I’m 63 and for the first time in my life, I’ve let my hair grow long. I’ve had friends tell me that I’m too old to have long hair. I’m at the point in life where I just don’t care about what people think. As long as I’m pleasing the Lord, I’ll do what I want to do. I LOVE your dreads! You are a beautiful woman of God. ~Kentucky Angie
I married at 67. to a university professor of art . As retirement approached, he expressed a desire to let his hair grow long. He did, so I did, as well. He wears his glorious grey hair in a simple ponytail at the back. Very hippie, as he will always be. I pull mine to the side and also wear a pony tail, with pretty covered elastic. Husband LOVES brushing my hair, and I love it, too. We enjoy the freedom from styling and expensive haircuts. I have several inches cut off two or three times a year. I'm with you. God gave us hair, let's use it to glorify HIM. (I'm now 75)
Let your long hair be free! I'm 67, and long hair is so much easier! No washing everyday or expensive haircuts. Ponytail to pull it up out of Ohio sweat, even love my free silver highlights!
Me too I am 63 and I let my hair grow out and now it down almost to my waist and it naturally gray and beautiful!! Yes some say I’m too old!! Oh well going to do me!! Lol
Heather I guess there are still people out there that never learned the old saying that if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all. If you love your dreads that’s all that matters! Most importantly GOD loves you just as you are ❤️
You are beautiful inside and out. Hair, no hair, lashes or no lashes. Just amazes me how insensitive and rude people can be. Cowardly because they do it in the shadows behind a keyboard. Shame
I am sure with all you went thru, knowing what a walking miracle you are, you never lost a nano-second of time thinking, "I wish I had spent more time worrying about what random youtube viewers think of my hair". I am glad you don't let the mean people get you down.
hahaha AMEN!!!!! And, I wish I could tell those folks who do hate watch people..... that one day when they wake up in an ICU bed, the LAST thing on their mind will be "man, I wish I could just leave one ore hate comment for so-and-so!" hahaha LAST THING! Time is the most precious thing we possess, and at any minute it can be taken away, like it was for Matt. I can't waste a minute anymore. xoxo
I think your hair looks great...I have horrible sparse and thin hair and just keep it under a stretchy headband like you showed or a knit hat. I am in awe of your boldness as you heal...it is incredibly beautiful...God is blessed you immensely.
Thank you! I appreciate that....... it is worth every insult or backlash I may get if being vulnerable helps one person out there struggling, like me. God covers me in his protection.....he brought me through all of this to help others behind me going through it.....thats the blessing in the suffering. Thank you for sharing that with me. You are not alone. xoxox And maybe you may want to try being a hippie mama with dreads like me! hahaha
Dear Sweet Heather, you have been through more than any one person or family should ever experience. God bless his tender mercies that he has for us! You look beautiful and you must be happy and do what makes you content. Continued blessings to you and your family! 🌻🌺🌻
You look gorgeous in your dreds! You know the older I get, the less I care about what people think of me. I'm 72 and have long hair - I keep it mostly in a braid - I don't have time for styling shorter hair and it just is easier for me. Your smile is so beautiful Heather! I would LOVE you to video how your friend puts them in.
Heather is a joy to see you smiling and yes I love you new you and the hair makes you look not only Beautiful , but Younger. keep loving your self . Be Blessed always. Ninette Bird - The Caribbean Wife- Tx
I'm 60. I follow u. AND so happy u talked to me about this and love that u made this video just an hour ago. I need this. I had lots if questions u have just answered for me. My appt to get mine done is 2 weeks lady making my existensions . I AM SO HAPPY U MADE this video
YAY!!!! well I dedicated this video in your honor! I get a lot of questions..... it's sometimes so hard to type it all out.... and sometimes I dont know if they are actually genuine or not.... your email moved me to make this at 5am this morning. HAHAHHAA so much love to you, Sis!!!!
I love love love you. My hubby is sitting here watching your video too. He read your pm to me and Said she's made this video to help you awesome she is amazing. She has answered alot of questions u been wanting to ask but didn't have anyone. NOW I HAVE HEATHER. WE LOVE U THANK U FOR MAKING ME THIS VIDEO IM SO HONORED IM GONNA TAKE A Before and after. Love u Heather
You are an amazing miracle ❤ like all of us❤ I personally am so grateful you are still here with us, you make this place a better place to be🎉 love you sis! To God be all the Glory, Amen❤ love you so much
AMEN and AMEN!!!!! The Father brought all of you to me....you all covered me in prayers for so long, and they healed me more than I can ever explain. So, thank you for being here with me, it's an honor, truly!
I noticed and loved your dreads, but I had no idea that you had them to help give your hair a rest while you recover (and that they could actually do that). Consider me educated! I'm glad that the rude people aren't making you feel badly, but I'm also glad that you're speaking up about the negativity, as that may help lift the spirits of someone going through something similar, who doesn't have your self-confidence. :)
Amen! YES!!!!! If that hated Jesus, they will hate those who love Him too! It's all good! It's all joy! I really hope I can help anyone who is struggling in some way..... they aren't alone. xoxo
Admittedly, I am not a fan of dreads, however I now have a great appreciation of this hairstyle being a healing element for her scalp and hair. Plus, it heals her hands, fingers, and arms working the oil throuhair. This has been a dread full education. 😄😄😄
Heather. You are such a remarkable Godly lady. Their will always be people who have negative things to say. It's really sad. You have been through hell and back. You deserve all the love. You are such an inspiration. I love your hair so much and you as a person. God bless you.
I think people who leave hate comments are miserable people. After all you've been through, it's shameful that they think they need to throw a dart. You are simply beautiful.
Heather, I love you. I've loved your smile, laughter, silly giggle and energy ever since I discovered your channel years ago when you discussed your fibromyalgia and starting your first few raised beds. After your tragedy, I'm glad to see you have ALL OF IT still. I just started with boho locks last month because I'm trying to maintain a professional look as well as grow my now 1 year old farm. So so so much easier, as you said for yours, and giving my natural hair a break from further damage from the stuff I used for decades as I transition from using a perm. Continue doing you, my sista. I'm so proud of you and all you've done. 🎉
I'm 60 I'm gtn mine done in 2 weeks. I love. Heather and loving hers has convinced me to do it been wanting this for yrs. And yrs. Finally. Ya. Thanks Heather
Heather love them. How long are yours and do they have a blonde blonde, not white blonde ? I have dry scalp and thin hair, think it would help ? You look beautiful. T
As long as you're good thats what matters. You look beautiful. My hair has been falling out and after my husband passed it has gotten worse. You have made me want to see what I can do for myself. Don't always comment but love and watch your videos. Always know how beautiful and loved you are. ❤
yes! they call it a "protective hairstyle" basically your hair is braided and stays braided and away from the elements like hot tools and styling products, hair brushes......
Heather that’s a great attitude to have! That’s right you do everything for you never mind what others say. Your a strong woman to go through everything you had to endure. God bless you and your family and much love🙏❤️
Heather you are beautiful! I have followed you for several years and God has richly blessed you as you have healed so much. Your dreads are beautiful and your eyes look so natural. And your teeth are also beautiful. You have come so far. I hope you enjoy your garden this year as you continue to heal.❤
It definitely could if not done correctly or if you were extensions that are too heavy for your hair. As a kid my mom used to braid my hair with a torn rag she would wet. and I would sleep with this torn sheets in my hair. in the morning she would take the braids out and I would have wavy hair. it is very similar to that. the dread is the 3rd strand in a 3 strand braid. so unless you do it incorrectly or neglect maintaining it, it is just like braiding your hair and keeping it braided and safe. great question though! I wondered the same thing before I tried them. These are super light in weight.
My Momma used to braid our long hair, leaving them in for a week. Now at age 70, my hair is still long and healthy. I only wash it once a week. Heather is spot on about resting our hair. God bless you.
BIG HUGS and much love to you Heather. You are such a gift and such a blessing. I rejoice with you and stand in agreement for everything our Father has done and is doing in your life, you ARE a miracle and God is using you. Stay strong and keep being YOU....BEE-YOU-TIFUL YOU! 🙏 ❣
Heather, I'm so glad you posted this. I absolutely love love your wavy dreads. You look absolutely beautiful 😍. I've been watching you for a while, and I have learned so much from you. I learned how to can dried beans and how to make delicious bread and so many other things, and now here I am 57 yrs old, wanting wavy dreads, hahaha. Being real. You are such an inspiration to many. Like you, I have never liked the word "disability." I worked for a company here in Michigan that employs people with "disabilities," and I always told them we're not disabled but rather we are ability challenged. We're able to do things just in a different way than most. I love your faith in GOD, positivity, and how you just let negativity roll off you. You're such a light in the darkness and plant so many seeds with every video you post. Bless you, Heather, for being a light too many.
I love your attitude. I dreaded my hair 9 years ago at 44 and still love them. Haters can hate. You are truly a daughter of God, strong and beautiful.❤ Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us. You are a great inspiration. Look into a spiralock type hair tie, they work great.
Sadly there will always be discontent people who try to pass it on through being mean to others. Our God gives us the eyes to see the best and not fall into their misery. Keep strong. After all you have been through, your brightness and laugh brings a lot of comfort and encouragement to so many. You are loved!!
I’m about to be 69 in a couple of months- I wish I’d known about this way of healing your hair years ago! I love your hair! It truly suits you!!! Thank u for sharing all that you’ve learned about the dread locks!
I’ve never commented here but have watched you for the last several years and all I can say is - I am so happy you have found a way to help yourself in this way. You are such an amazing human with such a beautiful and raw testament. Thank you for your openness. May Hodge continue to bless you and provide all you and your family need.
I have following you before your accident and I am amazed and in awe of you. I love your hair and you are so beautiful. You and your children have been through so much. It is a joy to see where you are today. God is good!!
Heather you are amazing. Congratulations on your improved speech! Immediately after your implants, talking was new and you explained it would take a while to get used to them. Wow….your speech has improved enormously in just a couple of weeks.…one would never guess all the difficulties you have had to overcome. Sending you love and encouragement from 🇦🇺❤️
awwww thank you!!!! I have a sore spot in my mouth we are trying to get taken care of, I am hoping once that heals when we get my upper denture fitting better, I will be able to talk a bit better. But.... I would rather a lisp than to go back to being in all that pain with broken teeth. I am so grateful that I feel better!
You are such a beautiful lady and an inspiration to others. I am in a stage of life at 58 where my hair is falling out and so thin from medications and this info was extremely helpful and thought provoking for me ... thank you for being you !
Thank you so much! I am glad this was helpful in some way to you, Sis! The shock to my system after the accident sent me into full menopause. So that with the meds, with the grief.... I think I had more missing hair than I had hair! haha This has been so healing for me. eep me posted on how you are doing and if you go for it! hahaha You would rock the dreads!
Thanks for sharing this! I also experience hair loss due to pain meds I had to take for a back injury. I love your hair and lash extensions. As a 66yo, I also don't care or have any desire to listen to negative things. To each their own! 💯❣️
You're very beautiful. You've been through so much! I love seeing your updates and knowing that you and your family are healing, thriving and finding ways to make your life easier... As you know, life is too precious to live it for someone else. Those who feel the need to be nasty and hateful are just miserable... Good for you to disregard them!!! ❤Keep smiling ❤
Your hair is absolutely beautiful!!! ❤ So are you!! U have such a positive attitude considering what uve been through. Ur eyes even smile!! I was in a really bad accident too about 17yrs ago that left me in a coma for almost 2 months. It really took a toll on my hair as well. I didn't know dread locks would help. I'm glad I ran across ur video. ❤ I'll be praying for you! God Bless you!! ❤
You are sooo adorable! Love your hair and lashes ! I wear regular extensions and you’re right, they do let your hair rest. I don’t have to wash my hair near as much. I also don’t have to use a curling iron so much. I use Velcro rollers after drying and they leave my hair so much fuller than a curling iron. Do what makes you smile!❤
I literally LOVE your hair! AMD there comes a time in your life when you realize that opinions of others just does NOT matter! You do you! You are such an inspiration to many…I soo enjoy watching your journey even tho it was NOT in your plans for life. Praise GOD that I found you here on UA-cam!
Love this video. Thank you sweet lady. It was so informative and helpful. I have been considering the hair and lashes too and I'm 66. Due to some health issue my hair as well as lashes has fallen out too and just doesn't look healthy at all. By you sharing your knowledge it helps everyone. You look beautiful and you are a walking miracle indeed. What a good God we have! So thankful He is our Savior! I wish the entire world knew Him as their own. It would solve a lot of ugly comments and negativity in this world and replace it with more joy filled people. Oh how wonderful heaven will be! You keep being your wonderful joy filled self. We love you.
Heather, your hair is sacred and a symbol of power, beauty and healing. A Woman's Glory💗 There are many teachings and practices in our tribal cultures as Native people. Our hair is considered sacred and significant to who we are as an individual, family, and community. In many tribes, it is believed that a person's long hair represents a strong cultural identity. This cultural identity promotes self-esteem, self-respect, A sense of belonging, and a healthy sense of pride. Our hairstyle and ornamentation are guided by the values of our family and tribe. It is a creative form of self expression.😊
I am over 50 and have been using dread extensions for over 10 years on and off. Makes you look younger. Be what ever version of you that makes you feel good and happy. You are beautiful.
You are beautiful inside and out! I admire you so much for all that you have been thru and you still find the goodness in the world! Thank you for sharing your journey with us💕
Heather, I heard Vegamour hair products help grow hair? I heard from a young girl who lost her hair and used their product and it grew it back. She was telling me that product really works. I’m going to try it soon, because I did a total detox through a doctor and lost half my hair on my head… Like I’ve said before about you, you look like you’re 40 there’s no way you look like 51 you are so adorable. I love this video thanks for sharing.
Heather, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! Inside and out. I'm glad that you don't allow the negativity and stupid words from ignorant people, to get to you. You've been through so much and no one could ever imagine unless they've been walking in your shoes, and everyone's experiences are different. Keep being you, keep being the woman that God created you to be and block baby, block if you need to!!! We love you and are continuing to pray for your total and complete healing.
You're a free woman over 21, so wear your hair in whatever way you wish! Phooey on anyone who is critical! Maybe they're just jealous and immature. Your eyelashes and dread locks look great, and so do your teeth. God bless you. You're a survivor. Keep on keeping on.
Ok my gosh this was so so interesting because I had no idea that you actually have to create the dreadlock extentions exactly as if it was natural hair. I am so glad you shared this. How COOL this is!! Who knew! They are very beautiful Heather. I haved loved seeing you with them. And doing whatever it takes for anyone's soul to help them feel them is perfectly ok and there should be no one judging anyone. The people that do are very jealous people suffering not good lives that have to bully. So yes just ignore. No one is twisting theirs arms to watch. If it makes them feel good trying to hurt people, well we know their lives are very sad and glad we are not like them. Much hugs and love. Thank you for sharing this. xo
This is a very very true statement. I have actually had a few of my haters followed. Tracked and traced on the internet to find out who some of them are. And yes, they are insufferable, live miserable and very sad, lonely lives and I pray for their repentance and salvation one day. That’s all we can do. 🥺
My hair is thin and I'm always losing hair. Maybe I need to try dreads for a while. I have wanted to have eyelashes and have purchased several different types but I have never known how to put them on so they have set in a drawer. I'm going to get them out and figure it out. You made it look so easy! Thank you for helping this 60 year old gal. ❤
I think you are absolutely beautiful inside and out. Your true beauty just overflows! Your Joy from the Lord overflows! You are a true blessing! I too will be 51 in August. Could you do a video on them being installed and tightened? I have really fine, thin curly hair. I like the wavy look for me. I am thinking about adding some for myself. Thank you again for being such an encouragement! May Jesus continue to bless you and your family
Thank you so much 🤗 And HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! 51 rocks! What a blessing to have reached this age. I feel like I take Matt with me in spirit, since he will be forever 48. I will never complain about getting older..... consider it all joy, right? I can definitely film that for you so you can see! I don't think Regan who braids my hair will mind showing you the process. xoxo
Thank you for the reply. I will never be able to express what a blessing and encouragement you have been this past year in my life. Last year was truly the hardest year of my life. Do you have a PO box? I would like to write you a letter explaining my journey.
Seeing you so filled with love and light and joy is the BEST!!!! I have long thin hair and with thyroid issues have lost most of the volume. If I were financially able I would do the dredlocks too! Great look on you and I used to do the glue on lashes they were wonderful and that was 15 years ago when not as advanced. Highly recommend them too.
Dang, you got to the point it took me almost 70 years to get to. I finally DON’T CARE! FINALLY!! You do you Heather! Always be your authentic self. With all your loses, whatever you have to do to feel whole, DO IT! Your teeth look absolutely BEAUTIFUL! God is so good. He loves you so much and loves your children. He knew those babies needed you here. I’m so proud of you Heather. You hung in there, even when you got delayed in your teeth installation. Oh good, tell us about your lashes. I’d love to see how you do that. I would so do that if I knew how. ❤️❤️🩹🙏
Dear Heather, In my 40's on a Jamaican dive trip I had my hair done in tiny braids, 'corn rows'. My hair is long to this day. (I turned 70 on May 6th) After I came home from Jamaica, I would sit for 8 hours to have my hair rebraided every 4 to 6 weeks. It was so easy to care for. It's healthier to wash our hair once a week. Our skin is also better if we bathe only twice a week. Being the oldest of 5 girls, plus Mom and Dad, we each took a bath/shower once a week. We sponge bathed daily. My advice is if you like your hair, you're the one that must care for it, so wear it anyway you want. You are a beautiful woman that glows on the outside as well as the inside. I love you in Christ. Warm hugs from northern California.
I’ll quote the wonderful Dolly Parton here… “The higher the hair, the closer to God” ~Dolly Parton ❤️💕🙏🏼👍🏼 If we have any hair on our head to style, in my book, it’s a good day!! If we can hold a brush and comb our hair… again… it’s a good day!! I’m thankful for every hair on your head Heather!!! And to him we give all the glory!! And everyone said AMEN!! Sending love to you!! ❤️💕🙏🏼~Trina~
When I went through menopause, I developed male pattern baldness and the only suggestion my doctor had was to use Rogaine, which is expensive and temporary. Once you stop using it the hair falls out. I'd tried it over 20 years ago, and my hair didn't respond to it, no new hair grew. I'm not interested in going down that road again. As a child I had very fine hair. As I grew up, it grew thicker until I developed Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and finally type 2 diabetes. Hair loss and or beard growth are signs of PCOS. Now that I've managed to lose 50 pounds, I keep hoping that my hair will start to grow, but it's getting worse. I'm so glad that you've made this video showing us that their are options. Your body has been through such an ordeal that it'll take time to heal. Thanks for showing us your journey back from the devastating ordeal you and your family have been through. ❤
MERMAID HAIR ❤ I commented on a Vlog you posted yesterday about how beautiful your natural hair looked, but you are an absolutely beautiful person no matter how you wear your hair. You are such an inspiration to so many. 💗
I absolutely love, love, love your hair! I'm 66 years young and I'm sitting here watching you and I want dreads like yours! I have long hair but it is so much work! It is fine hair but up until 2020 I used to have a ton of it. I could have donated to a third world country of bald people! Hairdressers hated it because it took so long to blow dry it. Alas, in 2020 I got covid and lost some hair. That combined with being my husband's caregiver (can be very stressful) my hair was coming out in bunches. I have combatted that with more prayer to help me deal with the situations in life and it seems to have helped. Even though, it still takes 4 hours to air dry my hair, and that's after I do some blow drying. In the past I never really cared for dreadlocks because it just looked like a matted mess but yours don't look like that. Maybe I will try a few strands, like around my face, and let everyone get used to it then gradually build up. Hmm, I will think on this. Anyway, you are a beautiful woman, inside and out. It always surprises me when someone goes on social media and spews ugliness. My grandma always said if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Of course, she said keep your mouth shut because she was blunt. Anyway, you have a healthy attitude toward those people. God bless you and your family!
I have really long hair. I wanted dreads so bad a few years ago. My hair is fine and thinning. I don’t need the extensions though and I was told it would have to be forever because they would have to be cut out. I don’t cut my hair so there’s that. Yours are gorgeous.
oh thank you! Yeah, I think once you turn them to dreads, thats it, but do some googling and make sure. Check out Liz's channel.... she is one of my favs! www.youtube.com/@lizkidderstudio
❤❤ Thank you Heather. In my ignorance, i wondered about the dreads as well. I never considered that you had bald spots from your major accident. I'm sorry, I know you are a wonderful woman and I couldn't understand why you chose them. Of course it's nobody's business. But thank you. And yiu are still beautiful 🍥💫🎶🥰
I am glad explaining the why was helpful. You just never know what someone is going through..... I am learning that first hand. The last three and a half years has taught me such compassion for others... you just never know. xoxoxox
Great video! Anyone that doesn’t understand is a very narrow minded person. I am almost 80 years old and that wouldn’t be for me but I think you look beautiful! Carry on young lady….carry on! ❤
girl, your hair is totally rad 😍 (radical) is how we would have said it back in the day when we were young...lol ....i love it!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👋👋👋🌼 you'd be beautiful even if you were bald, love you to pieces 💖🤗
I want to brag on the shampoo you mentioned in this video. I do not have dreads first off, just 64 year old hair down to below my shoulder blades. It's white and some gray and blonde. It has menopause curl that was never part of my young look hair. I purchased the coconut lime grapefruit Dolly locks shampoo because I looked up the ingredients and love the minimal healthy stuff with no chemicals...I have another company I normally buy with similar healthy ingredients but the cost is high. I bought the 33oz bottle in disbelief that it was super discounted when I bought it just a week ago after watching this video. It delivered fast to boot. I have to say the shampoo is wonderful. Not greasy at all. Happy camper here. Thanks for recommending dear.
❤ all the information! I didn’t know about dreads or the eye last extensions. Thank you so much 😊! Video was interesting, great content. Please share more when you have time.
Oh my goodness Heather I’m horrified that anyone would or could have any comments about your personal care choices. For those of us with you before the accident and the aftermath we are eternally grateful for the most amazing things about you. Your open heart Your joyous soul Your amazing resilience Your injuries were all gravely serious. Every single one. This video is yet another testament to your character. You know what works for you to heal inside and out. Because you’re you, we are being treated to another example of your inherent grace on display. We absolutely adore you. For anyone out there who does not know the history maybe watch for a while and heal and work on yourself versus commenting on others. Heather is a VERY special soul.❤️
I love your wavy dreds, you are so beautiful anyway, outside and inside! And your lashes are lovely, you do a great job with them. I am so grateful God brought you through. You are an inspiration, God bless you!
I love that Angie!!!!! Let your hair flow, sis!!!!! You only live once, live it to its fullest! All glory be to God!!!!
Let your long hair be free! I'm 67, and long hair is so much easier! No washing everyday or expensive haircuts. Ponytail to pull it up out of Ohio sweat, even love my free silver highlights!
I'm in my 50's and LOVE my long long hair!
Most importantly GOD loves you just as you are ❤️
Amen and Amen! Thank you Lisah!
Heather you do what is best for you sweet Friend I love watching you Love Cathy God bless you all 🙏🏻✝️☮️🌹🌺🍀💐💜💗💝💙❤️

HAHAHAHAHA in the hospital, the rehab staff laughed when my goal was lashes! hahahaha
Dear Sweet Heather, you have been through more than any one person or family should ever experience. God bless his tender mercies that he has for us! You look beautiful and you must be happy and do what makes you content. Continued blessings to you and your family! 🌻🌺🌻
thank you Valentina! God bless!

Y'all, this made me tear up. So sweet.
That’s what matters!!!! ❤
You are such a lovely person Heather.
GOD bless you and your family. You are a true joy
I love your dreadlocks - I think at 72 it would be fun to try them
YESSSS QUEEN!!!! You would rock them, Ms. Kate!!!!
I'm 60 I'm gtn mine done in 2 weeks. I love. Heather and loving hers has convinced me to do it been wanting this for yrs. And yrs. Finally. Ya. Thanks Heather
Me, too! (71)
I'm 72 also and think I would love to try them too!
I LOVE the wavy look! I like it better than the twisted. It looks cleaner and more natural to me. You are beautiful girl. ❤
I didn’t realize it actually helps your hair rest! 🙏🙏❤️
yes! they call it a "protective hairstyle" basically your hair is braided and stays braided and away from the elements like hot tools and styling products, hair brushes......
I guess I assumed it pulled out your natural hair. Glad to find out I was wrong!🙃❤️
You are gorgeous, inside and out. Thank God you are still with us. ❤
Wow, thank you.... and I am so thankful I am here with too. xoxo
Doesn’t that pull your natural hair out? You deserve to wear whatever you want! You go girl! 😊
I bet you are stunning and rock them like a QUEEN! hahaha I LOVE IT!!!!!
@@TheKneadyHomesteader you are so sweet 💕
You are BEAUTIFUL outside and inside. You bring me so much Joy. Thank You.💝🙏
Heather, you have been thru so much ... so you do you. Do what makes you feel beautiful and happy!! ❤❤❤
You are so cute! Don't worry about what anyone says. You look darling. Your light shines from within.
Thank you ❤
Thanks for sharing this!
❤Keep smiling ❤
thank you!!!!
"I do not care" that's so Gen X. Love it!
LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO! hahahahahaha
You’re just a beautiful soul lady! If people don’t like your hair oh well! You’re gorgeous!!!!!❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻
Love it! Protective hair styles are truly a blessing! Please don't allow ugly comments to dull your shine!
It breaks my heart to hear that people say mean things to you about anything. You are so strong and beautiful. You are such an inspiration and lovely.
Thank you so much. It’s OK. I got thick skin 😆
You are adorable, it's so sad that there are so many mean people in this world. You just keep doing what makes you feel better. You are loved by many!
I am so grateful the Holy Spirit led your steps in my direction, Mama! Thank you for the kind words.... you are so right!
A Woman's Glory💗
There are many teachings and practices in our tribal cultures as Native people.
Reading that made me cry! Thats so beautiful! Gah! brought me to tears! Healing my hair just went up a whole new level for me!
You are so beautiful! You seem to be healing wonderfully. I can’t wait to see your natural hair. BTW, your teeth are amazing.
thank you so much!!!!!
I love your "mermaid" hair. Your channel brings me such joy. Thank you for your wonderful videos and for sharing your faith.
Thank you so much! I am so happy you are here, Sis!
I am over 50 and have been using dread extensions for over 10 years on and off. Makes you look younger. Be what ever version of you that makes you feel good and happy. You are beautiful.
Thank you so much!!!! You get me. 🥰
I’m sure this was a big help for anyone interested in dreadlocks or eyelashes! Keep smiling Heather!😘🙏🏻✨❤
What a fun video. Thank you! You are truly a blessing!
You are beautiful inside and out! I admire you so much for all that you have been thru and you still find the goodness in the world! Thank you for sharing your journey with us💕
You're so dang gorgeous, and its awesome to see you smiling and laughing again. God is sooooo Good.
Heather, I heard Vegamour hair products help grow hair? I heard from a young girl who lost her hair and used their product and it grew it back. She was telling me that product really works. I’m going to try it soon, because I did a total detox through a doctor and lost half my hair on my head…
Like I’ve said before about you, you look like you’re 40 there’s no way you look like 51 you are so adorable.
I love your dreadlocks! I never knew about them so thanks for educating me! Your beauty radiates from within my dear!
Thank you so much!
Just love your locks! Interesting to learn all about the dreads. Keep on praising the Lord!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@TheKneadyHomesteader Yes that is all we can do sadly. And we know now how lucky we are to just be loved and love and not have their mindset. 💕💕💕
Amen!
I love your hair, your openness, and the fun that you bring in tough times! You are so loved! ❤
Dear Heather,
In my 40's on a Jamaican dive trip I had my hair done in tiny braids, 'corn rows'. My hair is long to this day. (I turned 70 on May 6th)
After I came home from Jamaica, I would sit for 8 hours to have my hair rebraided every 4 to 6 weeks.
I’ll quote the wonderful Dolly Parton here…
“The higher the hair, the closer to God” ~Dolly Parton ❤️💕🙏🏼👍🏼
If we have any hair on our head to style, in my book, it’s a good day!! If we can hold a brush and comb our hair… again… it’s a good day!!
I’m thankful for every hair on your head Heather!!! And to him we give all the glory!! And everyone said AMEN!!
Sending love to you!! ❤️💕🙏🏼~Trina~
You are a strong, kind, gentle human being….bless you!🙏🏼✌🏼
When I went through menopause, I developed male pattern baldness and the only suggestion my doctor had was to use Rogaine, which is expensive and temporary.
I just wanted to tell you that you have the most beautiful smile 🥰 Your dreads are beautiful! I love the wavy dreads!
I'm one of the people who LOVE your dreads. Love love love... You look like a magical nordic princess. You are absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful and thank you HEATHER!!!💕❤️🥰
I love your dreads!!! They look amazing on you Heather!💖💖
Thank you so much!! That is so kind of you!!!!
Stunning girl 💞
awwww thank you!
Your dreads and lashes are beautiful. Don't change for anyone but you!! God bless!! By the way, I'm 70 and right now my hair is in a ponytail.
You’re an inspiration in so many ways. Thank God for you 🤗💜🙏🏻 God bless
thank you, I appreciate that so much. All glory to GOD!!!!!
Thank you for doing this. Ready to place my order. The tutorial was great. Blessings to you and yours
WOOHOO! I am so excited for you!!!!! Hair or eyelashes? hahaha I gotta know!
Thank you for posting this video. I needed to see something like this right now. Your hair is beautiful and don’t let anyone tell you any different.
Well said! Right on, Patricia! THANK YOU! Lord, let me live to see 80! What a beautiful number!!!!
God is so good! It's so nice to see and hear you laugh! You are my hero! God bless you and your family! You are so loved!
Thank you so much! You are very much loved too! xoxo
girl, your hair is totally rad 😍 (radical) is how we would have said it back in the day when we were young...lol ....i love it!!!!!! 👍👍👍👍👋👋👋🌼 you'd be beautiful even if you were bald, love you to pieces 💖🤗
Yes, thank you, for doing this video. I've been going through a health battle and my hair is suffering and this is the info I needed. God bless you.
They look really good on you!!!
Heather, you are a beautiful woman! You truly are an inspiration. Sending love and prayers to you and your family!
Thank you so much!
Your teeth look absolutely gorgeous!!!!❤❤❤❤
thank you!!!! I have a bit of a lisp, but hey.... I CAN EAT SALAD AND CASHEWS! hahaha I am HAPPY!
This was so interesting. I am happy you can have the hair style you like, you are a beautiful lady and your smile warms my heart.
You are the most beautiful woman....kind, God-fearing and completely authentic. Only focus on the positive!❤🙏😇
AMEN AMEN!!!!! so much love to you, Pam! xoxo
Beautiful and inspiring Heather. I find you to be authentic and stunning in how you radiate God's strength x
♥️🥹♥️
Oh my goodness Heather I’m horrified that anyone would or could have any comments about your personal care choices.
For those of us with you before the accident and the aftermath we are eternally grateful for the most amazing things about you.
Your open heart
Your joyous soul
Your amazing resilience
Your injuries were all gravely serious.
I love seeing your progress and happy smile. You are beautiful, inside and out! I love love love the hair ♥
I absolutely 💯 love you and your hair.
🤗 You are the best, Rita! xoxoxo
I love your wavy dreds, you are so beautiful anyway, outside and inside! And your lashes are lovely, you do a great job with them. I am so grateful God brought you through. You are an inspiration, God bless you!
You are a joy, I am so happy to get to watch you
