Right now my middle school is playing for a competition and it's really fun piece especially at the storm. The seagull part for cellos is really funny and cool at the same time.
I loved playing this song in orchestra class, I remember it got a standing ovation when it was over when we performed and at 2:28 I loved that part, this song is beautiful and tells an amazing story.

I played the viola solo in 8th grade! It was pretty nice yet nerve-wracking, bringing out middle voice.
Playing this piece with the cello is a blast.
