- Hey guys welcome back! Its been a minute :) Join me on my hair transplant journey and watch me share my experiences of overcoming the burn on my forehead, transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair, and embracing new protective styles:)
I hope you guys like this and can appreciate my honesty and transparency :)
Thank you guys :)
So many black women suffer from traction alopecia and breakage because of all these hairstyles and overmanipulation. I'm happy that you were able to do this for yourself. Be careful with the tight hairstyles.
Thank you!
I was gonna say bc...she must have really abused her hairline for it to be bald and black like that. Didn't even think it was possible for your hairline to turn black like that by applying the alcohol to remove the wig.
How much was it for a surgeon to sit there for 8 hours for this procedure. Lorrddd! Sounds so pricey!
Hope this is not the new bbl type trend bc...so many questions lol
I have my natural hair all time and i suffer from alopecia . Also combing our natural hair can cause hair loss if one has 4c hair the hair is just so hard
@@Ghert-xv5llITS A GOOOD TREND UNLIKE BBL…
EVERYONE IS SUPPOSED 2 HAVE A HAIRLINE, BUT NOT EVERYBODY IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A FAT AZZ
Thank you for being so vulnerable with us. It doesn’t go unnoticed. This video will be such a help to those in a similar situation with a similar hair type. You are the best!
Ahhhh thank you 🥹💕 it’s always a bit nerve racking but I appreciate you guys alot x 💕💕
I second this! You have beautiful heart.
Hearing you can wear a wig after 4 weeks just makes me happy . I can't wait to get this surgey ! Thank uou girly for sharing that .
Make sure you wear a silk cap under the wig and that cap must be 100% silk to prevent rubbing on your edges
It’s the vulnerability and transparency for me. Love you forever, Maz!❤
I loved this. I really respect African women and women who deal with hair issues. Its so much work mentally to accept oneself already and I know this is such a journey. I loved listening to this so I understand more of issues that my friends of different races face. You are glowing and I can't wait to see more videos. :D
Thank you so much! I’m happy you enjoyed this 💕
@@itsmariammusa now in feb 2024 how is your hairline?
Thank you for you being honest, open and transparent with your journey. I have been struggling with the acceptance of my hair for a longtime and having any edges doesn’t make it any easier😅. I am happy that you can laugh now and make jokes about how far you have come and I hope to be there one day 😊. Thank you for using your platform to educate and make this a safe space🫶🏾.
You are so welcome! Really appreciate your words 🥹💕
Good for you - its amazing how open you are and it's so important to have this dialogue by people who go through these issues x10. As much aa being an influencer is your brand, it's also how you make a living and what black women do with their hair impacts their ability to do so. I still remember my mom talking about workplaces threatening to fire black women way back in the day if they came in with their natural hair. Congrats - this was a really long time coming, and I hope that anyone who goes through similar issues sees this
Your personality is so bomb! I love the fact that they didn't have to shave off half of your hair in the back! Thank you for sharing your hair transplant journey!
They did a great job, I love how you’ve always been transparent about your journeys. ♥️
Yay I’m so happy for you, I know it’s one less thing to worry about. As women we understand that hair can boost our confidence immensely ❤.
I’m happy for you Miriam I also am having issues with my hair since I moved to a new country. Totally understand how hair issues stress me out
Thank you soo much! Honestly it can be so draining! I am really I hope you you can sort out your issues as well 🥹💕
So proud of you and your transparency ❤ black women needs to not be afraid of self love and getting back what has been lost ! Don’t let anyone shake you.
Thank you for sharing such a vulnerable moment
You literally shine inside and out, such a beautiful soul ❤
I was literally screaming megamind and then u showed him😂😂
You are welcome honey 💕 thank you so much for you kind words 🥹💕
Love you Mariam. Too genuine and transparent. You are the sweetest person and am so sorry you had to go through all that with your hair. I once lost some hair at the back and it made me cry so much I had to call my mum cause I was depressed about it. I am glad you have the power to change these situations and inspire others suffering from hair loss. Lots of love
It looks so good :) So happy to see you confident and loving your results !!! Thank you for the informative and transparent video 🫶🏾
Appreciate this soo much! Really hope this has helped as well 🥹😂
Omg thank you for this! I have naturally thin edges and have been considering a hair transplant. Scared of the pain but one day I'll just put on my big girl pants and get it done haha!
Do it girl you won't regret it 🎉
Defo have a good think about it - I’m really happy with mineee 🥹💕 good luck 💕💕💕
same, i have thin edges and i really want to do it
Thank you so much for sharing your very honest detailed hair journey and all the information you have given .I have considered doing a hair transplant but I am still scared and by the way you look absolutely amazing, well done .
I'm currently 3 months post my hair transplant, so really enjoyed watching this! 😊
Hey where did you get it done and how much did you pay? I want to get one done.😊
@@danielleharley-laws1785 Heva clinic in Turkey. $2600 (I paid in dollars even though I'm from the UK). All the info is on my channel sis x
Any growth??
@@danielleharley-laws1785she went to Turkey
I look at myself everyday in the mirror and cry I would love to get this done but I just can’t afford it. I only make 27k and jjst had a baby. I would give anything to be able to have this done. I’m so happy for you
It is cheaper in Turkey, hun. Longevita especially is a really cheap clinic and you can get some money off by using influencer affiliate links. (I got mine done at a different clinic in Turkey, though).
@@TheWellnessAbbeyYes Im thinking of going.
@@TheWellnessAbbeyso if someone can't even afford a transplant how do you think they can afford to fly to TURKEY????
I know this is about your hair, thank you for sharing your experience. Now your arms my sista in Christ?😭😭😭 TONED to the Gods! Wooow🧎🏽♀️🧎🏽♀️🧎🏽♀️👏🏽
Looool 😂💕 naa I love this comment thank you 😂💕 what’s crazy is I actually don’t like my arms at all 😭 like I never ever work on them at the gym trust me so. I think my arms are like this is from when I was a lot younger - I was really into athletics at school and actually really fast so I think that’s what developed my arms. Honestly that’s it because I avoid as much as possible to not do anything with them 😭 xxx 😂😂
Ive been planning to do a hair transplant and what a coincidence this video appears on my suggestions 😊
Thanks for sharing Mariam. Looks like the UK clinic did a fab job of respecting your natural hairline. I'll check them out as I want this done.
Such an interesting and informative video. I’m glad you did something that would you happy. You only get to live once.
Honestly you actually only live once 🤣 appreciate this a lot xx hope you enjoyed the video 💕💕💕
I love the transparency in this! So relatable and your hair looks amazing now😍😍
Thanks for sharing, Maz!! you look stunning as usual!! Appreciate you being so transparent about the process and your recovery. This will help so many black women who didn't even know this type of procedure would work for us.
You look beautiful! Thank you for being so open and transparent about your hair transplant journey!
"I Wwas enjoying looking like that, when will I look like that again" 😂❤ i love the love for yourself.
love tremendously how open, honest and vulnerable you are in this video. Its given women strength to know they aren't alone. love love love!! thank you
Thank you for sharing this! Sometimes it's hard for women to open up about hair struggles so this will def help so many ppl
I was so nervous that’s why I put it off for ages 😭😭😭😅😅😅 but honestly I really hope this helps! Thank you for your comments and words it means a lot 🥹💕
Thank you for sharing Mariam… You look beautiful with your hair. I have been following your journey.. & loved that you have been transparent with us. Please share your hair transplant surgeon, I want to have my hairline done in the UK too. Thank you x
Thank you, Mariam, for this info. I’ve considered such treatment since the beginning of this year as I noticed losing my edges since the start of my peri-menopause.
I would defo try some hair serums first for a couple months and then if you’re not satisfied then defo look into. It’s a big decision so take your time with it 💕💕
OMG … I’m so glad you did your hair transplant in the UK. I was looking to travel to Belgium.
Doesn't make sense to continue to put tensión on your scalp with the tight braids.
This video is so helpful and clear as I want to do a hair transplant as I suffer from traction Alopecia and follicle degeneration syndrome but I’m also scared 😢😢
Thank you so much Mariam for sharing your journey , it’s not easy to do so but I really appreciate your openness ❤️
Damnnnn this journey was amazing, good job with the pictures. If I was you I would never put in fake hair again lol but get your bag girl.
Thank you! It’s a been a journey, now sis I can’t promise you that 😭😂😂😂💕💕💕
Girl you're good you know I was contemplating a hair transplant
Hi Miriam, so is it safe to do the kind of braids you have on? Is that not the reason the edges thin out?
So I did ask and they said it was ok as long as it wasn’t toooo tight which I let my hairdresser know. But I kept those braids in for like 2 weeks. I’m focusing now on styles like leave out and my actual hair 💕 honestly sooo easy to be comfortable with wigs man. Appreciate your message babe thank you 🥹
This was so informative and helpful! 🥺 thank you for sharing your journey with us ❤️
Ah yay! I’ve been waiting for this! I even went to Cherub London (such a sweet team!) with your recommendation to begin my journey. I think I may go down this route too. Can’t wait to watch, I was so excited to see the video that I commented without watching lol. Thanks Mariam for being so open with this!!!!
Glad you enjoyed 🥹💕 honestly cherub really done magic with my hair x anytime 🥹💕💕💕
Your personality is so bubbly! Love it! And u look so pretty with this hairdo, maybe I’ll consider the hair transplant thing a few years from now if my hairline gets scantier.. cos this forehead of mine is HUGEEEE 🤣🤣
Nice to see you MM and all thanks to God almighty for taking you through it all safely 🙏🏾 . Loving the hair and you're looking amazing as always..😍 😍 thanks for sharing and giving as all the T of your treatment journey hun.. job well done 👌🏾 and stay bless .🙏🏾 😍 💖 💖 💖

You’re amazing ! So happy for you . Thank you for always being transparent and relatable ❤️
Thanks for share ur hair journey with us I love how keep to real with us too
It’s ok :) I really hope you enjoyed 💕
Pick and drop has a lot to answer for! It cost so many girls/women their edges.
We Black Women have such unique and diverse textures of hair on our head, that it's no wonder that we truly require guidance for maintaining our hair. Growth rate, curl pattern, tensile strength, natural color and other factors differ from one woman to another. So, extra care must be taken to maintain our crowns. Why do you think others steal our haircare techniques and styles?! Love and care for your crown ANY WAY YOU SEE FIT! AND if you want to improve it, then do it!!
As someone who has hair issues since when I turned 18 I love this video
Ahh appreciate it a lot 💕
@@itsmariammusa we appreciate you 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing your story and being so open i hope your hair keep growing more and more your are so pretty❤
thank you for showing the donor area! I was nervous bcuz someone said on another video that part doesnt grow back
You look gorgeous Mariam 🤩💗 happy for you!
Thank you sooooo much 🥹🥹🥹💕💕💕💕💕
You should still try to avoid wearing certain hairstyles I know it’s hard but try … avoid tight cainrows, slick up, ponytails….
I’ve been researching getting a transplant for awhile as I have traction alopecia due to just being plain dumb with my hair over the years. All my hair grows a lot and is really thick except my edges. Think I’m going to go ahead and get it done soon I’m scared but I cannot take these thin edges anymore and nothing works. I even tried steroid injections from dermatologist, minoxidil everything nothing worked. Thanks for sharing! I would love to have seen your results after a year 😩. And an estimate on the cost.
Did Adeola have this done too?? Curious because her forehead looks smaller. I really want this now 😩
I worked for that company, in the same building where they do cosmetic surgery downstairs and the hair transplants upstairs.
Do they have a branch in London?
You are Angel… I’m saving now and will do next year. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are welcome! I hope this was helpful for you 🥹💕💕
Thank you Bella. And that positive Energy 🎉, ❤
so happy for you maz your confidence is amazing !!
Thank you for this! Im curre rlt 1.5years after my 2nd transplant! Best thing i ever done ❤but im still delaying in growth
Anytime. You are welcome 🥹💕 have you tried PRP? I’m gonna do that coming to the end of summer to get my hair a bit more thick? And have you tried any other stuff to help with growth? Xx
Wow this is amazing. I’ve had super thin edges all my life pretty much and have tried everything to grow them and nothings worked. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to do this!!
Here's to living life on the edge so entertaining thanks for sharing
Been waiting for this vid. Thank you❤
It took me a while I’m so sorry - was super nervous and wasn’t sure how much to share 🥹 I appreciate the watch honestly 💕
I’d be too scared to pull them edges back out with them braids though
Fairs
Will having the cornrolls reverse the procedure? Seems like the braids naturally pull back your hairline
I’m getting a lot of these so I get why people are asking but it was fine, we didn’t do it tight and i didn’t have it for long x
Thanks for sharing, please just make sure the braids aren't too tight so the don't pull at your hair follicles!
Thanks soo much for sharing. I really appreciate your transparency! Is it possible to know the name of your surgeon? As a black woman, I would really like to have the peace of mind that the surgeon I go to, will understand my hair type, which is just like yours x
I loved this video Its so informative and I’ve definitely been wanting more information about hair transplants for women.. Not your friends saying you look like the alien emoji that had me laughing 😂😂👽. Love how you can give us information as well as jokes.
I post detailed videos about my hair transplant journey on my channel x
So happy for you this is great info for black women trying to get the procedure done
, try to stay AWAY FROM KNOTLESS they will eat your hairline up again 😢
Where did you go? And how much did they charge you?
What did the price include? Hotel.transportation?
Meals. What about the flight was that included in what the price was?
Stunning🥰 Ur personality is everything😊 Tfs
Thank you 💕🥹
So proud of you🥰 You look great😍❤️
Thank you 🥹💕
I'm so happy and proud of you 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m confused hun. They cut some hair from the middle of your scalp and put it infront????
New Subscriber from the USA. Thank you for being so open and honest. You’re beautiful sis. I have my surgery set in 8 days. Nervous and excited! Many blessings to you! 💕
Hi! Where are you getting it done? I’m thinking about doing it as well, but I am so scared.
Update??
Prada you sis!!! You’re hair looks amazing beaut as always ❤
Loving your hair! Can you please provide the website of the company you got your hair transplant done?
This lady crazy but I love it lol 😂 and thanks for being so open and transparent
Thank you for sharing your experience with us . Does the hair fall out or is that it now.
Also I love the wig you wore on holiday. Wear did you get it?
Back here to prepare myself for my own journey…ahhh!
I love the shenanigans around the swelling lol
It came out nice & natural looking
Thank you for this video, so straight to the point and useful
Black women we need to stop over manipulating our hairlines with glue and wigs and learn to love our NATURAL hair ❤. We are probably the only race of women who f up our hair to this extent due to hair loss extensions/chemicals treatments etc
I get what you’re saying but I think you’re generalising a bit - I’m only talking from my experience like I know SOO many black women that have had such a good journey with their natural hair and from a young age really understand how to take care of their hair, however my story’s a little different which is how I ended up here. But I’m ok with that hence why I can share my personal journey. Xx
Or just educate ourselves on how to have these styles and still protect our hair saying we need to stop and love our hair when most of us just want different styles is a bit like do you even know why lol
@@estherkasozi4202 yea but what are those other hairstyles? STRAIGHT hairstyles! Hair styles using hair that’s hardly like our own. Like, Can we not get comfortable with the different styles our OWN hair can do?
@@itsmariammusa not raining on your parade I understand every story is different, It’s just a general observation. Us black women cannot truly love our own hair it seems. It’s like we rely on for owing hair and fibres to make us feel better about our look. My self included in that . But it just looks like u went through this whole procedure just to do the exact same thing…
Good that you stayed in the 🇬🇧
Yeaa I wanted to just do it here and not deal with any hassle 💕
Thank you for your video ❤can you please tell me where you did your hair transplant in Birmingham ? Because I am looking for myself and it’s very difficult to choose especially when people telling me to go to turkey but I can’t go over there having children etc….
Wow 😍😍most be nice to afford such things you know , I’m glad you feel much better about yourself 😘
Thank you! It was worth it for me. Like I feel so happy with where I am with my hair 🥹💕💕
Thank you for sharing. I’m still deciding if I want a transplant or PRP
You’re welcome! I’ve heard and seen so many good results with PRP - I still wanna do that as well as I’ve seen it helps with thickness and I would wanna make my hair thicker next I think. Xx good luck on your decision 💕
What is PRP?
I'm surprised they did this work as I contacted them last year and they told me they didn't deal with afro-caribbean hair
Is it just me or are you well on your way to it falling out again with the tight braids around the hairline…why repeat the styles that got you there in the 1st place
I never done this style 😅 like that was my first time… but I can get your concern, trust me when I said I’m really taking care of it 💕
Thank you for sharing! What month would you say you started to really see some growth starting?
Lovee this style!😍Who/ where did you get the braids from?
You’re so beautiful I love your personality so much ❤
Sis thank you soooo much 🥹😭💕💕💕💕
Hi Mariam I've googled the enhance medical group Birmingham but I don't think this is the right company as it a cosmetic surgery place. Please provide a link or the confirmation of the company again please. Thanks x
I've been waiting for this video haha! Do you think it would have been easier to shave your entire head, when washing it etc
Because I had already shaved my hair in 2020 I just didn’t wanna do it again. I did think about shaving again and letting it grow with the new hair. Xxx
Cant wait for this to be me soon 😍😍😍 imma go bald but it’ll be worth it
Thank you so much for sharing, i pray that i have the money to get this done one day. You results are amazing ❤
Thank you for sharing can you please give full details of the clinic in Birmingham please thanks
Wigs are easy manageable in comparison to our own hair ..we dont have to worry as much wirh heat damage and dry hair so I understand why your obsession with wigs got out .. its easy to get sucked in especially when the install comes naturally to you but well done for taking that one step that will get you closer to your natural hair journey 🎉
Don't agree that wigs are more manageable than our own hair. Lace wigs can be very high maintenance aswell. But happy for her that she got the hairtransplant! ☺️
If you don’t know how to care for your hair anything will be more manageable
Definitely agree. We need to move away from this narrative that the hair that grows out of our own head is unmanageable/less manageable, and just learn how to manage the same way we learn how to manage all the alternative hairstyles we might choose.
Lace wigs were so much work just for it to still look wiggy. So natural hair at least the work is going toward something greater not a frontal that will be bald and shedding in a month
I am so thankful for your video, I want to get this done someday, I just need to find the right place here in the USA
Thank you so much for this video, such a huge help. Please, tell us which clinic you went to and the cost range
Great video.... Can I ask what hair products you used after the big chop......
