Hi Mark, I thought this new video was going to be you sailing in Bass straight and the islands and the Pom.
But this video is a great round up of your trip and some more information that was not in it before.
Hope all is going well down at the lakes and enjoying your retirement.

Hi Mark, despite being retired new trips are hard to do with 3 new grandkids with lots of visiting to WA & Qld, and a senile dog who hates water and can't be left in kennels. Still doing lots of small trips on the lakes but have already made videos for those locations.
Yes, the islands in Bass Strait are still a goal, and last feb-mar had planned to do them but weather windows were too inconsistent to be safe for a TS. This year I have been nabbed for Jury duty with 1 weeks notice all the way up to the 15th of April so Bass Strait may not be possible this year either. Getting pretty frustrated about that trip too. Once our old Kelpie dies we will likely start some longer trips elsewhere. She just keeps on bouncing back every time it looks like she is finished.
UA-cam has a lot of strict rules about view hours and posting intervals these days so I made this highlights video of the Kimberley trip for those who don't want to watch several hours of the original trip videos and also to keep youtube with its rules happy. Hopefully I will do some new trips some time in the near future??? Cheers Mark

HI guys, seriously well done. The RL 28 is a very underrated trailer yacht. Very seaworthy and comfortable. Robb Legg would be most chuffed to see his boats adventuring so far. We started off with a Carell 18, moved to a Boomerang 20, then onto a Sabre 22 then Sabre 26 before stepping up to a large 38 ft mono then catamarans. To this day we still miss the transportability of the trainer yachts.

Totally agree. Great boats. Had a chance to buy a really good S&S34 before buying the RL28. Just couldn't give up all the advantages of the trailable yacht. The only way the Kimberley trip happened is that I could get to the starting point 6000km away in 7 days. Handled right the RL28 is capable of amazing things. Cheers Mark
