From what I read, Roger started using PEDs during the middle of the 98 season. So from 86 to 97, he had around 230 wins and 4 Cy Young Awards. Those numbers are somewhat comparable to Roy Halliday who had little over 200 wins and 2 Cy Young's and also in the HOF. So he should definitely get in just on his first 11 seasons alone.
Roger Clemens to me is a hall of famer. You cannot tell the story without the Rocket. He should be in and I believe sometime in the near future eventually he’ll be in.
Thanks for this. I knew he was a beast and threw a lot of "chin music," but he was So dominant. Those games where he had 10+ K's, the batters were just shaking their heads in disbelief and probably rage. When he was on, he was unhittable.
THE GREATEST RIGHT HANDED PITCHER OF ALL TIME AND ONE OF THE GREATEST COMPETITOR'S EVER WHAT A CAREER WELL OVER 35O WINS FOR HIS CAREER THIS MAN WAS A FLAT OUT BEAST
I think other players need deserved to get in as well. Especially those kept out not related to baseball or cheating. If these ball players carry great stats even if you disagree with there views unrelated to baseball, they should get in!!!
Roger Clemens won 7 Cy young award but never threw a no hitter Nolan Ryan threw 7 No hitters but never won a Cy young award 2 of the best pitchers in Astros history
Formal Royals 3rd baseman Joe Randa told me Clemens was the 2nd nastiest pitch he’d ever faced. Tim Wakefields Knuckler being the filthiest. His reasoning was Wakefield could control what side of the plate the ball would float to and thats a pitch you kinda just throw in the middle of the plate and pray it doesn’t have any rotation. You’re not even supposed to be able to predict where the pitch will go as the pitcher but TW could.
This is where the DH rule allows pitchers to throw at hitters with no repercussions. Clemens throws at hitter's head, the opposing pitcher can't throw at Clemens head. It's insane.
Yankees: we have roger clemons Diamondbacks: we have randy johnson classic baseball edit: that last shot... clemons even kinda walks like babe ruth, shoulders slouched, a little dragging of the feet, bigger frame that sweeps left to right every step... pretty cool
The rocket should 100% be in the HOF no doubt. The same as MLB owes Sosa and McGuire millions of dollars for putting baseball back on top in 98 PED’s or not they brought fans back, love or hate it, disagree if you like but numbers don’t lie
You can tell by his body type when he started using roids. He got to be built like a linebacker. But he was a hall of famer before he ever touched it. It is flat out criminal that Pete Rose, Clemens, McGuire and Bonds are not in the hall. They set records in baseball that may never be matched and it’s nonsensical that MLB turns a blind eye to steroid use and then sanctimoniously decides “we’ve been against it all along”. Pure rubbish. Along with MLB deciding to get political and moving the all star game away from Atlanta, their ignorant stance on steroids was one of the stupidest things they’ve done.
Its hilarious reading the crybabies claiming he was on steroids....most of the crybabies never having done ANYTHING themselves but think their 'ethical opinions' matter
Bummer Man, Find your scuffed up ball in the parking lot, If Roger Clemons doesn't accidentally make the HOF, nonsense, I grew up thinking Roger Clemons was the greatest of all time, oh well, he wasn't interested in playing for my my Kansas City Royals. 👍

100%
Probably after he dies. Its a spite thing like with pete rose at this point
He was good for as long as he was because he cheated. He used PEDs.
Maybe the Hall could have an addition that would house all the cheaters.
Roger Clemens was a beast. Hall of Fame.
came here to say the same thing.
I still can’t believe this guys performance, one of if not the most dominant pitcher to ever do it
Greatest pitcher of all time case closed

Never mind the Hall of Fame. Rocket’s in the PANTHEON. The top 5% of HOFamers.
I don’t know baseball or don’t watch it but man the way that ball just glides in the air watching the pitchers reactions he had to be a great.
In the first bunch of clips the ump was giving him the outside call and he just painted it. Right on the money
"ROGER CLEMENS IS IN GEORGE'S BOX, AND ROGER CLEMENS IS COMING BACK! OH MY GOOD, GOODNESS GRACIOUS!"
he was so accurate with that blazing fastball.
He is truly a hall of famer without a doubt.
I discount everything after 1997 from this cheater my God he had his wife shot up with steroids first so he could monitor her progress

The best part is the hitters reactions!
Thanks dude!
Look at his numbers. HoF numbers. That 7 years from '86 - '92, he was the Terminator.
Dam I didn’t know he was on the juice as a Red Sox. 2:50…. Wow bud
He wasn’t ! When he became a blue Jay he started juicing !
Genuis athlete #Roger ⚾️⚾️⚾️ special human 👍💚
The stuff and the command. Remember, this is back when hitters really really did not want to strike out, unlike today where "strikeouts don't matter"
What's that supposed to mean? Batters today don't want to strike out either
SEVEN CY Youngs, enough said! Best pitcher ever!
He also used roids

Yup, it's amazing what steroids will do for your pitching game.
Right. Ask Bonds, Sosa and McGwire how much steroids helped their pitching game.
I dont know why people judge his steroid use when all the hitters were on it
