just British and NZ, our SA citizenship fell away when we became NZ citizens. We didn't feel we wanted to keep it.

      Is this any good? www.glassdoor.co.nz/Job/hydrographic-surveyor-jobs-SRCH_KO0,21.htm
      Try TradeMe and Seek to look for jobs, then check which agency is advertising that job. Here's one www.seek.co.nz/jobs-in-construction/surveying
