Next rendering will just be an AI drawing of an armadillo.
Using AI to create a rendering for supposed "realistic plans" seems incredibly disingenuous.
It’s actually wild and kinda dumb. I use ai for work and I am trying to convince my bosses not to
Crazy that they waited several months to release what appears to be a first rough draft…
As someone who does programming and IT work for marketing companies, this isn't that crazy. This is likely one of those top-heavy projects where there are a whole lot of managers, consultants, and people trying to rationalize their existence, with very few people doing any actual, real work. That's what causes delays in these types of projects. We'll likely see more of it as this saga goes along.
nothing crazy, its just to satisfy the morons who think they need to see blueprints even tho the stadium is 4 years away
@@jeffadventures1but these aren’t blueprints. These are renderings. Should be artist sketches instead, tbh.
That’s what I said yesterday it’s a rough draft as time goes on they’ll probably do several rough drafts until they have the final rendering of the stadium
@@tigertank06 Having sat through meetings for renderings I shudder to think of the poor soul who would have to sketch this out.
On our project they even ordered renders of the atrium converted into a courtyard as an "alternative design" this was never approved by any of the engineers on the project, nothing was costed or planned, They just wanted to see how it looked.
Those renderings were thankfully never made public.
Giving Fanatics some bad ideas with those v-shaped pinstriped jerseys 🤣
The Angels lineup not featuring Rendon was no mistake lmao
Umpire wearing high socks, it actually looks pretty cool
Brodie, loved the video! Made me laugh! But good points too
Even the render people don't like Anthony Rendon. That's hilarious.
It looks like they just typed “las Vegas athletics ballpark” on an ai tool. If they go with this it will be the most outdated stadium disguised as a modern stadium
Great Video! You highlighted some things that I never noticed when I first saw the renderings. For some reason the batter they have depicted gives me Aaron Judge vibes!
The stadium in these renderings is much larger than 9 acres. Such dishonesty.
Just found your channel and you got a loyal viewer out of me. Definitely going to blow up...
The Twins' Metrodome had a plexiglass LF wall...remember Kirby Puckett slamming into it for amazing catches...probably required a lot of Windex post-game.
You think it's unsafe for an outfielder to run into hockey boards? Check out Puckett in '91 WS
The renderings were pushed out without vetting to give the perception of progress.
That's not the third-base coach; there are players on first and third according to the scoreboard.
Haha touché. Then there’s no 3rd base coach.
The flags were trying to draw from the real fans that show up to the Oakland coliseum with flags. The AI or the designer wanted to use that like A’s fans in Vegas would actually have the same enthusiasm
Enjoying the Las Vegas/Oakland Athletics story line these past few months. Love the channel, especially the fact that your introduction lasts about 2 seconds, compared to the ungodly 15- to 20-second introductions too many channels have just to prove how clever they think they are. Incidentally, I don't see a ballpark ever being built on the corner nine acres at Tropicana. No way a ballpark depicted in the renders will ever fit.
thanks for being here!
Plexiglass wall --- Atlanta Fulton-County Stadium
I can't get over the lack of a batter's eye. It appears the green OF wall just ends in dead center and then starts the plexiglass wall. I don't think Willy Adames would approve (he's known for hating the Tropicana batter's eye, but loves the AmFam Field's batter eye, go Brewers!).
Important to keep in mind that these renderings are for a stadium that won't open until 2028. The A's could change their team colors, the umpires could start wearing high socks, the Angels might get rid of that one player, those sunglasses could be produced, wind could start blowing inside (etc.) in the next few years.
The ai knows Vegas is a hockey town, so it just threw some glass into left field 😂🤣
The backwards "4" on the 42 jersey is def made by Fanatics!
Almost time..the boys of summer are coming back.
Hits, thrills and spills, there's that old excitement in the air.
Then I realize that Fisher owns the team I've loved for decades ......
No lights. No AC ducting. No catwalk. No Bally's properties. All great points. It's definitely not going to look like this... if it ever happens. 🤣🤣
I mean, for the batting averages, I think it's fair to assume this rendering would represent an early-season game, where batting averages are all over the place, until they start to normalize. Nothing to read into that other than the artist taking April-averages liberties, or an artist just throwing numbers in to fill the space.
Those are going to Sell The Team flags lol
What struck me right away was the slope of the RF roof to the stands. It seems quite easy based on the images that a fly ball in some cases is going to hit the top of the roof BEFORE it would have a chance to be a home run in the stands.
The outside of the Sphere in Las Vegas has gaps that you can see through. Perhaps that's the same thing happening with the roof/screen.
Makes sense.
The roof is a simple one. ETFE or PTFE roof and the green is just LEDs illuminating it not a full screen. It would also let some natural light in and be semi transparent. The colors would be seen inside and out. We see this in a fair number of new stadium designs.
Now what is a cable hung window IDK
Garbage in, garbage out...
re: Video board - there are new transparent microLED screens rolling out these days, so its technically possibly. Probably not in Fisher's budget, and it would have to be 400 feet in the air so nobody pops a ball into it
In between the upside down sunglasses guy and the V style pinstripe guy there is a guy who has a tag exposed on his shirt. Maybe its a "rally shirt" that he turned inside out?
Imagine the cost of cooling a couple million sq ft of glassy dome in 115º+ heat several days per month through the hottest part of the year! Fisher won't even cover the cost of a decent roster. What a farce!
These are very conceptual and probably won't reflect what the ballpark will look like in a lot of ways. Like the lack of clear luxury suites when the real stadium will probably require more luxury suites than most MLB stadiums have inorder to turn a profit.
It’s so predictable that they went with AI for their renderings instead of hiring real architects
Why is the leadership in Vegas even interested in bringing this awful team that instead of actually creating a plan with renderings they just got a simingly totally AI generated image. Its clear they had no plan or vision so they just rushed at the last minute to create something so mediocre.
Everything you're talking about are things for the engineers to figure out not the architect
Incorrect. An engineer doesn’t pick the location for the dugout
Where are the bullpens ?
One thing for sure is you will never see that much green in the stands. A’s are In Oakland.
You can see through the MSG Sphere video panel exterior during the day and when the sun is setting behind it. So I wouldn't be surprised if you could see through this one at the new ballpark.
Maybe the fans were waving the flags.
ikr
Are you sure those are batting averages, and not the OBP?
They just AI’d a stadium and this is what they got…..
11:15 "We ride at dawn!'
That A's lineup is way off. By that time, they will have tripled their payroll and have a team of All-Stars. The message has always been, "when we get a new ballpark, we will be competitive." If you believe that, I've got some land for you on Mars.
You know you can also watch the game without purchasing a ticket it seems like from the last image you showed us
The Braves had a plexiglass outfield fence for several years at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.
That was 2 stadiums ago. MLBPA has evolved over the years.
@@brodiebrazil True. Dale Murphy missed a few games with a messed up hand when it got pinched in a gap in the center field wall.
On the screen it says LAA and LVA for the teams
Not gonna lie… I kinda dig the “V” style Pinstripes
With no HVAC all home games will start at dawn to beat the heat.
The outfielder is finishing his swing lol
"An Easter egg is a message, image, or feature hidden in software, a video game, a film, or another - usually electronic - medium. "
(This video isn't showing 'Easter Eggs')
This looks like a placeholder...again
Where's the netting behind home plate and along the first and third base lines? Somebody is gonna get killed by a line drive!!!
Would it be crazy to think fixed seating is 33K, but standing room adds another 10-15K
Isn’t the video projected?? I thought so
So I think the term “Easter egg” has become so overused on UA-cam that folks have lost sight of what it means.
Remember when we were kids, and the parents/grandparents would hide Easter eggs around the yard for us to search and find? So an Easter egg in media is supposed to refer to something that is specifically and intentionally hidden in a film/show/trailer BY the director(s) which is MEANT to be found by fans.
This… this is more like finding the hilarious flaws in what was probably a 10 million dollar design project 😂😂❤❤
Are backpacks even allowed in baseball parks? I think not.
i think the ai snagged the flags from european soccer fans
I always knew that the renderings would be terrible and tacky because this is Vegas but these are hideous. Instantly this would be the ugliest baseball stadium ever built. No history or tradition and outdated as it was being built. This would be a laughing stock if it ever got built. Unfortunately my favorite team is the baseball version of the movie Idiocracy.
This is AI for sure. I could've made it.
A's fans with the all green flags out there showing support to Gaddafi's Libya.
Love ur videos but man u should get some in ear monitors, headphones starting to look dorky
Luke? May I call you Luke?
SHEEEEUUUUTUP
STAY IN OAKLAND!!!
This new rendering looks every bit as fake as the previous one. For example, the height of the roof looks different on each different perspective.
Just so you know, Brodie, what you did at 0:25 is called a Head Crusher in Canada.
ua-cam.com/video/8t4pmlHRokg/v-deo.html
This is what you get when you hire ‘Renderings R Us’ instead of an architectural professional.😂
Easter eggs are supposed to be a nice thing whereas this is plain stupidity and unrealistic!!!
Viva Las Vegas !!
Lost Vague Azz Flopera House
Just another Fisher shit show
AI fail
I think the use of AI is here to stay, and is neither disingenuous nor important. What is important is that the concept as presented is, well, pretty boring. It looks like the ballpark version of a cafetorium. Baseball is a game of traditions, which are nowhere in sight. There is nothing remotely interesting inside the structure. Also, are we going to watch a game bathed in green light the entire time? Really? Finally, yes, it looks like the Sydney Opera House, the outside of which is a celebrated piece of architecture, but nobody mentions the unmitigated disaster the inside ended up from being jammed into the outside shape. This isn’t going to be a repeat of those mistakes, is it?
Come on man….they’re leaving. Get over it.
Awful AI generated "concept"
Always telling us "something to consider" as if any of these points you're making are actually important. Flags being shown waving inside an AI generated rendering of a dome? Really?
These renderings are a joke. It's like a fan fiction effort. In fact, I'll bet some talented fans could come up with better renderings than this garbage.
This is what happens when it takes months to make something up and you have no clue what you're doing. I could have done better and I'm an idiot.
Sin City Aces, drop the A's moniker. That belongs in Oakland, for Oakland
That sounds like an arena football team.
The Aces are the Las Vegas WNBA team
@@BoulderCityBlues WNBA? That explains why I've never heard of it.
@@BoulderCityBlues Damn I forgot about them.. I'd love Sin City in the name, similar to how Golden State uses that over San Francisco
@@chriscreaturo8809 I personally don’t this team or owner anywhere near Las Vegas never mind having to pay for them to build this abortion of a stadium ..Las Vegas needs its own team that’s Vegas born, that’s built for locals as well as host to tourists not just tourists ..Sin City would be used on their city connect jerseys ..Like with the VGK they had several name ideas were put out there and people had a chance to at least say what they wanted their new Vegas born team to be called and they got people talking about the new team .The A’s have none of that .. they are owned by the worst owner is all of sports who paid off some of Nevada legislature to vote for this SB1 bill without the 2/3 majority .Fisher is ripping off the people to build this monument to failure . These renderings are a bs AI created scam to get the people of Las Vegas interested and talking about a team they don’t want and really don’t want to pay for .
