The best part about Bernie is everyone loves Bernie. From Mattingly to Jeter, nobody has a negative word, they all love Bernie, he was their friend, he loved baseball, he loved his team, he loved New York, he had a loving spirit that infected everyone around him.
Favorite player growing up. This highlight was a treat to watch. Congrats on a great career Bernie. At least put him on the ballot. Not many have his post season resume. You can argue he's a top 10ish post season hitter of all time.
i was tearing up...watching these videos. i grew up watching Bernie play baseball, the most humble and underrated player of all time. I am disgusted with the fact on how they wont consider him i the HOF! till this day, he ranks third of all time in Homeruns in the post season. Without Bernie, the yankess would have never won 4 world series. these are facts. Its complete disrespect to this man and his career achievements. absolute CLUTCH player. would kill to have him on the yankees today. He was over shadowed by all the PED users! he NEVER USED PEDs!! open them books back up ASAP!!!
A lot of these clips took me back too! Eight straight years over .300 🤯 So many clutch October Home runs Always did it with a quiet confidence, cool as a cucumber. Love him.
@@romowasbetterthanaikman3932 what the dude commented saying Bernie was hella underrated and I agreed saying Soriano is also a yankee I remember being hella underrated
A shameful Hall of Fame snub. Not only was he clutch at bat, in the bases and in the field, he was a gentleman and true sportsman❤️ Yes, thank you Bernie! And he can shred, I’ve got his CD’s🩷
Somehow there is people in Twitter slandering his name saying he was not a good defender. He was great. Unfortunately he had to compete against Griffey and Edmonds
Will always remember a sensational diving catch of a line drive in the gap and Tim McCarver's comment at the time about the catch and then noting, "and the score is 7-1" (Yanks in the lead). He out ran a lot of balls in CF
Diehard yank fan since 1990. My fave top 5 players are 1. Donnie Baseball 2. Bernie Williams 3. Derek Jeter 4. Alphonso Soriano 5. Hideki Matsui Hon mention Jimmy Key
1:44 Johnson and Williams will now be known as Station 51 because they both worn number 51. So it’s like Johnson was Engine 51 and Williams was Squad 51. Lol. Also Randy Mantooth, Kevin Tighe, Michael Norell, Mike Stoker, Marco Lopez, and Tim Donolly would all be very impressed with this scene seeing the Johnson and Williams wearing the same number on two different teams in the same stadium that the Yankees were hosted at. So Station 51 KMG365
He'd make connect with a HR swing and he'd be running out of the box as soon as the bat made contact. Old baseball was the best, before it became a sport of greedy show boaters

Underrated icon
It’s sinful that he is not in the Hall of Fame!

My favorite Yankee player. He was so quiet and respectful. Loved Bernie.
He was on the ballot but received a low percentage of votes, so they kicked him off
Everyone loves Bernie. He's one of the most universally respected players of all time, he's like Rizzo.
Bernie Williams : Thank You
I won a painting of Bernie when I was in 3 grade it is still hanging on my wall I will never forget this man’s greatness!
Bernie Williams was awesome one of my favorite players
So many clutch hits. Truly a legend.

Absolute beast on those late 90s championship teams
Bernie played the game with Beautiful Grace!! Made baseball look too easy!! What a player!!! No Dynasty without Bernie!!!
A true Yankee. Played hard.
Class. Never showed up an opponent. Clutch.
Most underrated player from that dynasty.
Him or Soriano
Alfonso Soriano wasn't part of Yankees dynasty. Zero rings
@@jasonjenkins8910 Did you look at the title of the clip? Bernie Williams not Soriano.
@@drefore2642 Bernie. Look at the title of the clip. Did you even watch it??

Bro was hitting outrageous bombs from both sides. Outrageous
Man absolutely bro was mashing
This is mostly his Hitting Highlights. This man ran like a deer and waved off O'neil most the time lol. He made huge plays in the whole outfield.
And Paul Oneill was a solid defender in RF might I add..which shows just how good Bern baby Bern was out there in cf waving him off so often
Somehow there is people in Twitter slandering his name saying he was not a good defender. He was great. Unfortunately he had to compete against Griffey and Edmonds
He’d start out slow and the hit the afterburner
@@jonathancruz3471 Bernie got criticized because he did not have a good arm for an outfielder but he made up for it with his speed.

King of boring greatness.
Bernie in my opinion is the number 1 reason yanks were champs in 1996
If a marathon runner was a baseball player
I miss the hell out of bernie williams
The home run with people in monument park is crazy
Bernie baseball!
