After maybe 20 seconds I head a snap, I go... OH SHIT, I open take off the barrel and what do ya know 3 or 4 metal pieces fall onto my lap, it all sorts of fucked. Hopefully I can get a new one, If not I'm out of $145. On a different note I love how the gun feels and it looks amazing (I just wish it was easier to get the orange tip off)

The steel version is for collectors and is very limited edition - and costs over USD 1000. This COVERT OPS is for skirmish use and is expected to be below $150.
So, now if you build this Pistol with Steel Slide,Frame and some Internals ........could be cost around 400-500$ Retail! So, when thinking about this.....why we have to pay 1300USD for the Limited Version?! Buy the Way, i own the 1269€ RWA Nighthawk GRP limited Steel;)
Jo Lu Keeping it at 14mm gives users many more choices for mock silencers in case they want to use another one. For example, the Madbull GEMTECH line is all 14mm.
@RedWolf Airsoft 2 days ago my nighthawk custom covert ops pistol came in the mail. Literally everywhere i researched before I bought it did not show it with a huge orange tip glued and threaded on to the barrel. They even had the nerve to still send the thread protector and the mock suppressor WITH the HUGE orange tip super glued and threaded on. So to be able to use the mock suppressor it is advertised with i attempted to remove the orange tip myself but in attempts a small piece on the side of the hop up broke off, its a piece that retains the barrel from flying forward when the slide releases. is there any replacement parts I can buy? Can anyone help?

Actually a 1911 threaded barrel uses 0.578"-28 inch threads, in mm that is roughly 14.5mm so the 14mm threading is almost if not completely correct.
