As a teen with low self-esteem (some 40 yrs ago), I believed that my peers were better off than I was. That was until they smoked weed with me. I definitely enjoyed the high, but as I sat there and listened to the others and it dawned on me that they had similar issues. That is when I learned that they were no different than I was. It helped me relate to other people.
Noone is better than anyone else, we all have different and unique gifts as we serve and express to others we serve God but as people who do things just for money and what pertains to lead us further from God leading themselves and humanity astray in this social esoteric illusion
Another lyrical breakdown gem
Clever, clever, Mr. McCartney.
Thought it was about Linda. 🤢😂♥️

I’ve known what this song means for years. Decades.😊
cool story bro....now pass that dutchie on the left hand side.
Kudos to Dylan for being a pusher!
And David crosby also supplied The Fabs
@@PaulFormentos I could definitely believe that!
Well Dylan stone’s you when you’re trying to be so good…
1966 before the Beatles smoked dope ? Hard to believe. Most of us had been doing it for years by then. LSD came along in 1965. I always thought they were ahead of the scene with all that. Revolver was released in 1966... steeped in the psychedelic culture of the time.
Did you maybe get the year wrong ?
1964 was when Dylan met them in the NY hotel and they smoked together for the first time. 1966 Got To Get You Into My Life was released.
Not all the songs were written in the same year that they were released, for example "something" (written between 1968 and 1969, released middle 69), One After 909 (written between 1958-1960, released in 1970)
@agustinsanchez4107 So when was " Got to get you into my Life" written ?
I think it must have been around '62 if it was before they smoked dope .
People say Paul is dead and the replacement could write better than him but the real reason he got better was because of grass . It all makes sense now
In the movie”Help” they we’re laughing and giggling. It took longer to shoot the movie. Then a dentist turned them on top acid. Which was legal at the time. They tried it and would think they can write better. They never took it when they we’re going to record. Bone night, John accidentally took some before he went to the studio. John was freaking out. George Martin went up to the roof and looked at the stars. John was really into them, he asked George if he could see them. He said yes , in an interview, but I bet John could see them.better then I did.
Getting better session
Sayyyyyyyy whattttttt"
Got to get weed into my life
It references the upcoming car crash.....
Never realised that Dylan had such an influence on the Beatles, who in turn also contributed to the disillusioned drug culture of the 60's. It seems that Dylan's sole purpose of his visit, was to trigger the downward spiral of the culture influencers greater than he..
My favorite part of this is a stoned Brien Epstein.
😄 🤣 😂
Classic!
Paul is actually a hobbit and smokes Shire grass.
😄 🤣 😂
Easy one, the song is about sex, drugs and rock n roll.
There is no "really about" in art.
