Awesome builds & cars!! Simply jaw dropping bro, man your club got some skills yo!!! I was sitting here amazed & drooling too...lol!! Once I get my antivirus up again, don't when I'll have the cash, I got some questions to ask you after I get my merc kit & speaking of the merc, wait till you see what I've done to it now!!! Anyways, I'm making this quick so keep up the great work & more updates!! Peace out!!!
man you guys are puttin it down hard bro', awesome skillz , wow, can't wait to see the out come of all those killa builds , keep it up ^^^^ homie , peace out !!!!!!!!!
Yeah, I knew it was going to be wild thang as soon as I seen the front clip, its looking good. I'd appreciate it if you could find out for me, I'm trying to build a scale replica of my truck, and if I can buy a step side it would help, but if not I will have to make one. Thanks man, You guys keep up the good work.
@low2show thanx bro'...jus keep workin on ur skillz bro'. my first custom build was my '65 Chevy...compared to my '99 Silverado, i've come a long way. now i wanna re-build my '65 Chevy wit a new kit...do it up rite dis time. lol...but yea bro', jus keep at it an u'll get dere soon enough. laterz...
that's cool bro'...i went a different route, using a '86 Monte converting it to a '85 Cutlass. its a lot more body work then using the '87 GN...i like the challenge though.
thanx bro'...some rims we get from scaledreams, an others from the one an only model master Armondo Flores. scaledream wheels will run u $10 a set and Armondo's will run u $50 a set...Armondo's wheels r all photo-etch, so u would have to put them together urself. as far as paintin rims goes...i never done it myself, but i would just remove the lip an paint the spokes.
yea bro thats what i did im workin on an 84 stock gran prix its gonna be modified into a lowrider and the secret to the cutlass is you have to use the 87 gran national body and cutt and you can use maskin tape to make the sapes of the cuttlass or if u have a better idea then that might work for you but i did a 83 regal 81 impala 2dr from the 87 caprice and the 86 ls it worked great for me but anyway goodluck..
do you have any pics of builds to show case? layitlow is the site the club originated from, but now you can find us on facebook. you can also find others from layitlow on facebook. if you can show case your builds there, im sure one of the clubs be interested in having you join.

@spinmark1980 thanx bro'...L.U.G.K. appreciates it. jus keep workin on ur skillz bro'...it'll come around to ya. i've come far wit my builds...i notice da change. frm my '65 Chevy to my '99 Chevy...dere is a big Big BIG difference.
@spinmark1980 most of dem kits belong to da guys of L.U.G.K. an yea...dey had to modify da MC to a LS an da Grand Prix. da Cutlass is actually a resin kit...dey aint cheap if ur lookin to buy one.
@cwazmann1 thanx bro'...da guys do some awesome builds. our club President is none other den da guy who was featured n LRB mag. he started da club around dis time last yr...dey're all doin awesome work an bring progress pics by da day. so as soon as more of dese builds get done...da move videos i'll b makin. lol... frm da sound of it bro'...dat merc must b comin along nice. i can't wait to c it...i'll b round to answer any questions u have. laterz for now...

@TheFhernan123 thanx bro'...da interior work is done by my boy Tingos a.k.a. @spinmark1980 im not sure bro'...u mite wanna check out e-bay. dat cutlass body is really hard to come by...i know of one, a built kit. im not sure if someone already got it...but it was on da Layitlow classifieds. mite wanna check dere...an maybe even ask around an c if anyone is willin to sell u one.
@mds13696 most of thos builds aren't mine...we got a guy who paints. a lot of maskin...air brush paint jobs. a lot of patients too...it took me 3 hrs jus to mask off a simple pattern. i know its gonna take a lot longer wit da next step i have n mind...but yea, its all bout patients an maskin.
nah, im not from Dallas. but the club im with is...the main branch. as for chrome trim...a lot of modelers use bare metal foil for trim work, u can find some at Scale Dreams dot com. i go a different route though...i use chrome tape, used for A/C units. its a lot thicker then bmf...its more like foil then bubble gum raper. lol...
as i told Peta659, none of the guys of L.U.G.K. are willing to sell a build at the moment...also layitlow model forums usually some builders are willing to sell, if you ever get a chance to check it out.
