Soooooo much 🥺💕 im in a much better place now and im so happy to see all the reaction to this🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 wunmi thank you for allowing me to be open with everyone! 🥺💕💕💕
Your so pure-hearted, you deserve every blessing that comes your way !!
stop bleaching sis❤️
@@lilmizzije stop accusing ppl of bleaching ❤️
@@lilmizzije if you’ve seen pictures of when she was little she was light, when she was on tv she was at her darkest (still beautiful) because she was tanned. Hope you heal from this negativity you feel the need to express. Sis doesn’t bleach.
Yess 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Mariam is the role model for all us “white washed” girlies that are born/raised in a predominantly white area and went to white schooled collages etc. Uni was also the best time for me as I got to finally make friends with my people. It’s just a shame we are living in an era where everyone is so sensitive and blog pages blow things up and don’t do damage control 💔💔💔
what Mariam said is so true - its so easy to lose sight of our plans and get caught up with what everyone else has when thats not even what we want for ourselves
A word ✨
It’s refreshing to see how Mariam talks about Warren without being hateful or hurt even though she said she’s still bitter. It’s a healing process and it takes sometime. You get what you put out in this world and I’m so happy for her successful and how far she has come. ❤️❤️
Really enjoyed this interview. It was very candid and refreshing to hear this from Mariam. Growing up in a predominantly white area I completely understand the struggles and judgmental experiences you go through
I related to this soooo much growing up, up north to then go to uni down south was a huge change for me but your strong girl you got this!!!
Undesirable, where? She is such a beautiful woman.
I feel like if you’re around only white people, you’re automatically “undesirable”. No matter how beautiful you are
@@EstherOlagboye that’s true
That not true, bring a above average black woman around WW , they get VERY catty, competitive & jealous in a micro aggressive way! They see POC & black women above average in beauty as competition
@@modernshakespeare3120 not true! A lot of black women are jealous
@@EstherOlagboye Good point.
I have been following Mariam since her H&M days and her growth is EXTRAORDINARY. In real life people grow from bad and good situations and her journey has been amazing to watch. In particular, her I Saw it First Collection was just soooo emotional I am so proud of her and everything she represents. I did notice a shift in her social media and I am so sorry for the negative comments people have said (which is not true in the slightest) and it’s really sad. Personally I would love to hear more about her growth and God. We love you ❤️
Wumnis side profile is sensational
this was so good! mariam has such a sweet heart, I hope that she knows as “whitewashed” there are so many black girls who have been called the same thing and can relate to her bad look up to her. black women are amazing, there is never one ideal version of a black woman
Mariam is beautiful both inside and out. She was too good for Warren. It’s a shame that he didn’t put in the same amount of effort as her
Mariam has a HEART OF GOLD ❤️🥺
Hate how we internalise perceptions of us. She said ‘I’m so white washed’ and ‘I was undesirable’ so factually even though she doesn’t think that about herself. Love u Maz❤️
I love how genuine Mariam is. Wishing you nothing but the best sweetheart 💕
Omg, yesssss.
The very reason why influencers and youtubers do what they do is cause of us, they love the support. Yet "we" the viewers literally can take it away from them and we may be at fault at times for what we do as the public.
Can we get a sit down with nella rose
Good interview. Just wish the sound wasn’t so low.
I thought it was my phone lol
Thought I was the only one
Its the law for ppl with small ears
Only jokin
I love Mariam, she’s so nice and her personality is actually the cutest! You can actually tell how kindhearted she is.
In literal tears hearing how Mariam feels and just getting a deeper view into what’s been happening cause we knew she had been disconnected but not how deep it went.
Mariam really gives herself no credit for how amazing she is and that she’s such an inspiration and brings light to many. Also crying because of how hard being called “white-washed” has really affected her, I was once told I’m a coconut who is racist to black people and hates being black and talking about it made me feel like I’m being dramatic but that has really affected me for a while and hearing Maz share her experience is just so heartbreaking because it hurts and can really affect someone.
On a lighter note Wunmi’s interviewing skills are top tier.
❤️❤️❤️
Literally heard the same nonsense since secondary school. When people say crap like that just remind them that black people are not a monolith and there isn’t one way to be “black” so they should quit being so narrow minded.
Was just thinking Wunmi Bello should have a conversation with Mariam Musa and this pops up. Honestly believe that it's great to see such conversations
Lies
Mariam is such a sweetheart. The purest soul. Really enjoyed this conversation. Well done again Wunmi. You were made for this❤️
The black girl luxury aesthetic is becoming very overplayed and it’s not natural for some. No wonder young girls are trying to have designer so young. I remember Mariam for always being able to put together outfits for a good price! I loved her one dress/shirt/top in 5 ways.
Yes
That's how I knew her. I've never seen the show she was on.
How is the luxury aesthetic on black women overplayed tho? This will never be said for their lighter counterparts so this comment is giving some weird vibes.
In fact, More black women should tap into the luxury aesthetic because there are really not visible enough in that domain and they deserve just as much luxury as any other demographic. 🙃
@@Nancy-tr1qp agreed. Unless black women are playing super hero, struggle life, men are trash, or frugal trope, it’s overplayed? Foolishness. Please, pass me the Gucci 😅
It’s natural for those who can afford it, shut up and pass me that Hermes bag.
I really love Mariam. She’s so sweet and genuine. I really wish her the best.
She really is sweet. Like it comes through on screen that she is a kind soul. The fiesty is there definitely and she is driven and tenacious but a kind nature pours out of her. Wishing her continued growth and success.
It would have been nice to put pics of certain times in between
Loved this interview ! Mariam is so down to earth ! Love her and she represent the diversity of black girls well !
Wunmi I wanna see you hosting prime time TV you have excellent interview skills BBC, ITV, C4, ABC, NBC CBS come get ya girl!
I loved this but please, please work on the volume. I was straining to hear it and it's so good I don't want to!!
Aww bless her I really love her personality and she seems like a breathe of fresh air ❤️
Maz was fighting in school? 😂😂😂
Best interview style! Really broke my heart hearing how Mariam feels she’s got such a warm and inviting soul, people need to leave her alone let her live! 💕
Idk who she's been watching or listening to but we LOVE Mariam till the death, absolute star
I enjoyed this interview so much! I love Mariam, she has an amazing soul and I don’t get how people can hate on her!🥺 the internet truly is a scary place because people feel the most empowered and be projecting A LOT!!! I truly hope she gets back to being the carefree babes she was💜💜
Loved how open and humble mariam was xx
This was a very special interview.
I’m sure everyone in the room felt it, as soon as you finished wrapping up. Mariam, you are blessed - and special.
And that’s why people have opinions about you, and others who are successful (or what they perceive to be successful) if only they knew what we actually really go through. When much is given much is required.
I believe it is changing however. Just as you see a shift in a generation of influencers, you’ll see a shift in the audience too (hospitalisations for eating disorders have increased 20% in a year which is A LOT, Scotland had another record year for drug overdoses, and there are more homeless than ever before) remember we live in a world of extremes (the aforementioned is on one end of the spectrum), so what are some of those in the middle doing (some of them are hating). but Covid I believe will bring a new consciousness, and there will be another shift (as there has always been throughout time) as people yearn for real-ness, transparency, trust, truth. Tap into this, and be you. You’re a winner, and it’s wonderful and inspiring to see. All the other genuine winners are rooting for you!! Prosper
I fallen in love with her now, more than ever❤️🥺
Wunmi you're so talented, the way you make your guests feel so comfortable to explore such real topics, you're a heavy hitter. Proper skilled in the art of conversation xx
Mariam reminds me of myself, thank you for this interview. and I wish her nothing but the best!
I loveeee Mariam man! She’s so genuine 💓
She is so beautiful. She touched so many for topics that alot of minority women can relate to. The host is beautiful and well spoken, perfect host.
Mariam is so honest.. her absolute best trait 💓
Apart from tattoos what did Warren bring to the relationship?? He was the one that was punching above his weight not her kmt
Never liked that man, im glad Mariam found her Nigerian King now🤍
Whatever you’re going through, love you and you and can get through it♥️
Just discovered this channel! I’m loving it already. Mariam is speaking so much sense! Only thing is, I just wish the videos volume was a bit louder
Love mas so much, makes me laugh so much when she with A Patrone and nella. And this was a nice video to see what mas has overcome and faced in her social media days
Love Mariam's energy! Such a beautiful soul ♥
I love how wunmi is able to have such in-depth conversations without making her guests uncomfortable
Absolutely wonderful
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Here’s a reminder of how much God loves you! God bless you🤍
The craziest thing is I was one of the people who wanted to only watch Mariam miss in her own more than the couple
Like me and my own sisters would fight about it. I was the one that loved both of em together BUT I preferred watching Mariam on her own bc I just saw myself in her as a dark skinned black girl ✨ she was always doing make up, chats, fashion , hair stuff and aaaaa it was amazing
Great conversation! Mariam keeps being true to herself! Love it!
utterly loved this, Mariam you ARE an amazing role model for black girls already
My favourite influencer man🥺
Love your content Wumni. Please can you work on the acoustics? The volume is quite low in some episodes. Don’t wanna miss a thing!
I absolutely love this video. Mariam is so genuine, just from how she speaks.
Mariam has such a good energy about her! Loved watching this 🤍
Wunmi you're a powerhouse, so grateful for your content, and excited to watch your growth
Great interview but please sort out the audio for next time! I could barely hear anything I had to put it on max volume
Maz is beautiful inside and out
Wunmi, well done!
You did such a great job throughout this interview/ discussion. It felt very authentic and easygoing, you were professional in your mannerism and the questions you asked. I genuinely wish you the best in all your current and future endeavours 👏🏾 New Supporter Alert!
Mariam, thank you for being so open, candid and honest in this interview. So lovely to learn more about you and wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. ❤️

Love, love, loveee Mariam, you go girl!! Such an inspiration, even if you don't think it 💕💕
love your channel Wumni, you are so warm!!
I’m so surprised that she used to be a fighter 😂
You are so beautiful and don’t never let someone else who have a low self esteem try to feed you the negative energy!! 💕
Great interview. Really enjoyed listening. So open and honest.
I think it's time we stopped using the word 'white washed' for black people who don't subscribe to what stereotypically a black person should be like. There are so many different black experiences and every single one is valid. That is what is so beautiful about being black, the different ways we experience blackness and all the interesting things that come from that amongst other things. It doesn't matter how a black person speaks, dresses, or whatever type of music they listen to, they're black. None of those differences could ever change that they're black. This is the longest comment I have ever left on a youtube video, but I just want all black people to know, no matter what, you are valid and so is your blackness. x
@Kemi Adeniyi So was I x
Loved how open and honest this was x

Had to go and google who Warren is 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇
18:33 I know that’s her ex but I honestly loved them together, they was my 2nd fav couple behind Tristan&mettise. Like they looked so good together, and to think ppl was saying they don’t fit🥱
The audio is very low or is that just me?
