I think the other competitors showed in theirs face that they were worried because he was sick of his throat, because all of them knew about that, and also because of the meaning of the song!!!🙏🏻👏🏻❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️👍🏻very professional my beautiful Dimash!!!🇲🇽
Так не может быть, но так есть. Димаш- ГЕНИЙ, просто гений. Леонардо да Винчи, Моцарт, Димаш иногда рождаются на нашей Земле. Редко, но рождаются. Нам всем просто повезло.
On The Singer 2017 (ep 8), he had lost his voice completely just a couple of days before the show. Even the morning of the show, he still couldn't talk, and had to get a throat injection just to loosen up the muscles enough to get any sound out. Some of the other contestants tried to help with Chinese herbs to ease his throat as well. He didn't want to let the fans down, so on stage he ignored the pain and kept smiling so the audience wouldn't know, and he forced his voice as much as he could in order to give a good performance. It wasn't until he was completely out of view of the audience in the back halls of the building that he dropped the smiles grabbing his throat in severe pain. He's a true professional, always giving his audience his best efforts. Even more daring, the song was written and performed by a previous winner of the competition, so you can imagine the pressure to do the song justice... but, being Dimash, he gave it a very heartfelt tribute in his performance. Greetings of Peace to Dimash…! And to all the personnel’s who worked with you, and all others who did the translation, produced videos and uploaded it on line. My heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public. I still browse Dimash music videos from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength he had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. I admire greatly Dimash strong will and commitment to his career, though he is not feeling well in this performance but still he pursues it successfully. The discipline, courage, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his singing career to the best of his ability the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his listeners and viewers around the world especially the young will learn something from his optimistic views in pursuing his career, his persistency, courage, creativity and perseverance. His great work and labors are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash, to his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the singer and the content of its music. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 20 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted but his hard work and years of practice and experiences proves it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of this music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about this music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. For all those who read these reflections and commentaries of mine about this piece of music performed by Dimash. If you think it is helpful for you, for your family and friends you can share it to them as you please, and I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your own personal comments and critics to this commentary and reflection of mine is very much welcome and highly appreciated too. Song of Dimash “DAYBREAK” is based on a true story about a boy who lost his parents instantly because of an accident but later he was adopted by a person of goodwill. (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song: I like this music because it reminds me once again the wonders of Gods Providence and His Tender Loving Care) Life in itself is so precarious, fragile and delicate, meaning that we don’t have any power at all to hold of it, even though we try our very best to protect and take care of it. Also, at any time we lost it instantly thru many unexpected circumstances, probably by accidents, natural calamities, illness and old age or maybe not any of these reasons, because in reality, death comes at any moment in our life like a thief in the night. It is hidden to us this great mystery, and I believed it is good for us, so that we will not be fearful to journey towards life but instead we will be confident and hopeful. When death comes, our age, status, possessions, and health don’t matter. So, what is the challenge here is that… we try to prepare ourselves at all times so that we will not be caught by surprise but rather accepts and welcomes it in peace and serenity. Sometimes Life’s unexpected circumstances are so mysterious, unthinkable and even will shock us up. Whatever our circumstances and situations maybe, we should remember that… God is with us, and we are His own. He never leave us alone, He always send somebody to help us on the way towards our life’s journey both in joys and in difficulties too. Even though we can’t see Him with our senses but I believed that Gods providential tender loving care is always there to help us thru His many instruments and mediation by sending us person’s into our life on behalf of Him that we’ve never expected. Once again, thank you for your music and service to us. Rest assured of my support with you. God Bless..!. With Gratitude, Ester Rabi, Philippines
I love the orchestra on Singer too. Dimash keeps an orchestra with him at his concerts which I think is wonderful. I thought he did amazing job considering he did not have a voice at all that morning. I would like to know what was in that Chinese Herbal formula they gave him. It worked! Are you wondering how he can sound better...Good idea watching back to back. This concert had me wondering how such a man could have such a BIG voice. It was stunning. An operatic showing in one person and in ONE song. Jerod, it was a pleasure watching your reaction. Please continue with Singer 2017; you are almost done. The last two countable songs, Confessa/Diva Dance and Tribute to M.J. has Dimash (and all the Singer performers) pulling out all the stops. You are almost there. I will keep on watching. Your insight is great. DKIFC/USA
Hello Jerod, thanks for your reaction 😘, he's one the best vocalist and singer to this world, please continue with reactions of Dimash 😍, I love your voice, greeting from Argentina 😘 DKIFC and DKAmerica Latina Dears 😘
Thank you Jerod for your continued reaction and interest listening to Dimash. Thank you for listening and comparing to both versions and performances on Daybreak. I appreciate your honest opinion.
Thank you for your reaction and comments....anyone who can sing like that with sore throat would be genius to me....this is very sad song but very beautiful and Dimash ,as usual put all his emotions into it...we don't need translation of the song...we can feel it..not just anyone is capable of this...
.Appreciation is a wonderful thing: it makes what’s excellent in others belong to us as well. Thank you so much for your reactions look forward to the next one. DKIFC - UK
Daybreak - This song is based on a true story, about a cable car accident that took the lives of 14 people. 2 of those were a couple, who lifted their son to safety in their last moments. They did not survive. The composer and original singer, Han Hong, later adopted the orphaned child.
❤️❤️❤️ Thank you, Jerod, for your great reactions! Im happy that you got back to Dimash and have seen a couple of his incredible performances. I know his English pronunciation was a little bit of an initial detriment for you but you stuck with our recommendations and continued. Thank you! Now you are getting a real taste of his phenomenal talent and work ethic. ❤️❤️❤️
nice to see you back Jerod, I am one of the fans..dimash has a very beautiful voice and is able to give life in every song he sings..that's why we love him, please the next song is Unforgettable Day version of Gakku Festival, the song he made when he was a teenager , dimash created the highest record in D8 .... thank you very much, greetings from Indonesia / DKFC
Thanks Jerod - a lot of his songs have grief in them - this is about a childs grief at losing his parents in a tragic accident - saving him etc...his high notes are generally used to convey extreme emotion - thanks so much :)
Dimash can sing the same Song with different arrangement. He like a new versions and new style when he perform and what ever his arrangement is , was all good, he knows he can do very well. Thanks for nice reactions. In that show" I am a Singer " in China, he was sick and he said he have no voice and seen by a Doctor, also some of the Singers contestant gave him something to make him feel better and supported him because they Love him like a brother.
Please react to Dimash performance for unforgettable Day at Gakku concert where he hit his highest note. It will be an unforgettable experience for you😊DKIFC/SG
I enjoy your reactions because you are a singer yourself. May I suggest that you go to Gloria Wu you tube channel for the very sad, true story about the song. (This is just for you) You will have an even greater appreciation for Dimash as he talks about the song and family. Gloria is a wonderful dear. She tells the tory behind many of the songs and gives English subtitles.
Hi Jerod, thank you for your reaction! This a very emotional song! It was a great idea to do the Singer version and the Bastau version! Especially when he was very ill on the singer show and you can hear the difference! Dimash is incredible and beyond amazing! He is one of a kind! I wait for the next one of Dimash!! Greetings from DKIFC/The Netherlands 😊🇳🇱💖
Thank you a lot for your comment and for the phrase you coined: 'one man opera'. Great!. Yes, Singer episode for him was really hard. There is a video that shows he was sick in the morning, 'no voice' he said. The doctor recommended 'no high notes, no effort', but it was impossible given the situation. And yes, he struggled in that one. His performance in Bastau was fantastic! Flawless as usual. Thank you again!
Great reaction. Thank you Jerod. The Singer 2017 performance was "the show must go on" situation and Dimash being the professional did not want to disappoint. For the concert performance he was well and was able to change up the song as he likes to do to keep things fresh and exciting for the audience.
Nice reaction! Yes he actually lost his voice on the day before the performance on the Singer show and had to have 2 injections on his neck. I suggest you search " Gloria Wu's channel for the background information and story of this song " day break". You will like the story about this song !
Its was based on cable car accident in 1999 in China . 14 people died including children and parents. Han Hon wrote this song and adapted one child ! How the child feeling facing this accident holding parents hands but loosing them and waiting for daybreak how to survive further to live alone on this world. Bastau concert is World Epic::::Dimash song his full heart out !!! The Legend!!!!
Great reaction Jerod, love that you put them both in the same video. Same thing you could maybe do with a Diva Dance from Singer and the same song at the Bastau concert, which was the best until now, in my opinion. Also that he performed it after almost 2 hours of constant singing, it's awesome. It was great in the Singer, but at Bastau he killed it completely, phenomenal. Thank you, keep on, greetings. DKIFC/Croatia
Loved that you did the comparison Jerod. Dimash had lost his voice in Singer and the throat doctor after giving an injection said no more high notes. You see how Dimash listened that. At the show one of his competitors had a really expensive but very effective liquid herb for Dimash. He just put a drop in his throat and that was it. By the time he was ready to sing, he sounded amazing. Thanks for your reaction to Dimash. I always enjoy watching your reactions. Jackie DKIFC/USA
If you watch the Gloria Wu UA-cam channel and see the behind the scene video for episode 8, you'll see that he starts the day with no voice, zero. They have to take him to the hospital and the doctor gives him a shot and tells him no big notes. It's amazing that he was able to sing at all.
He was more than tired or under the weather on the Singer ep - if you see the whole episode he literally had NO voice that morning - they took him to doctor who said no high notes and gave him an injection. Amazing he was able to perform. Enjoyed your reaction.
You should react to one of his opera performances where his friend asked him to be a guest on his friend’s opera competition. I will link when I find it.
Hi! Loved this reaction! ❤️ could you please react to the singer diva dance vs his Bastia concert diva dance? I think listening them back to back you can see the difference like in this video ❤️
Gracias por la reacción... Daybreak es una canción triste y poderosa...toca profundo el alma... beautiful

De nada 😃
Thank you Bill! 🤗🤗
Dimash singing is Godsend to mankind hi low soprano awesome a hard working talented artist great reaction from new Zealand dears
In Bastau 2017, he was perfectly good!!!As he showed us!!!

Yes, you are right. Dimash is one-man-opera.
Thank you Jerod so much! This was a wonderful idea to compare two brilliant perfomances of Dimash. I like your video. you are awesome :)
Great reaction Jerod! I love this performance in Bastau concert!
Thank you very much for great reactions!!! 👍👍👍
I do think that with his voice not at it's best during the Singer version it added a little more of that sad sound to the performance.
Great reaction. Thank you Jerod. The Singer 2017 performance was "the show must go on" situation and Dimash being the professional did not want to disappoint. 😘👏👏👏👏👏😘👍
He was more than tired or under the weather on the Singer ep - if you see the whole episode he literally had NO voice that morning - they took him to doctor who said no high notes and gave him an injection. Amazing he was able to perform. Enjoyed your reaction.
👏👏👏👏👏💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks Jerod, nice reaction. On the singer, we saw the doctor tell him " no high notes" ,while he was sick, but that was never going to happen.
This was His first concert.Bastau means Beggining. This song was the first Chinese song he ever heard when he was only 10 y.o.
One-man Opera! Love that. Gonna call him that too. Thanks so much. You're great. Love your comments.
Thumbs up Jerod !
Thank you for your reaction!!!)))
Love "one-man opera."
Hi Jerod .. Love your reactions ! Liked & Subscribed from Dimash Dear (Singapore) 😉
You should react to one of his opera performances where his friend asked him to be a guest on his friend’s opera competition. I will link when I find it.
That'd be cool!

Hey, make a reaction to Dimash ' s SOS in Slavic Bazaar 2018
IT WAS GORGEOUS
He had to go to the hospital and get shots in his throat because he had lost his voice in the first version you reacted to. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your knowledgeable reactions! Would love you to react to Dididau from the Singer 2017 show if you haven’t.
Gakku's Unforgettable Day is great to. Again, it would be cool if you compared the Singer version to the Concert version.
Yes go to Daybreak the story behind the Daybreak by Gloria Wu.
