The fact that Beterbiev came off of knee surgery 6 months ago and is 39 almost 40 years old he fought incredibly well and earned the fight .. I would much rather be beterbiev after that fight then to be bivol .. bivol definitely took more damage bouth men fought a great fight salute to both teams

Bivol was supposed to be the younger fresher fighter coming into this fight but he started breaking down in the 6th and completely shelled up the last 3 rds. It was obvious Beterbiev won

In the championship rounds, Beterbiev threw a lot of punches that did not land. The reason Bivol slowed down is because he was pacing himself. Beterbiev has great stamina and sharpness for age 39. Good genetics. Bivol should have won by two rounds.

How can you engage, if your opponent is stronger, moving forward with power. It shows in bivols face. If bivol did engaged, he would probably get knocked out, that’s the reason a boxer like bivol knew Beterbiev was stronger. He admitted that. He had to back steps majority of the fight. But it would be an excellent rematch, but also it has to be ASAP. Beterbiev is no longer young. Heading 40 years old.

Bivol is humble and great boxer but my opinion Beterbiev playing boxing skills if you watch again the fight you realize how Bivol always backing up and Beterbiev control the fights. No body win a title if your gameplay is backing up. For Beterbiev he show a real boxing skills he want a ko but it's hard to catch Bivol because he backing up. It’s surprising how many did not see all those straight rights through the guard. Those straights broke Bivol. Bivol could have gone blind. I’m happy Bivol didn’t win because he does what some boxers do to win an undeserved fight. He rushes with some flurry & retreats and continue to circle the rings. Artur took his legs, heart and jabs. Bivol was punished, he was just flashy & loved. Bivol could get killed if the fight extends 2 more rounds. Bivol said - Artur has incredible cardio, punches hard & doesn’t break. Bivol had no clear rounds after the first 3. I scored it 7-5 Artur . Bivol also took the most damage & boxed on the back foot. At a stage Bivol couldn’t lift a finger and was just peppered with hooks, uppers and straights. The right man won

In the past, Bivol didn't want to meet Beterbiev until he was older. It turned out that even though he was older, nothing had changed in Beterbiev. In fact, Bivol himself had changed, unlike usual in other matches.
Artur Betebiev is a very humble guy, respectful to his opponent, don't talk much; lose or win for him is God's willing.
A little set-back for Artur Beteviev, he didn't throw combinations in the earlier stage of the fight.
Bivol is so quick, very unfortunately his punches didn't hurt Betebiev much. Both fighters respect each other and execute CLEAN and professional fights.

being aggressive doesn't mean you gain points, points only count if the punches landed to your opponent, and Bivol did that every round.
most of Beterbiev's punch only landed to the gloves of Bivol watch the full fight that Turki uploaded a couple of hours ago, but in later round he managed to get inside of Bivol, and Bivol guard broke by Artur's heavy punch.
Bivol for me, won by points, he managed to get back right after Artur tries to level the points that Bivol gained from the jabs and 1-2 punches.
those judges don't even know how to judge a fight, they also count those punches that only landed on the gloves.
we know that Artur is far stronger than Bivol that's why he creates the pressure inside the ring.
but when it comes to points every round, Bivol managed to uplift himself to win every round.
watch the full fight, look closely how Artur's punches landed, especially in early to mid rounds.
If you compare Bivol's last fights, he fought differently vs Arthur. He's not willing to engage,.it seems that he just wanted to score a decision.

Frankly speaking, a boxer who has won all his fights exclusively by knockout has much more reason to claim the title of the best boxer in the world than someone who won half of his fights thanks to the decision of the judges. No offense taken! And in order to avoid the judges ' bias, you need to box so that after the count of 10 your opponent is still on the floor.

I know this may sound odd, as the whole point of a fight, confrontation, is to produce a winner and produce the best.
Absolute top respect to both these fine gentlemen. Mr Beterbiev has just had knee surgery. He's thirty nine years old, and towards the end of his career. His face is marked and taken brutal punshment.
Mr Bivol, the younger gentleman, the one I narrowly anticipated would clinch the fight, eventhough I know little about either fighter, has the more marked, damaged face.
I dont think either fighter deserved to lose, both exemplary men in all departments. Though, on this occasion, with upmost respect to Bivol, I think it was a fair decision. I hate seeing either fighter lose. If they fight again, it will be another brutal encounter, and I expect, the same dilemma.
