Saw em live at the Culture Room in Ft Laud. They sounded just like the album live & their stage show was boss. Ty for reviewing one of their best hits!
@@OutOnTheTiles That solo is STILL iconic. I’m in my mid 50’s, so I was in my musical taste developmental stage. And even with EVH doing his thing, Randy Rhoades revolutionizing guitar etc... that solo would make you stop and listen, no matter where you were or what you were doing.
pjericson68 Truest of Stories!!! Now, I had heard The Zoo, from Animal Magnetism, & A few songs off of LoveDrive before Blackout dropped. And I loved them, but in my friend group at the time, I was on an Island. Blackout hits Sam Goody (east Coast Record Store Franchise) an all of a sudden my buddies are like ‘Dude! You gotta hear this band! This is YOUR KINDA SHIT!!’ I was like, m’F’r PLEASE! I’ve been banging The Scorpions drum for 3 years! The scorpins was formed in 1965 they been around alot longer than most people realize there biggest song was winds of change about the fall of the Berlin wall it sold over 14 million copies todate and sold over a 100 million records most of the band didn't even speak English when they wrote there early songs was one of a kind band leaving the 70s coming into the 80s 40 years and still hear that song on the radio everyday. Rock you like a hurricane was another big hit.
LOVED your reaction. You let yourself go and went all in. I love that. Scorpions always been a favorite band of mine. Please do us all a favor and react to "Scorpions - Still Loving You" .That one will blow you away. It's beautiful
Holiday, Still loving you, Always somewhere, Lady starlight, are a few power ballads of theirs that I enjoy. The Zoo, Blackout, Dynamite and Arizona are a few rockers I also enjoy. They are a great band and Klaus Meine has a beautiful voice for their ballads.
They (Klaus+Rudi) didnt speak English in the 1960s when they formed. They learned English and speak it just fine from then on, including Matthias whose completely fluent in masking his accent
@@RhonJohns Well I don't know them personally. I was told this by a German citizen who moved to the U.S. so right wrong or indifferent thats where I got my information.
Scorps are one of the best LIVE bands in rock, please React to their stage performances. For instance, US Festival in 83 or Moscow Peace Festival. They always blew every other band off the stage. Thanks for loving our boys!
Musically, the 70's were a perfectly spectacular time to be alive!!! And at almost age 69, I'm so grateful that I was blessed to experience it all live!!!🤘🤘🤘❤❤❤🎸🎧🎤🎶🎼🎵
This was the first song I ever heard by The Scorpions way back in 1982 when I was only 11. I have have been hooked on The Scorps ever since. There are even better live.
A fun band with a long and varied career. Since the early 70s, a lot of influential guitar players went through that band. It was great to see their big success in the late 70s. Check out Big city nights
This in the 80's was considered Metal. I remember then singing this to girls when I was 15 or 16 then. I couldn't sing, but I would "think" this would get me in, now older I know it didn't work as well as I thought.
Merry Christmas Scribe! Thanks for the great reaction to a classic metal band like the Scorpions! The Scorpions hit it big in the late 70's with the guitarist Rudy Schenker, vocalist Klaus Meine, bass player Francis Buckholz, Mattias Jabs, and on percussion Herman Rarebell, aka Herman Ze German! Rudy has a brother, Michael, who was the lead guitarist for another famous classic hard rock band called UFO and later the Michael Schenker Group. UFO is worthy of some reactions but it's the live stuff you need to react to. The entire "Stranger In the Night" double live album is fire! My brother Ty was a studio drummer and he met Herman's drum tech and he introduced Ty to Herman and they jammed a few times. They have a huge catalog to react to but some of my favorites are "Loving You Sunday Morning", "Still Loving You", "Big City Nights", and "The Zoo", but there are some great deep cuts on every album, those are just the more commercial successful tracks.
Happy to say I had front row seats for their concert during the Blackout tour in 1982. They were of course great live but I think they inspired one of the scenes in Spinal Tap when the band emerged from pods. That was pretty much how they took the stage.
I forget which reaction (They're all priceless!) I just commented on, but you were commenting about how they were old and still rocking. I agree with you but if you were impressed with ACDC, check out The Scorpions at Hellfest 2015. Their ballad "Still loving you", which fun fact: came out just three months before 'Purple Rain' and I think doesn't have the same Umph! as PR but still is a powerful ballad. Get this, what I think makes The Scorpions awesome at 2015 Hellfest, and belting out 'Still loving you' along with other tunes....they are in their 70's! Scorpions were formed in 1965 and their biggest hits came 20 years after they were formed. And check out the audience. They are your age, and they know all the words! Yer awesome!
Rudolph (Yes that is his name, it's a German band out of what was West Germany [Cold War].) is your guitarist along with Uli. Klaus Meine is your lead vocalist and he can do way more than that. React to "Still Loving You". You will have goosebumps. ;)
hell yes! I grew up listening to this! my parents have good taste in music! 🤘🤘 I used to consider this "oldies" but now that I'm 33.. I'm with the oldies 😄
Anyone wondering if they speak English - well, I was fortunate to meet them in Sydney during a pre-concert meet and greet (met Matthias and Rudolph - Klaus was unwell and their gig was cancelled) and I can confirm they can speak the language fine.
This song is probably older than you! Great choice chicky! You nailed your review. Good reaction.nothing phony all real. The boys are still touring well into their 70's.. You might wanna catch the USA tour! I ran their USA f.o.s. fan club for years! Listen to Uli Jon Roth now...off the Scorpions revisited ..the song fly to the rainbow...

Klaus meine has a great voice and so do you young Lady;I have been a scorpions fan since the early 1980's. Listen to the songs Holiday, always somewhere, the zoo, still loving you, rythm of love,...ect
Finally! Thanks for getting to my album request 🙂🤘. The Scorps are legendary and my favorite rock band for a reason. You should definitely take a deep dive into their catalog when you can! They started in the 60’s and still going strong today! Merry Christmas ScribeCash! 🎄
@ScribeCash OH WOW. Didn't think you'd ever react to them. These guys are quite legendary in European music scene. Their most popular days in the US where in the 80s. Literally The Worlds First hard rock band. Formed in the 60s, first album at the beginning of 70s and still touring (2 members from 72 line up, singer and rhythm guitarist and solo guitarist from 1978 ish and 120 ish million albums sold (quite vague hard to measure accurately)) Though I truly enjoy your every reaction. It's nice seeing you expand to new bands and music genres👍 PS. I truly enjoy music from Eminem to this to KSI to ABBA to.... sooo keep the reactions coming👌💥 PS. I know you have the vocal talent for much more than you have displayed in your music videos (as evident of multiple your reaction videos). So I hope you have the courage to use your pretty, soothing and uniquely powerful voice to hypnotize us all in 2021.
40 years later and this song is still ferocious. That first drum hit is a sledgehammer.
The guitar solo is mind bending. ✌️

Might be my fav song of all time
Now that's how a Scorpions track deserves to be reacted to.
"Rock you like a Hurricane gets all the credit but "No one like you" did all the heavy lifting.

Powerhouse of a song by a legendary band. Damn, I love the Scorpions.

Best scorpions track ever and the guitar solo ...... fantastic!
This one hit me hard. That 80's sound was so focused and amazing. Digital everything has lost something very special
Digital tricks are now used to "smooth" everything out so no character is left. Plus modern productions are too loud, causing ear fatigue.
Music of my childhood. I have been on concert of Scorps in 1997 in Kiev. That was fire!
The whole Blackout album kicks Azz!!!
Scorpions "still loving you" Live for some great vocals
